Jason Aldean Marries Brittany Kerr!

Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr are just getting started. The country music superstar exchanged vows with his girlfriend on Saturday in Mexico, sources confirm to Us Weekly. “This is the best day ever. I’ve got my girl here, my friends, my family – it’s the best day ever!” Aldean told the tabloid, while Kerr added via statement: “Today has been the best day of my life. I feel like the luckiest woman to have been able to marry my best friend.” Aldean was caught cheating on his wife with Kerr, a former American Idol contestant, in October of 2012 when photographers snapped the two kissing at a bar. The artist quickly acknowledged the affair and apologized, though he and Jessia Ussery filed for divorce in April of the following year. He then proposed to Kerr in August of 2014 following two years of dating. Aldean and Kerr were feted this weekend by family and friends, including Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson and Aldean’s daughters, Keeley, 12, and Kendyl, 7, from his previous marriage. Johnny Depp and Amber Heard: Married! For the Second Time This Month!

Guys, it’s great to have one wedding, but TWO?! Now we’re talking. Us magazine is reporting that Johnny Depp married Amber Heard in a small ceremony in a cove that overlooks the ocean, with about two dozen chairs set aside for guests. Paul Bettany the Actor/Director/Scariest guy in the world in The Da Vinci Code (when he was the self-mutilating baddie! Yuck!) witnessed the vows, along with Depp’s two children Lily-Rose (15) and Jack (12). While this is Johnny’s second marriage and Amber’s first, it is both of their second time performing these particular marriage vows to each other, as Depp and Heard were officially married last week in West Hollywood. Why get married twice? Well, it’s a celebrity thing. The first time is for the family and friends, and the second time is for the public. The previous ceremony took place at Depp’s home, it was small and intimate. This one had snorkeling, drinking, music … the works! But really, what blushing bride doesn’t want to opportunity to dress-up twice, and to get married to Johnny Depp twice? It’s a little girl’s dream come true – LITERALLY, as Amber Heard was a little girl when Johnny was first becoming a Hollywood heartthrob. Heard (28) met Johnny (51) on the set of the movie The Rum Diary in 2011, and have been together ever since. According to a source close to the couple, “things are in a great place with them”, which is probably good since they just got married twice. Will they go for the tri-fecta? Only time will tell. Elton John and David Furnish: Married!

Sir Elton John and David Furnish have tied the knot. The longtime partners formally converted their civil partnership of nearly a decade to a marriage yesterday. The famous couple hosted a ceremony at their Windsor estate in Berkshire, UK, but first, filled out the necessarily legal paperwork to make it official. Elton said: “That’s the legal bit done. Now on to the ceremony.” John and Furnish formed a civil partnership way back in 2005. In March of this year, England and Wales changed their laws to allow same sex marriage. Elton said at the time he was “very proud” of Britain for the change. “Having our civil partnership,” the 67-year-old singing legend said, was an “incredible breakthrough” in itself, considering the world in which he came of age. “For people that campaigned for a long time – through the ’60s and the ’50s in England when it was to be gay and hard to be open about it. And it was a criminal act.” “So for this legislation to come through is joyous.” “We should celebrate it,” he said. “We shouldn’t just say, ‘Oh, well we have a civil partnership. We’re not going to bother to get married’. We will get married .” The couple has been together since at least 1993. They have adopted two sons together, Zachary, who was born in 2010 and Elijah, born last year. John first came out publicly back in 1988. David and Victoria Beckham, Helena Bonham Carter and Sir Michael Caine were among guests at their reception, from which we expect there will be many photos soon. George R.R. Martin to Seth Rogen: Come Show The Interview at My Theater!

Given the fact that he still has two books to finish in the acclaimed series that inspired Game of Thrones, fans of George R.R. Martin’s would probably prefer that he stay out of harm’s way. Unfortunately for them, Martin has made it clear that he doesn’t give a dragon’s deuce what his fans think, and he recently decided to involve himself in a high-stakes international pissing contest. As we imagine you’ve heard by now, the Seth Rogen-James Franco comedy The Interview was pulled from theaters this week following a series of terrorist threats from what’s believed to be a group of North Korean hackers. Several stars have expressed their frustration over the fact that the nation’s five largest theater chains backed away from the film, thus setting a dangerous precedent and essentially giving in to the demands of terrorists. But while most celebs are content to post outraged online tirades, Martin is putting his money where his mouth is and offering Rogen and company a chance to show their movie on the big screen. In a recent LiveJournal rant (dude is stubbornly old-school), GRRM blasted the “corporate cowardice” of the Regal, AMC, and others, and offered to screen the controversial flick at his own independent theater in New Mexico. “Come to Santa Fe, Seth, we’ll show your movie for you,” Martin writes. Obviously, Rogen’s gotta be less than thrilled with the fact that basically every theater dropped The Interview , making a small arthouse in Santa Fe his best option for reaching an audience, but c’mon…it’s not every day the man who created the Starks offers to make you the King in the South. Britney Spears and Charlie Ebersol: Getting Engaged on Christmas?!

