Taraji P. Henson took the wheel for the latest installment of “Undercover Lyft.” If you ask us, most of her L.A. based riders recognized the actress right away, but based on the ending it looks like a few were surprised. During her rides Henson dropped a few hints about her identity, making references to “Empire” and her upcoming film “What Men Want” which is due out Friday, February 8th. According to Page Six reports , Lyft is a supporter of Henson’s Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation. Named after the actress’ father, the foundation works to change the perception of and spread awareness about mental illness in African-Americans. Henson’s riders were treated to the Los Angeles premiere of “What Men Want” the day after the episode’s taping.

There’s more political strife in Virginia in the midst of the Virginia Governor blackface scandal. As previously reported Democratic Governor Ralph Northam (above) was outed by a right-wing website who published a photo from Northam’s medical school yearbook that shows him in blackface and standing next to a man in a KKK outfit. He at first admitted that it was him in the photo but then recanted . There are now feverish calls for him to step down, calls that he’s casually ignoring. Now the third in line to be Governor if Northam steps down is confessing that he too has worn blackface. Attorney General Mark Herring admitted Wednesday that he wore blackface to dress up like a rapper at an 80s college party. Source: Katherine Frey/Washington Post via Getty Images / Getty In a statement obtained by CNBC , he said that while an undergraduate at the University of Virginia “some friends suggested we attend a party dressed like rappers we listened to at the time, like Kurtis Blow, and perform a song.” “It sounds ridiculous even now writing it. But because of our ignorance and glib attitudes – and because we did not have an appreciation for the experiences and perspectives of others – we dressed up and put on wigs and brown makeup, Herring said. “This was a onetime occurrence and I accept full responsibility for my conduct.” Just four days ago Herring criticized Governor Northham and said “it is no longer possible” for him to remain in office. If you couldn’t believe that things would get much worse, hold onto your wigs. Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax, also a Democrat, has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman at the Democratic National Convention in 2004. Fairfax is second in line to be Governor. Fairfax has denied her accusation and said what happened between them was “consensual.” If all three of the Democrats resign, the next Virginia Governor will be Republican Kirk Cox. Cox is the current state’s speaker of the House of Delegates. All top VA officials wore blackface except for the one with a black face who has been accused of sexual assault. Source: Roger Eritja / Getty Next time you need a lawyer, make sure that his pantsuit isn’t swarming with bed bugs — like one Oklahoma lawyer who showed up to the courthouse with the pesky insects jumping off of his clothes. Rogers County Sheriff Scott Walton told reporters : “I was told the individual that had them also shook his jacket over the prosecutors files. Hard to imagine someone doesn’t know, you know that some bed bugs are crawling all over them certainly in abundance.” Courthouse officials had a meeting and decided to close the courthouse on Monday at noon. Exterminators were called to get rid of the bugs and the building was reopened early Tuesday morning. Visitors and employees were urged to seek treatment immediately. Gross.

If you’re a cable news junkie then you’ve seen Malcolm Nance airing out the truth about Donald Trump and his shady regime for years now. Yo! LMFAO! Long live Huey and Riley! Even Nicole Wallace was brought into The Boondocks world. Aaron made it pretty clear that we might not get this again or regularly, but damn are we happy to at least have The Boondocks back for the moment.
