Source: Mario Mitsis/WENN.com / WENN Sarah Jessica Parker Says She Was Harassed by A Big Movie Star On Set Sadly, even the biggest stars in the industry are subject to power imbalances and harassment in the workplace. Sarah Jessica Parker revealed recently that she was harassed by a “very, very big movie star” during a discussion of the #MeToo movement on an episode of NPR’s Fresh Air . The actress did not name who the person was or give away the project, but she wanted to make it clear that industry problems with harassment exist on all levels. She admitted that recent events forced her to reevaluate the way she had been treated throughout her career. “It really wasn’t, I would say, until about six or eight months ago that I started recognizing countless experiences of men behaving poorly, inappropriately, and all the ways that I had made it possible to keep coming to work or to remain on set, or to simply … just push it down, push it away, find a little space for it and move on,” she told host Terry Gross. The Sex and the City star also noted that a perceived power imbalance between herself and the unnamed star kept her quiet about his harassment for a really long time. Luckily, she eventually decided that she had enough and explained the situation to her agent. Her agent ended up threatening the right people, saying that Parker would walk if the harassment continued, and that’s when the environment changed immediately. “I didn’t have to listen to jokes about me or my figure or what people thought they could talk me into doing,” she said. “That stopped.” Sarah Jessica Parker also admitted that it can be difficult, even for a star of her caliber, to come forward.  “I didn’t feel as powerful as the man who was behaving inappropriately, which … strikes me as just stunning to say out loud because there were plenty of occasions where it was happening and I was in a different position and I was as powerful.”

The six foot five Compton, CA native is now coaching the Big3 basketball league’s Triplets and will lead her team this weekend as they face off against the Tri-State. “Being part of the Big3 has been more than I’ve ever dreamed of,” Leslie told us. “I saw it and I watched it as a fan, and to be part of the Big3 family – I kind of get choked up because I never thought that I would really coach.” Leslie was honored Friday at Toyota’s Women of Big3 Power Luncheon at the MoCada Museum in Brooklyn, where she spoke about her new role and how basketball impacted her life. Also honored was Big3 chairwoman Amy Trask and Big3 head coach Nancy Lieberman. And when she was asked about what it was like to coach a team of male athletes, Leslie said that it’s not a big deal. “It’s just been so much fun,” she said. “It’s been thrilling – I always say it’s like playing chess and playing dominoes and playing spades all at the same time. Lashana Lynch who played Maria Rambeau in “Captain Marvel” will take on the famous 007 moniker in the forthcoming James Bond film. To be clear, the history-making moment means she’s the first BLACK PERSON and the first FEMALE to take on the role. The British actress, 31, will play 007 in what The Daily Mail is describing as a “popcorn dropping moment” between her and the current Bond Daniel Craig. Bond is apparently retired and BEFUDDLED that this “brilliant young black woman” won’t fall for his charm. “Bond, of course, is sexually attracted to the new female 007 and tries his usual seduction tricks, but is baffled when they don’t work on a brilliant, young black woman who basically rolls her eyes at him and has no interest in jumping into his bed,” a source told the Mail. “It’s a popcorn-dropping moment. Bond is still Bond but he’s been replaced as 007 by this stunning woman,” the source told the Mail. The film is currently in production in Italy and the UK. Lynch has already been spotted filming on set and she shared a behind the scenes clip. According to News4Jax , a girl and her mother got in on the latest disgusting internet craze during a trip to the doctor’s office, the absolute last place you would want to wantonly lick things, but we digress. While waiting to be seen at the All About Kids and Families Medical Center, the girl’s mother whipped out her cell phone to record her daughter licking a tongue depressor then putting back in the container for some unsuspecting person to use. Not only did this piss-poor excuse for a mother record the germy viral ritual, but she also posted the clip to her Snapchat page. The video was spread far and wide around the internet and the mother, who asked not to be identified, said she has been receiving death threats. News4Jax asked why she recorded it. She responded, “I had just been waiting a long time. I was just being silly with my kids.” Her soon-to-be-ex-husband said he was horrified when he realized the girl in the video was his daughter. “My mouth hit the floor. I was completely surprised and shocked that she would even put something like that out there to be seen,” the father said. “I’m very embarrassed. That is not how I want my children raised or brought up.” Here’s what the medical center had to say about the incident: “We were notified yesterday a patient had violated our trust with behavior that is inconsistent with the practices and standards that we uphold and expect at our facility. “Upon notification of this isolated incident, we contacted law enforcement to request a full and thorough investigation. In addition, we immediately removed all materials and containers from the specific exam room and re-sanitized our entire facility. Our internal investigation does not reveal any resulting risks or harm to patients from this action. “This type of behavior is not tolerated at All About Kids and Families Medical Center. Each year, we serve thousands of patients, and providing quality care and ensuring their safety is our top priority.” Send. These. Hoes. To. JAIL.
