The CEO Of The DNC Says They Tried To Get Beyoncé To Support Hillary Clinton At Convention Beyoncé has been a very vocal supporter of the Obama’s since their first run at office back in 2008. She has also been a very vocal supporter of women’s rights, empowerment and feminism. That said, it was a bit surprising that she didn’t show face at the Democratic National Convention this past week to support both the Obamas and Hillary Clinton in their mission to make her the very first woman president of these United States. However, that isn’t to say that Clinton and the DNC didn’t want request her presence. DNC CEO Rev. Leah Daughtry spoke to Refinery29 last month about the possibility of a Bey sighting: I heard you love Beyoncé. Any chance she’ll be joining us in Philadelphia? “I believe she’s in Sweden on the Formation tour, but we’re going to see what we can do to get her to fly over for the night or so. We’ll see!” From what we can tell, Beyoncé doesn’t seem to be a Trump supporter or an “undecided” as she was seen attending an L.A. Reid-hosted fundraiser for HRC back in May. Did Kylie Jenner Jack Her New Cosmetic Collection? Just a few days ago, the 18-year-old Kylie Jenner released a new eyeshadow palette on her website which sold out in all of 1 minute. Yes, 1 minute! Now it’s great to have ‘fan luv’ as DJ Khaled would call it, but that doesn’t mean it’s okay to jack ideas from the working class Since Kylie dropped revealed her new line, social media has been debating about whether or not she stole the idea from popular beauty blogger and Youtube, Shannon Harris. Over the years, Shannon has worked her way up to over 2 million loyal subscribers who brought the similarities to her attention. After catching wind of Kylie’s new palette and comparing it to the one she has been selling under her own brand, Shanaaxo, the striking similarities to Kylie’s new palette were too much to ignore. Just a coincidence or nah? Shannon didn’t seem to think so when she posted the tweet below which was ultimately retweeted over 15,000 times and favorited 24,000 times. Peep: Right. After receiving backlash by Kylie Jenner fans all over twitter, it wasn’t long before Sharon took to social media to apologize. What say you? Did Kylie get her Melania Trump on? Will you be watching??? Are You Here For It? The Life Of Biggie Inspires a New TV Series If you never thought you’d see a TV show based around the life of an iconic black rapper, think again. TBS is working on a scripted T.V. series called Think B.I.G. that will be loosely based on the life of Biggie. Yep, you read it right. The show is currently in development and will draw from Biggie’s true story of growing up in Brooklyn and trying to make a better life for himself and family at the tender age of 21. We haven’t gotten wind about the cast or who will be playing the rapper but we certainly hope they choose someone who can get it right. It should be interesting to see what TBS network will do with this storyline. Will you be here for it??

Antonio Armstrong And Wife Dawn Killed By Their Teenage Son Extremely tragic story coming out of Houston this evening. Former NFL player and Texas A&M football star Antonio Armstrong, and his wife of over 20 years Dawn, were each shot dead in their bedroom by their own 16-year-old son, while the entire family was home. Via NYDN : Former NFL player Antonio Armstrong and his wife were fatally shot by their teenage son in the family’s Houston home early Friday, police said. Armstrong’s wife, Dawn, was pronounced dead in their bedroom after their 16-year-old son dialed 911 around 1:30 a.m., police sources told KTRK-TV. Antonio Armstrong was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but multiple local media outlets reported that he had died later in the day. Investigators who searched the southwest Houston home found a gun still smoking with a note next to it reading, “I’ve been watching you,” the TV station reported. Police arrested the 16-year-old boy. Sources close to the investigation said he was likely to be charged as an adult. All three of the couple’s children — including a 20-year-old son and a teenage daughter — were in the Palmetto St. home at the time of the shooting. All were unharmed, Houston police homicide investigator Jimmy Dodson told the Houston Chronicle. SMH. What the hell would drive their son to do something so heinous to his own parents like this?? Poor MJB! Mary J. Blige Issues Statement On Divorce Mary J. Blige is well aware that fans are reeling over the news that she and her hubby Kendu Issacs are no more, so she’s released a statement. According to the songstress this is a “very difficult, emotional time for her” and sometimes “things don’t work.” ESSENCE reports: Ms. Blige is saddened to say [that] it is true that she has filed for divorce, saying sometimes things don’t work how we hoped they would… but, there is a divine plan and a reason for everything. Mary will continue writing and working on her album, which is due out later this year along with her world tour. She thanks and appreciates her fans for their support and love through this very difficult emotional time.” That was a very politically correct response to the divorce news, what do YOU think really happened between them???
