Rihanna got yet another tattoo over the weekend. Spoiler alert: It’s not of Chris Brown . Or Drake. The singer, who has at least 16 other tattoos, got inked up on her ankle. That’s a falcon of some kind, which she explained in the following Tweet: “Falcon: a light that always shines in the darkness! Never close their eyes during sleep,” Rihanna wrote about her newest, permanent work of body art. Among Rihanna’s many other tattoos: A cross on her neck A gun on her ribcage Various stars here and there Music notes on both of her feet The word “Love” on her finger She also had a thug life tattoo at one point, though it looks like that may have been one of those temporary things. Probably for the best on that one.
Rihanna recently obtained a new tattoo of a tiny cross, pictured in a slanted position on her left collarbone. It’s her 16th tattoo overall, according to reports! The ink artist, Bang Bang, posted a black and white photo of his creation: “New #cross #tattoo I put on @rihanna last night,” he Tweeted (below). Rihanna, 24, got herself inked on March 15 in New York from her preferred tattoo artiste. Bang Bang is the creator of most of the singer’s tattoos. He says they decided to put the latest mark on the R&B star’s collarbone “because it’s easy to hide with a necklace but also can be in plain sight.” Why does a woman need so many tattoos in the first place? Who cares, it’s fun. “She always flips out [when it’s done] and jumps up and down like a 16-year-old girl getting her first car,” Bang Bang said. Following past trips to Ghana and Chile as an ambassador for UNICEF, Selena Gomez is now planning an even more dangerous trek, telling E! News last Friday night: “In April, we’re going to go somewhere a little harder, the Congo… I was talking to Joel Madden and he works with UNICEF and he went… and he said it was the most intense thing he had ever done in his entire life – and the best thing he had ever done.” Gomez has served as a UNICEF ambassador for approximately two years, raising over $200,000 for the cause last week during an event at The House of Blues. “We’re helping to save the lives of children all over the world,” Selena wrote on her Facebook page.

Beyonce gave birth to a beautiful baby girl yesterday. Seriously, it happened. This isn’t just a Twitter rumor. Ivy Blue Carter was born in New York City via c-section. Aww. Beyonce famously announced her pregnancy on stage at MTV’s Video Music Awards back in August, and since then, fan anticipation for the baby has grown by the day. Proud dad Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, was at the hospital where Beyonce gave birth to Ivy . Shortly thereafter, congratulations came pouring in. Rihanna wrote, “Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.” Russell Simmons Tweeted simply, “Congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z.” SO much so that Twitter even tried to name the baby girl Tiana May Carter last month. We think they picked out a nicer name themselves in Ivy Blue. Agree? NOTE: Conflicting reports, including from MSNBC and E!, say the name is actually Blue Ivy Carter. The new ink is much smaller and appears on the celebrity’s left wrist. Yay. LiLo had the work done on Friday night, sources say. At a press conference in Stockholm, Sweden today, the actor – who is touring Europe alongside Ashley Greene in order to promote Breaking Dawn – joked with reporters about that film’s wildly-anticipated wedding ceremony . “The wedding scene’s funny because we used a real priest,” Rob said. “So technically we are already married because he did all the things you would do in a normal ceremony.” Wow. That was fast. Stewart only first confirmed the relationship this month. After Edward and Bella exchange vows, of course, they get it on via a sex scene that was so raunchy, the film was initially given an R rating. Was the scene as hot to fil as it will undoubtedly look? Not exactly, Pattinson said. “The set was crazy and you have about 20 people in the room and someone saying things like: ‘No, Bella would not have made that noise. And when we say bad-a**, we mean tough as hell! The actress got her first tattoo on the inside of her right foot, and it reads “Norman,” her rep tells PEOPLE. It is Aniston’s favorite word after all!
