Phony Promoter Sells Bogus Drake Concert Tickets Fans were shocked earlier this week as the announcement came out that Drake is going on 8 tour dates in the month of May. Presumably in promo of his surprise release “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late,” in Miami and Houston alone, fans have clamored to get their hands on the $350 tickets for the chance to see Champagne Papi live and in person. The only issue? Drake hasn’t signed on for any tour dates. Anywhere. Whatsoever. According to TMZ , Drake just recently caught wind of the scam. Neither he, the rest of YMCMB, nor anyone in his OVO camp have any idea who the promoter is that’s cashing in at his fans’ expense…but he’s pissed and “out for blood.” Right now, he’s advising his poor gullible fans to call the police if they got scammed…because he isn’t planning shows in those cities anytime soon.
