Most recently, she was spotted sporting the large stone on Saturday as the two posed for pictures on the red carpet at Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night XVVIII in Phoenix. Even though they won’t be planning a wedding anytime soon, the couple, who have been dating on and off since 2009, have a lot to be excited about. “The Hunger Games” had the third-biggest opening weekend of all time, beating out all of the “Twilight Saga” movies when it raked in $155 million. Hemsworth and Cyrus will next be seen together on an upcoming episode of MTV’s “Punk’d,” where the former “Hannah Montana” star tells her boyfriend that two naked people have locked themselves in her car, a prank Hemsworth doesn’t seem to be too fond of. “I knew she was doing the show. A Bay County man is in police custody after reportedly becoming so angry about dinner that he fired one shot at his wife with a handgun. Bay County Sheriff’s deputies say the wife called 911 from the couple’s basement after an argument. She told the dispatcher that her husband was “highly intoxicated.” According to a news release, the 62-year-old man was upset about dinner and shot at his wife, narrowly missing her. Authorities said when deputies arrived at the scene they used a loud speaker to coax the man from his home. The wife was not injured in the incident. Sunday School Teacher Who Tried To Meet Up With A 14-Year-Old For Sex Met Police Instead A 21-year-old man from Douglas County is charged with enticing a child for sex — a girl whom he met in his Sunday School class. Brent Turley, 21, who also goes by Pete, lives in Norwood. Investigators say he planned to secretly meet a 14-year-old girl at a Mountain Grove city park. “(He was) wanting to meet on Monday. It was all arranged through text messages,” said Wright County Sheriff Glenn Adler. Adler says Turley intended to take the girl he’d taught in Sunday school “parking,” and then have sex. He met officers instead. “It is saddening that someone would use their position within a church to maybe do this. However, I don’t want that to reflect on the church. Everybody has employees, and you can’t control what the people who work for you do once they leave your office,” said Douglas County Sheriff Chris Degase. The only reason law enforcement caught Turley is the 14-year-old girl’s mom took the initiative to look at her daughter’s phone. When she saw suspicious messages, she started asking questions. “Parents have a right to get in their kids’ phone. Get in your kids’ phone: see who they’re texting. We were very fortunate that this mother got into the phone,” said Degase. Investigators say Turley, who is married with a 4-month-old baby, also communicated with the girl on Facebook, where predators find easy access to impressionable youth. “If they’re going to have one, make them produce the password and username to get on there,” said Adler. Law enforcement say Turley also confessed to sex acts with a 12-year-old and a 16-year-old, both from Douglas County. “What I know of it, I think there’s probably going to be some other victims involved in it,” said Adler. Turley is charged with one felony count of enticement of a child. Charges in the other cases are pending. Source More On Bossip! Belvedere Vodka Posts Offensive Rape Ad On Their Facebook Page Belvedere Vodka is getting some much deserved backlash on social media after they posted an ad on their Facebook and Twitter pages Friday that seems to make light of sexual assault. The ad, which shows a guy wrestling a horrified looking girl, reads “Unlike some people, Belvedere always goes down smooth.” (“Go down,” just to be clear, is a pretty obvious double-entendre for oral sex.) Belvedere seems to be learning two important lessons here. The first, and most obvious, is not to make rape jokes in your advertising. (That’s a lesson marketers should have learned long ago, and for much more subtle references to violence against women.) Their attempt at an apology, though, brings us to the second lesson learned: how not to do crisis management. After some immediate negative responses to the ad on social media, Belvedere removed it, writing: We apologize to any of our fans who were offended by our recent tweet. We continue to be an advocate of safe and responsible drinking. People seemed to be looking for a bit more than “sorry you got offended.” Forbes’ Kashmir Hill calls that “half-hearted.” The Atlantic’s Megan McArdle goes further, tweeting, “Fascinated by Belvedere Vodka’s non-apology apology, which seems to assume that most of their customers think rape is awesome.” So then, the apology hasn’t done much to lessen the anger. We’d venture a guess that Belvedere’s vodka sales won’t see much of a spike on this fine Friday night. Hard to believe anyone thought that ad would help. Slain teen Trayvon Martin was carrying a bag of Skittles and a can of Arizona iced tea when he was murdered by “neighborhood watchman”, George Zimmerman . Various sites and activists made a call to action to start sending empty Skittles packets to the police chief in Sanford, Bill Lee. We all waited to see what Skittles would do because this case directly impacts their brand. And Skittles has spoken. In a statement, a spokeswoman for Skittles said: “We are deeply saddened by the news of Trayvon Martin’s death and express our sincere condolences to his family and friends. We also respect their privacy and feel it inappropriate to get involved or comment further as we would never wish for our actions to be perceived as an attempt of commercial gain following this tragedy.” This sincere comment from Skittles was short and sweet.
