Pennsylvania Groundhog Punxsutawney Phil Predicts Six More Weeks Of Winter via Huffington Post The handlers of Pennsylvania’s most famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, said Monday the furry rodent has forecast six more weeks of winter. Members of the top hat-wearing Inner Circle announced the “prediction” Monday morning. A German legend has it that if a furry rodent sees his shadow on Feb. 2, winter will last another six weeks. If not, spring comes early. The forecast was also announced on Twitter, as was referenced in the official proclamation read by Jeff Lundy, the Fair Weatherman of the Inner Circle. “Forecasts abound on the Internet, but, I, Punxsutawney Phil am still your best bet. Suge Knight Says He Didn’t Know He Ran Over Man Really? C’mon, bruh… According to TMZ reports : Suge Knight has a defense to the fatal hit and run … he didn’t know he hit and ran. Sources connected with Suge tell TMZ … he claims he was in fear of his life when he gunned his truck, striking and killing Terry Carter and injuring Cle “Bone” Sloan. Suge says he had just been beaten by 2 to 4 guys while he sat hostage in his truck. And he says, he was frail because he was shot 6 times last Summer and on top of that, almost died recently from a blood clot. Suge says he was so discombobulated when he floored it he had no idea his truck struck anyone. Here’s the problem … even if this gets him out of a hit and run, cops still believe he intentionally tried to run over Bone and then hit Terry by accident, and if true that would constitute felony murder. Tyler Perry & Bobby Brown Go To Hospital With Bobbi Kristina As she remains in a medically induced coma after being found face down in a bath tub , Bobbi Kristina is currently being looked after by her father Bobby Brown and family friend Tyler Perry. Tyler Perry previously wanted to secure Bobbi Krissy for a role on “For Better Or For Worse” and has been defensive of her in the press. Via TMZ: Sources close to the family tell TMZ Bobby Brown has arrived at the hospital with Tyler Perry and the two are at Bobbi Kristina’s bedside. We’re told Tyler was flying from LA to Atlanta for business and offered to take Bobby with him when the news broke. E! News also has an update on Bobbi Krissy’s condition via her cousin YF Kennedy. Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of late Whitney Houston, remains hospitalized in a hospital near Atlanta on Saturday after being found unresponsive in a bathtub in the home she shares with husband Nick Gordon. Her father, Bobby Brown, and his nephew and her cousin, Jerod Brown, who goes by the name YF Kennedy, both rushed to travel to go see her upon hearing the news, E! News has learned. “We don’t know what happened yet,” YF Kennedy told E! News exclusively. “We don’t know why she was unresponsive.” The 21-year-old’s hospitalization occurred almost three years to the day her mother died at age 48 after being found unresponsive in a bathtub in a hotel room. She died of accidental drowning, spurred by cocaine use and heart disease. Bobbi Kristina’s cousin told E! News he has been texting with Gordon and has heard that she is stable. Her health status has not been confirmed by hospital officials. Police are investigating the incident. “Krissi doesn’t do drugs,” he added. “She hasn’t been drinking or doing drugs and she’s cut down on cigarettes. She’s been trying to get her music together and keep her voice clean. Her voice is so beautiful.” YF Kennedy talked about how she has been coping with the tragic loss. “She’s still been going through the grieving stages but is trying to keep her spirits up,” he said. “She’s been going to the gym every day with her husband and trying to be happy. She swims a lot.” “It’s a rough time lately with the anniversary,” he added. “So this is a blow to the family.” Prayers for Bobbi Kristina! Bobbi Kristina Found Lifeless In Bathtub, Revived At Hospital According to TMZ reports : Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter was found unconscious in a bathtub in her home — and taken to a hospital where she is now breathing … TMZ has learned. Bobbi Kristina Brown’s husband Nick Gordon and a friend found her in the tub … according to police in Roswell, GA. We’re told her husband and friend immediately started CPR on her … until police and paramedics arrived. We’re told police took over life-saving measures on the scene — and then she was taken by ambulance to a hospital. Doctors have now stabilized her breathing. Still unclear why Bobbi fell unconscious. We’re told a friend made the call to 911 from Bobbi’s house. The circumstances are especially eerie — Whitney died in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton on February 11 … three years ago. We can’t imagine what that girl goes through every year about this time, but someone needs to be keeping a VERY close eye on her from here on out.
