Joe Thomas Sr. played as a running back this weekend for SC State at the tender age of 55. USA Today reports: Joe Thomas Sr. made college football history by appearing as a running back for South Carolina State. Thomas at the age of 55 is believed to be the oldest player to participate in a Division I football game. The father of Green Bay Packers linebacker Joe Thomas Jr., practiced with the team with his son and then stayed on the past two seasons with the hope of find his way into a game. The Rock Says He’s Not Sorry For Calling Out Vin Diesel The Rock isn’t about to send any apologies Vin Diesel’s way anytime soon. While talking his upcoming film ‘Moana’ with the LA Times , he revealed that when he publicly went off on Vin Diesel for being an unprofessional crybaby on the set of Fast & Furious 8 earlier this year, he not only meant every word he said, but he felt like he did the studio a favor: In August, he posted a candid Instagram from the set of “Fast 8” calling out his male costars for being “candy asses.” “Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t,” he wrote in the post. “When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling — you’re right.” The post immediately went viral, sparking a string of TMZ reports about a beef between Johnson and costar Vin Diesel. A few months later, Johnson seems to have no regrets about the post. “I was very clear with what I said. I’ve been in the game a long time,” he said with a knowing smile. “Would Universal [Pictures] have preferred that didn’t happen? Sure, we talked about it. The irony is after that and as they do their tracking and all their analysis, the interest shot through the roof to a whole other level.” WELP. The sexiest man alive has spoken. That’s that.

Rapper The Game Loses Sexual Abuse Lawsuit To Priscilla Rainey A decision was made by jurors in the case of rapper The Game vs. Priscilla Rainey , a reality show contestant who accused him of sexual assault and filed a $10 million lawsuit. After a 4 day trial, the jurors found The Game aka Jayceon Taylor liable according to reports from The Jasmine Brand . No report has been made yet on how much she will be rewarded in the case. The reward may in fact be decided in a separate trial. Priscilla says the Game took advantage of her after a day of filming a reality show, insinuating it was mandatory they go on an after hours date. After hours of being highly intoxicated, The Game touched her “bare buttocks and vagina”, degrading the “Who’s Got Game” contestant. Sheesh. The Game has yet to make a comment about the jury’s decision. In the past, the rapper has made claims that he will never pay up to Rainey, regardless of the court’s decision. Do you think he’s going to give up that cash easily??

Jesus Take The Wheel: Teen Grandson Of Chicago Congressman Danny Davis Murdered Over “Gym Shoes”

Congressman Danny Davis’ Teenage Grandson Murdered Over His Shoes In Chicago Greiving grandfather and U.S. Congressman Danny Davis lost his 15-year-old grandson, Jovan Wilson, over “gym shoes and clothes” during a home-invasion at his residence in Chicago last night according to ChicagoTribune . Another tragic instance of a young person losing their life in the embattled city. “He was a typical 15-year-old,” the congressman said. “He liked basketball. If you listened to him he was a basketball star, but he liked basketball and music. All those kinds of things. He was an avid sports fan, he knew all about, you know, the stats of different players.” Two teens, 15 and 17, boy and girl respectively, broke into Davis’ south side home where Jovan, his 3 siblings and an uncle were. Police say the teen assailants targets Jovan and wanted his sneakers (at the risk of being irresponsible, no one would be surprised if these were Jordans). After a brief argument, the 15-year-old boy pulled a pistol and shot Jovan in the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene. “Initially it was that he had been shot and then actually the police commander called me and indicated that, there during a home invasion, he had been shot and it didn’t look good,” Davis said. “Immediately I simply left and came out to the area where it had taken place,” Davis said. “It’s totally disconcerting.” In speaking on the gun violence in his city, Davis revealed a heartbreaking truth: “I guess that I always knew that the possibility existed that it could happen close to me,” Davis said. “As a matter of fact, I thought it was so unfortunate because Jovan had just reached a point, 15, his grades had improved at school. His father had just told me about how proud of him that he was because he was catching on and realizing that all of his life was in front of him.” R.I.P. Javon Wilson.
