Snoop visited Vic Jagger of 102.3 and he told her about ideas he had to portray his life in a multipart biopic. At first, Snoop held his tongue about who would be involved in the project. But then he let it out, saying Ryan Coogler and Lee Daniels were already behind the scenes trying to make the movie or series into a reality. Coogler is best known as the director of Black Panther , while Lee Daniels is behind a little show called Empire. No big deal. Watch Snoop’s words for yourself below… Coogler and Daniels have yet to respond to Snoop’s statements, but hopefully, the three creatives are cooking up greatness in the development stages.

According to Metro UK , 64-year-old Derek Potter had literally gotten away with murder earlier this year when he told police that his wife Lesley hanged herself in their home. An investigation revealed nothing suspicious. One week before Lesley was to be cremated, Derek did something…unthinkable, inexplicable, and downright dumb. After a few beers with this potential new boo, he admitted to her that he had strangled his wife to death. 32-year-old Natalia Mikhailoea-Kisselevskaia says she was shocked at what she heard: Natalia said: ‘We were still on our first pints when he said: “I have got to tell you something”. ‘He said: “I love my wife very much but she was doing my head in so I strangled her”.’ Miss Mikhailoea-Kisselevskaia said she was left ‘shocked’ and thought he was ‘joking’. She added: ‘He was saying it with a straight face – no tears in his eyes, no laughter. ‘I thought: “Oh my god, he’s done it”.’ Natalia took her story straight to the police, an investigation was re-opened, and jury found him guilty as hell after only an hour and eleven minutes of deliberation. In his defense, Derek told the court that Natalia “misunderstood” what he told her and he was really talking about kinky sex with his wife. ‘I said I had nearly killed her six years ago, and that is why I stopped drinking, and she misunderstood me. ‘I’ve had a great sex life, I’ve been married four times. I’ve had a crazy sex life in my time.’ But he denied to police that she died during a sex game. He told them: ‘This was suicide.’ Wow. SMH.

Florida Votes To Restore Voting Rights To Ex-Cons Despite a major loss for the Democrats in Florida , the state got progressive on one major issue in particular. Voters approved Amendment 4 on their ballots, a policy that ensures that the vast majority of felons will regain their right to vote upon release from incarceration, or as soon as they are placed on probation. According to USA Today , previously, former Florida felons would have to wait five years after completing their sentence or their probation and file a former request with the Florida Clemency Board to restore their voting rights. Now, save those convicted of murder or sexual offenses, those who have satisfactorily served their time will have their voting rights restored automatically. Good for Florida making life easier for an overlooked subsector of the population! Maybe this will help them get that extra push at the polls next go ’round. Getty/Instagram

Of course, this tweet ended up making the rounds and circled back all the way to Rihanna , who obviously isn’t okay with her music being played anywhere that’s associated with 45. She swiftly tweeted her disapproval and promised that her song wouldn’t be played at “those tragic rallies” for music longer…and Rih meant BUSINESS. According to the letter, Trump has used Rihanna’s music “in connection with a number of political events held across the United States,” which is deemed “improper” because Rihanna hasn’t given her consent. Trump could ask permission from here on out, but we all know what her answer would be–which is probably why his people didn’t bother approaching her in the first place. This is far from the first time we’ve seen Ms. Fenty get political. Rihanna has remained politically active during this midterm season, and she endorsed Florida candidate Andrew Gillum on Instagram over the weekend as she continues to encourage every one of her fans to go vote. On top of that, Rih also made headlines recently for her apparent refusal to play at the Superbowl halftime show, which she did in support of Colin Kaepernick.