It’s only been six weeks since we learned that Britney Spears is dating Charlie Ebersol , but sources sat the couple is already making  serious plans for the future. Naturally, Brit and Chuck will be spending the holidays together and some suspect that Brit’s favorite gift will come in a very small package: “I would not be shocked if they did get engaged,” an insider tells Radar Online. “Britney’s parents love this guy for her, because, for once, she’s dating someone who has plenty of money of his own.” We guess that’s a good reason. The important thing is that Britney’s family approves of Charlie . The son of former NBC exec Dick Ebersol, Charlie has reportedly won over Brit’s father, sister, and sons. (We’re sure his famous last name and old-money generosity didn’t hurt.) However, the couple may still have a hurdle to clear in the form of Charlie’s mom, who reportedly does not approve of Britney . But, from the sound of things, that won’t be enough to stop Charlie, who may be planning to pop the question as early as tomorrow: “Britney and Charlie are having a holiday party this weekend and she is super excited because it is their first Christmas together,” says the insider. French Montana to Kourtney Kardashian & Scott Disick: Congradulations!!

French Montana recently reached out to Scott Disick, writing the proud parent a congradulatory [sic] note after the birth of his third child with Kourtney Kardashian. What did he have to say? See for yourself below … A nice gesture, but it begs a couple of questions: Why would he want to name Kourtney’s new baby boy Haann or Daddy? Will the Ghost of French haunt the Kardashian family for years to come? Scott shared the card that French sent him, including the inside joke we don’t get (see #1 above) and signed “Uncle Frenchy” (cringe), on his Instagram page. Uncle Frenchy? For reals? Fans who read celebrity gossip sites on a regular basis and/or watch Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons online know French was a factor for awhile. He dated Khloe Kardashian over the summer, then got back together with her again this fall, only to see the romance fall apart once more. It was a busy 2014. From the looks of it, however, she has no interest anything French come 2015. Khloe Kardashian is, after all, signing autographs Mrs. Odom now apparently. Regardless of whether Khlomar is happening again or not, she either needs to give French a more blatant boot out the back door, or he needs to get a clue. It was good while it lasted, Mr. Montana, and we’re glad you’re happy for Scott and Kourtney and all, but you’ll likely never be up there with Uncle ‘Ye. It was a big year for celebrity weddings.  2014 saw the formation of a volatile new A-list power couple, and gave us two of the world’s most famous divorcees taking the plunge for the second time. The Kim and Kanye wedding may have been the glitziest affair, but it was a pair of Ocean’s 11 co-stars who caused the most tears to fall. Brad Pitt married Angelina Jolie in a small ceremony in France. Months later his BFF George Clooney wed Amal Alamuddin in Italy.  It may seem like there’s some connection there, but Brad and George claim they were simply struck by Cupid’s arrow around the same time. Or, more accurately, Brad fell in love like a decade ago and decided to make it official after a few dozen kids, whereas George realized the clock’s ticking on his political career and he better dispense with man-whoring ASAP. But we digress. We’re talking about the celebs who got married in the past 12 months, and while Kimye, Brangelina, and Amalooney may have dominated the headlines, they certainly weren’t the only stars to say “I do.” Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting kicked off the year with a New Year’s Day ceremony after just six months of dating. Two of the Duggar girls got hitched, which means the population of Arkansas is about to triple in size. And, of course, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson began a marriage that has thankfully not yet resulted in a reality show. We’re hoping Jess learned her lesson the first time around. Martina Navratilova and Julia Lemigova: Married!

Martina Navratilova and her longtime partner Julia Lemigova are married. The 58-year-old tennis legend tied the knot earlier this week in New York City. Speaking to the media shortly after the ceremony, Lemigova admitted she was “overwhelmed,” while Navratilova said her new status felt “just really odd.” “I’m 58 years old, I got married for the first time … it’s about time, right?” said the 18-time Grand Slam singles winner, who began dating Lemigova in 2006. “Growing up as a gay woman you just don’t ever think about that, and then I thought, about 10 years ago, ‘You know, I think within 10 years gay marriage will be legal.'” “And here we are, 10 years later, making it legal.” Navratilova proposed during the U.S. Open tournament last September, in a moment that was telecast on the Jumbotron at New York’s Arthur Ashe stadium. The tennis legend was being interviewed in the Tennis Channel suite when she turned to Lemigova and said she would be asking the questions this time. Martina got down on one knee and proposed. “Originally it wasn’t the idea to do it at the U.S. Open, on the Jumbotron and all that, but then it was, ‘Why not?
