I thought it would probably be a good idea to get things started this morning with a great shot of my favorite busty British hottie, Lucy Pinder , showing off her lovely lady lumps in a nice little polka dot bikini. It seems like such a simple, wholesome picture, but when you get a closer look at it you see just how amazing it is. Trust me, I’ve been staring at it for like thirteen minutes. Those breasts are awesome.
MTV News looks back at singer’s extensive history with body art. By Jocelyn Vena Rihanna’s “Thug Life” tattoo Photo: Rihanna/Twitter Rihanna had everyone buzzing this week when she debuted a tattoo with the words “Thug Life” scrolled across her famous fingers. The flesh-colored ink was done up by Los Angeles tat artist Mark Mahoney at the Shamrock Social Club parlor in Hollywood. While the body art pays tribute to late rapper Tupac , it is certainly not the first time that Rihanna has gotten a tattoo. In fact, the singer is no novice. She’s already covered in ink, ranging from the sugary sweet to the more hard-core. She made headlines back in 2009 when she debuted a gun tattoo on her rib cage. Rihanna’s tattoo was scandalous as it came only months after her Grammy-night altercation with her ex, Chris Brown. “People are going to react all different ways,” tat artist BangBang explained to MTV News at the time, noting that it had been in the works long before the incident. “She’s great. She’s perfect. We had a blast, and we had a lot of fun.” BangBang and Rihanna have quite the history together when it comes to the many tats on her body. He is also responsible for the star tattoos on her back, the Roman numerals on her shoulder and the word “Shhh … ” on her finger. But Rihanna hasn’t stopped there. She has also been branded with a musical note on her ankle, a Pisces sign behind her right ear, the word “love” on her middle finger and a tribal tattoo on her hand. She reportedly has the birthday of her manager Melissa Forde written in Roman numerals on her shoulder: XI-IV-LXXXVI. As an homage to her perfume line she also has the French words for rebellious flower, “rebelle fleur,” on her neck. The singer also has a Sanatana Dharma Sanskrit prayer on her right hip. Reportedly misspelled, the phrase was supposed to mean “forgiveness, honesty, suppression and control,” but actually ends up meaning “long suffering, truthfulness, self-restraint, inward calm, fear and fearlessness.” On her rib cage, she also has the Arabic phrase “Al Hurria fi Al Maseeh,” which means “Freedom in God.” Proving to be some sort of billboard for sage advice, she also has the motto “Never a Failure, Always a Lesson” scrolled across her collarbone. Other Ri tats include a star in her ear and a skull and cross bone on her ankle. In fact, Rihanna loves tattoos so much that in July 2009, she was spotted giving BangBang a tattoo at New York’s East Side Ink, where he works. Owner Yadira said at the time, “We had a blast. It was so funny and cute.” When BangBang spoke to MTV News in 2009, he added this philosophy when it comes to tatting the singer: “You don’t want to be staring at tats. You want to be staring at her face.” Related Photos Hip-Hop Celebrity Tribute Tattoos Related Artists Rihanna
Nas, Snoop and Game have all paid homage to other MCs with body art. By Gil Kaufman Rihanna Photo: Rihanna/Twitter Rihanna has raised a lot of eyebrows this week with her latest body modification: a tattoo that reads “Thug Life” , in honor of late hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur. While ‘Pac had the words emblazoned across his abdomen, Rihanna opted to write them across her knuckles in what appears to be glow-in-the-dark ink. Say what you will about whether the pop princess is living the kind of rising-up-from-the-streets life Shakur was honoring by splashing the name of his crew across his stomach, but she joins a long list of musicians who’ve used body art to pay homage to fallen homeys or musical inspirations. When hip-hip hookmaster Nate Dogg died last year, his old friend and collaborator Snoop Dogg had an image of Nate’s face with the legend “All Doggs Go to Heaven” written on his arm as a remembrance of the G-funk singer. And while Faith Evans once proudly bore a heart-shaped tattoo that read “B.I.G.” in honor of her then-husband Biggie Smalls. (After the couple split, however, she added some ink so it read “B.I.G. FAYE.”) After his best friend and fellow D12 member was shot and killed in 2006, Eminem filled the space on his left forearm with a giant “Proof” tat encircled with flames. Fellow Detroit MC Kid Rock has the name of his former bandmate, Joe C., on his body as well, in honor of the hype man who passed away in 2000. Drake got in the game last year when he reportedly added a portrait of late singer Aaliyah to his collection of back ink. Well before that, Nas paid a sideways tribute to Tupac with his “God’s Son” stomach piece, which paid homage to both the fallen MC and to Nasty Nas’ nickname. But an artist doesn’t need to have passed on to get the tribute treatment, as evidenced by D12 member Bizarre’s love letter to Nicki Minaj, which he added to his collection last year in the form of a head shot of the female MC rocking blue hair. And while Game is no stranger to face-to-toe ink, he made a serious commitment in 2009 when he got the logo from producer/rapper Pharrell’s Star Trak label on his arm while he worked with Williams on his The R.E.D. Album. What do you think of Rihanna’s knuckle tattoo? Sound off on our Facebook page! Related Photos Hip-Hop Celebrity Tribute Tattoos Related Artists Rihanna
