When I am thick in the midst of my own guidance…when I am creating I am using and speaking from other parts of myself. My gut, my legs, my heart, my fingers, my throat. Source: Cindy Ord / Getty Jhené Aiko’s “Triggered (Freestyle)” Gets The Remix Treatment Jhené Aiko has blessed us with another installment of her track, “Triggered (freestyle).” The new remix features a little help from 21 Savage and Summer Walker, who both follow Aiko’s lead in talking about their failed relationships. The songstress originally dropped “Triggered” back in May before also released a video for the song. While a lot of people took this as a diss song toward her on-again off-again boyfriend Big Sean , Jhené took to Twitter following the track’s release to assure everyone that the feelings she felt on the track are no longer. “triggered” was a moment. a moment that for me has passed. it is new to you because ur just now hearing it, but for me… it's something i moved on from the moment i expressed it. — Chilombo (@JheneAiko) May 8, 2019 Hopefully, this new remix means we’re closer and closer to some more new music from the California native, whose most recent album came out 2 years ago. House / Getty Botham Jean’s Mother Allison Speaks After Amber Guyger Conviction This is the face of the pain that police all across America have caused family members and friends with their wanton disregard for Black lives . Yesterday was bittersweet as a Dallas jury found former police officer Amber Guyger guilty of the murder of Botham Jean, but watching Jean’s mother give her victim impact testimony quickly quelled the joy of justice served. Although it is a very somber watch, we suggest checking out Allison Jean’s testimony about her son and he meant to their family. These are the lives that police ruin due to profiling and outright racism. God bless this woman and the entire Jean family.

Hacker Fapper: Yahoo Software Engineer Admits To Illegally Scouring 6,000 Accounts In Search Of Their Nudes

Source: Towfiqu Photography / Getty Yahoo Engineer Pleads Guilty To Hacking Accounts Searching For Nudes A Yahoo software engineer has plead guilty to hacking 6,000 accounts in search of personal porn and nude photographs . According to DailyMail , 34-year-old Reyes Daniel Ruiz told a federal court that he gained access to the accounts via his prior period of employment with the internet company. He admitted that he typically targeted younger women, fellow employees, and his friends. At some point Ruiz’s boss became suspicious and he destroyed the computer in question and the freaky fappy hard drive where he kept his stockpile of illicitly obtained photos and videos. After being indicted in April, Ruiz was ultimately charged with one count of Computer Intrusion and one count of Interception of a Wire Communication, but plead down to just the Computer Intrusion. ‘The maximum statutory penalty for each count in violation of Computer Intrusion…is five years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000, plus restitution,’ the statement says. This fappy-fingered f-boy is set to be sentenced in February 2020.

Mo Money: Jordan Peele And Monkeypaw Productions Sign A 5-Year Deal With Universal Studios

Source: Jean Baptiste Lacroix / Getty Jordan Peele Signs A 5-Year Deal With Universal Studios Jordan Peele is the latest celebrity to sign a deal with Universal Studios. According to reports from Variety , Universal and Jordan Peele have reached an agreement that will link him exclusively to the studio for the next five years. The specific numbers have not been disclosed, but it is assumed that the deal is close to nine figures. This number also includes incentives for films that are expected to duplicate the critical and commercial success of Get Out  and  Us . Peele is in this along with his partner, Win Rosenfeld, and they will receive upfront compensation with the renegotiated back-end box office percentages for their Monkeypaw films. Universal Films entertainment group chairman Donna Langle announced this new deal in a statement on Tuesday. She explains that the director’s production house has earned this agreement because Peele has “established himself as a premier voice and original storyteller with global appeal. He is leading a new generation of filmmakers that have found a way to tap into the cultural zeitgeist with groundbreaking content that resonates with audiences of all backgrounds.” In his own statement, Peele echoed Universal’s trust in his vision when he spoke on their partnership. “It would not have been possible to make Get Out  and  Us without the endless trust and support we received from Donna Langley and the team at Universal,” he explained. “Their willingness to take risks and their commitment to original content makes them the perfect collaborative partner for Monkeypaw. I couldn’t be more excited for what lies ahead.” As of now, Monkeypaw and Universal are currently working on two new films. Just like his major successes Get Out  and  Us , Peele is going to write, direct, and produce both of them. Beyond those two projects, Monkeypaw is also behind the reimagining of the 1992 film Candyman, which Peele is set to co-write. Congrats to Jordan Peele, Win Rosenfeld, Monkeypaw, and Universal on an amazing partnership!

Future kicked it up a notch, at least for photo ops, on Joie’s day. The 31-year-old lady posted photos from Turks and Caicos on Instagram. In her Instastory, she tagged herself in a photo with her baby daddy Future as he leaned over her at her birthday dinner, writing “Thank You”. Future seemingly funded an intimate dinner on the white sand beaches of Turks for Joie. The table was set for at least 8 people, lit with candles, cocktails and a personalized cake with Joie’s initials embossed in it. Source: ALASTAIR PIKE / Getty Twitter Rolls Out Anti-Abuse Feature for Direct Messages Twitter has just announced that it is releasing a spam and abuse filter for  direct messages , which, for some, is a much-needed feature for the sometimes-toxic social media platform. This new filter will be available on Twitter’s iOS, Android, and Web apps, according to reports from TechCrunch . The company also announced that it had started testing the feature about a month and a half ago. This anti-abuse filter works by adding a new view to the “additional messages” inbox, where DMs from people you don’t follow are sent. If you go and click it, messages that possibly include graphic content also have hidden previews, with the new choice to delete the message without having to read it first. If you’re wondering who would be the target audience for this addition, the new DM feature is beneficial for people who like to keep their direct messages open but don’t want to receive the offensive messages that may come with that. This feature from Twitter definitely feels overdue since abusive content is so common that third-party developers have already created their own filtering tools for similar situations. This is just the latest attempt for the platform to make Twitter a safer, less crazy place. In the beginning of September, Twitter rolled out its “hide replies” feature in the U.S. and Canada. This allows users to have the option of picking which replies to hide without completely deleting them. Are you feeling all of these new Twitter features? This negative trend is continuing according to reports from TMZ that the rapper has been ordered to pay $150,000 for allegedly orchestrating a fake concert that was promoted under his name. According to court documents obtained by the publication, Wayne was being sued by Ramin Natan for both breach of contract and fraud. The judge ruled in favor of Natan in a default settlement, because Wayne didn’t ever bother tending to the lawsuit. Now, the New Orleans rapper has to pay Natan a smooth $150K in damages. This news comes after Natan first filed this lawsuit back in January. According to the client and his lawyers, Lil Wayne and the Migos are “Ponzi scheme artists” that book shows that they never truly intended on performing at in the first place. Natan says that he gave Eric Stenger $500,000 to promote a Lil Wayne concert, even though Stenger was never a concert promoter at all. Natan feels like Stenger knew Lil Wayne and gave the rapper the $500,000 to perform, but he never showed up. Weezy was served with the lawsuit papers months ago and never responded to Natan’s claims. As a result, the judge ruled in the plaintiff’s favor. In most cases, the judge will give the defendant another chance to respond to being served before the verdict is finalized–but it’s unclear if Lil Wayne is going to move forward with the process or just shell out the $150,000. Hopefully concerts stop being such a negative for Wayne (and his fans) sometime soon.
