Glitch At Illinois Gas Station Lowers Prices To One Cent Per Gallon A gas station glitch in Illinois almost lead to pandemonium on Sunday night when the fuel prices dropped to one cent per gallon. via Fox News A rural Illinois gas station mistakenly sold nearly-free fuel for about two hours Sunday night until authorities had to reset its gas pumps, The Crystal Lake Northwest Herald reported. As word spread, cars lined up and jostled to fill-up. Woodstock Police Sgt. Dennis Leard says authorities had to use an emergency shut-off to stop the sales before the gas station closed in order to reset the pumps to regular prices. “The clerk didn’t appear to be aware [of the price change],” Leard told the paper. “We made him aware of the situation and instructed him to shut off his pumps and fix the problem.” But before that, cars were blocking traffic and lining up on the street to reach the cheap gas. We’re glad they worked things out! It was only a few months ago that Timbaland’s wife Monique Idlett was calling curtains on their matrimony-dom but it looks like they’re back to making sweet music together. Spies said they were living large in giant furs, just like Joe Namath. “Diddy and Rick needed extra room at the table for their furs,” said a source. “Ashanti and Nelly cuddled up next to them and complained Diddy and Rick’s furs took up their seats at every club all weekend.” Ashanti and Nelly broke up last year, and despite her saying they’d never reconcile, they looked “happy to be back together,” a source added. Celebrity boxing star in training George Zimmerman says he wants to fight Kanye West, because the volatile rapper has a history of attacking defenseless people. That’s not ironic at all coming from Zimmerman. Promoters for George’s upcoming celebrity boxing match have received a lot of interest from a lot of stars. DMX wants to beat the f–k out of Zimmerman . George’s dream opponent, however, would be ‘Ye. The promoters would make it happen if they could, knowing for many it will become a choice between two evils and a must-see event for the ages. Mr. Kim Kardashian would never stoop to that level, of course, but it’s fun to imagine the spectacle that would ensue if he somehow agreed to this. Zimmerman says he wants a piece of the rapper because of his attacks on innocent people, such as the 18-year-old who allegedly called Kim a “n–ger lover.” Hard to say how to handicap this hypothetical bout. Kanye has a long history of violent altercations and is never afraid to throw down, while Zimmerman once shot an unarmed teenager to death. The promoters say they’re willing to move the fight to L.A. to accommodate Kanye if he’s interested. Which he won’t be, but we gotta ask anyway: Who would you root for in this fight? George Zimmerman plans to join the ranks of celebrity boxing and is already on the hunt to find a famous opponent, according to reports. Seriously. Promoter Damon Feldman is behind the celebrity boxing match, set to take place on March 1, though it’s unclear who he will be duking it out with. “Boxing isn’t new to me,” George told Radar Online in an article posted on the celebrity news site last week; he also linked to their story about his debut. Zimmerman began boxing long before the February 2012 incident in which he killed Trayvon Martin and became a nationally notorious figure. The case polarized the country around issues of racial justice, self defense and gun control; Zimmerman eventually walked after a jury acquitted him. His plans to get in the ring are just the latest example of cashing in on his notoriety. A George Zimmerman painting recently sold for over $100,000 (seriously). Some of the proceeds from the event would go to an animal rescue charity, Zimmerman said, while suggesting he might do this more than once. “Obviously if I get my butt kicked around, then no!” he quipped. Speaking of which, a number of celebrities such as The Game and DMX say they will gladly face off against Zimmerman. Just give them that opportunity. In fact, X says he would whomp Zimmerman’s ass on behalf of “every black person who has been done wrong in the system,” then urinate on him. “I am going to beat the living f–k out him,” the rapper told TMZ , adding that “I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f–k him right up.” “Once I am done with him, I am going to whip my d–k out and piss on him, right in his muthaf–kin face. Zimmerman is a piece of s–t and that’s what he needs to drink.” As you might expect, given such vitriol, security is said to be off the hook and the event closed to the public … so no one pulls a Zimmerman on Zimmerman. Like DMX, George has had number of brushes with law enforcement official. He has twice been stopped for speeding, once in Texas and in Florida. In September, Zimmerman was held by police after his estranged wife, Shellie Zimmerman , called authorities saying he threatened her with a gun. He was not charged in the incident, which occurred after she filed for divorce.