RESPECT THE BUMP!!! That should have been the theme for this season of “Love and Hip-Hop”. Considering that one of the first episodes revealed that Kimbella likely slept with Emily B.’s man Fab while she was knocked up, did it seem like karma when she informed her parents she was toting a second gut full of Juelz — with him nowhere in sight? It’s a great theme since there now seem to be bumps galore amongst the ladies. Rumor has it that Yandy is holding a gut full of Dipset affiliate ManDC (@deeone129 on Twitter) and although she’s denied it — our sources say they’ve seen her and she’s definitely holding… Hopefully he’s bringing in some big checks managing Vado because last night’s episode made it clear that Yandy is no longer employed by Jim Jones… Speaking of which, what did you think of his moms’ “Psychotic” performance? Her one-time bump – baby Jimmy may be more successful than her now but for how long? After all Nancy has a single on iTunes and her own show in the works. She’s doing better than Olivia, riiiight? The finale also saw Olivia standing her ground, turning down a sh**ty deal, even if it means she’ll have to give up her expensive shoe habit to finance her career and going head to head with Funkmaster Flex. Clap it up for her? What we are clapping it up for is Chrissy, for keeping that nice rack on display. After delivering a beatdown or two this season, she seems to be in a better place with Jimmy’s mom and is getting that TLC she so loves in the form of a trip to Montego Bay. We live tweeted the show last night though and it seemed like folks thought they spied a bump on her as well, underneath that cover up. Is that the secret to her nice rack? What is in the water over there at the “Love & Hip-Hop” set??? It’s been a bumpy road for Emily B. as she struggled to decide whether to stick to her guns or go running home to Fab. But as the finale ended she stated how much she wanted her “respect” and wouldn’t settle for less than monogamy from Fab. How long do you think that will last, once the cameras are off? Cuz we heard they’re already back together but haven’t heard anything about a wedding. Do you think she should stay or go? And speaking of staying or going — how confused were you about whether or not Kimbella and Juelz broke up? That girl talks in circles so much we couldn’t tell WTF was going on, but we did a little digging and found out that Juelz is now back with his first baby mama. Kimbella, looks like your bump is getting no respect. One last juicy tidbit for you guys. We hear there’ll be no traditional “Love and Hip-Hop” reunion because these women can’t stand each other enough to be in the same room. So instead Mona Scott Young will just do some recaps and individual interviews. We know you must be so disappointed about that. More On Bossip! Man, Spike Lee sure has a potty mouth: Spike Lee had a message for the Sundance festival crowd at tonight’s world premiere of his new film, “Red Hook Summer”: “Please tell them that this is not a motherf**king sequel to ‘Do the Right Thing’!” That’s what people had been saying, mostly to fill the vacuum of information surrounding the movie. All anyone seemed to know was that it was set in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn, that it followed a 13-year-old boy (newcomer Jules Brown) and his preacher grandfather (played by ‘The Wire’ veteran Clarke Peters), and that it featured the return of Mookie, Lee’s pizza-delivering character from his trailblazing 1989 movie about tensions boiling over in the summer heat. Lee, who took the stage for the post-screening Q&A draped in New York Giants regalia and immediately declared that the audience had “doubled the black population of Utah — maybe tripled it,” prefers to think of “Red Hook Summer” as “another installment in my great chronicles of Brooklyn,” a series that includes “She’s Gotta Have It,” Do the Right Thing,” “Clockers” and “Crooklyn.” “We never went to the studios with this film, I told you!” he shouted. “We said, ‘Were gonna do this motherf**king film ourselves and show it at Sundance…. This whole thing was planned out.” Of the studios, he added, “They know nothing about black people. And they gonna give me notes about what a young black boy and girl gonna do in Red Hook? F**k no! We had to do it ourselves!” Make sure y’all support Spike and his film! Source More On Bossip!
