Karina Smirnoff and Brad Penny have decided to wait on wedding planning. Rest assured, though, the DWTS pro and MLB pitcher are still together. Nearly a year after their engagement, “the wedding has been postponed ,” a source close to couple says. “They are still together, but have conflicting schedules.” With the Tigers out of the playoffs, what does Brad Penny have to do for the next four-plus months besides eat a few more salads and do sit-ups? Just asking. The couple, both 33, went public with their romance back in 2009, after she and fellow Dancing With the Stars stalwart Maksim Chmerkovskiy called it quits. “I believe a wedding is a celebration of a future together,” Karina Smirnoff mused. “It doesn’t matter how it’s going to be. Whatever we decide it’ll be great.” For the moment however, the couple simply “wants to spend more time with one another,” the source explains. “Especially while planning their wedding.” Here’s hoping Penny doesn’t strike out and lose this keeper. Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed: Married!

Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed got married Saturday, making it official after 28 YEARS of dating and two children together. Better late than never! The KISS bassist, 62, and the actress, 54, exchanged vows in evening ceremony outside on the crystal lawn at the posh Beverly Hills Hotel yesterday. The guests cheered loudly when Simmons said “I do” to his partner. Tweed walked down the aisle in an ivory Priscilla of Boston gown, one of three dresses she chose for the occasion, and carried a bouquet of ivory roses. The couple exchanged vows they wrote themselves in front of 400 guests including Hugh Hefner, Bill Maher and, of course, the other KISS members. Also in attendance were Shannon Tweed and Gene Simmons’ two children Nick, 22, and Sophie, 19, who served as the maid of honor for her mother. Their first dance was quite fitting for a couple who have been together nearly 30 years: “At Last” by Etta James, performed by daughter Sophie. Jack Osbourne has a major reason to be happy today, and her name is Lisa Stelly. Sources confirm to Us Weekly that the former reality star and the aspiring actress are engaged! Osbourne, 25, has grown into a respected director. He was behind the camera for father Ozzy’s music video for the track “Life Won’t Wait” in 2010. Sims is a model best known to many for her long-time role on NBC’s Las Vegas (former co-star Josh Duhamel and his wife, Fergie, were in attendance). She will next host a Project Runway spin-off on Lifetime titled Project Accessories , on Lifetime. Lauren Bush and David Lauren: Married!

David Lauren, son of Ralph Lauren, and Lauren Bush, niece of George W. Bush, were married Sunday in a lavish ceremony in Colorado, according to reports. After meeting in 2004 and getting engaged last year, Bush, 27, and Lauren, 39, exchanged vows at the designer’s 17,000-acre ranch in the Rocky Mountains. Though David Lauren and Lauren Bush’s actual ceremony took place on Sunday, the entire holiday weekend was built around wedding festivities. Among the 200 attendees were the bride’s aunt and uncle, former President George W. and First Lady Laura Bush, as well as cousins Jenna and Barbara Bush. Lauren’s grandparents, former President George H.W. and Barbara Bush, were unable to attend but sent a video message, reports th e New York Post. The groom’s sister, Dylan’s Candy Bar owner Dylan Lauren, attended, and Ivanka Trump Tweeted she was there as well. Sounds like a star-studded affair. Fun fact?
