TV Nudity Report: Political Animals, True Blood, The Glades [PICS]

It was shaping up to be another slow week in TV nudity, but(t) then a surprise contender in the form of USA’s Political Animals managed to deliver some bodacious body-double buns. The political mini-series featured the compellingly cleavaged real life girlfriend of Al Pacino , Lucila Sola , playing hide the cigar with an adulterous Commander-in-Chief. Now which President could his character possibly be based on? The series used a classic cutaway for the backside-baring scene, leading us to believe that the perky posterior is that of a body double. But what a body! True Blood didn’t deliver any pulse pounding skin action this week, but it did feature the ultra flexible form of professional hoofer Genise Ruidiaz in skin-tight costume. You’ll want to get dirty with that dancer! And finally the The Glades stuck to its firm non-nude policy, but we did get a little sticky when Michelle Hurd displayed her toned and taut bod in a skimpy bikini top during a work meeting. That’s some company ink you could really dip your pen into! See more pics after the jump!

Olivia Munn "Forgot" About Her Magic Mike Nude Scene [PIC]

Why, oh why did Olivia Munn wait so long to do nudity? We longed for years and years to see the Queen of Geek Chic naked, and now that she’s done a proper topless scene in Magic Mike (2012), she’s positively flippant about it. But there’s no use in dwelling in the past- let’s focus on the future. A bright, shining future full of Olivia Munn naked. Because, as we mentioned, she’s awfully casual about the whole thing. As she told New York Magazine ‘s Vulture blog: “I forgot that I did [the topless scene] until I saw it at the premiere. The way it was shot didn’t feel gratuitous — I think that’s what every actress says, right? ” “There are very few directors I would ever do it for, ” she goes on to say. ” Also, my character was getting out of the shower and to keep it as realistic as possible I didn’t wear a shirt in the shower. The day of the shoot, I locked it down. I only wanted the people who absolutely had to be there. I even cleared out video village, which you’d normally forget about. ” Video Village? That sounds like the video store we worked at in college. (Actually, it’s the area around the playback monitors where the director, producers, and key staff watch raw footage as it’s being shot.) Anyway, what were you saying about your Magic Mike character, Olivia? ” I based her on an ex-boyfriend. It’s that guy you’re dating who’s fun, cute, you have great sex, and then three weeks into it you go, ‘So, my friends are doing this little party — ‘ and he’s like ‘Whoa! What? I thought we were just having fun.’ When women do that? They’re a bitch or a slut. I wanted her to be neither. She’s a sexual person. She’s doing what she wants. ” You’ll be pulling a rabbit put of your pants with sexy pics and clips of Magic Mike star Olivia Munn right here at MrSkin.com!

Taken 2 Trailer: What He Does Best

Taken 2 hits theaters on October 5 and, don’t worry, Liam Neeson is bringing his particular set of skills back to the big screen. A follow-up to the surprising 2008 hit, which established Neeson as a really surprising action star, the sequel will find his character of Bryan Mills going after his kidnapped ex-wife (Famke Janssen’s Lenore). It will also find him kicking, punching and shooting a whole lot of people in order to bring home his loved one. That’s just how Bryan Mills rolls. It’s what he does best, as he says below. ‘Taken 2’ Trailer: Five Key Scenes

Liam Neeson is back as international badass Bryan Mills in a brand-new trailer for the hotly-awaited ‘Taken’ sequel. By Josh Wigler Liam Neeson in “Taken 2” Photo: Liam Neeson has a very particular set of skills. Skills that make him a nightmare for people like you — unless you’re a fan of ex-CIA operatives who remain unreasonably badass in their golden years. In that case, Neeson is something of a dream come true. The Oscar nominee remains in perfectly hardcore form in the first official trailer for “Taken 2,” the sequel to the 2008 action flick that kick-started a surprising new phase in Neeson’s career. Since his turn as former spy Bryan Mills in the Luc Besson-produced thriller, Neeson has become the go-to guy for older-man-kicks-so-much-ass action movies like “The A-Team,” “Unknown” and “The Grey.” But it’s “Taken” that remains the decisive favorite for Neeson fans, and seeing him run around in that particular world once again is the action-movie equivalent of comfort food: a bit familiar, yes, but gloriously so. Here are five key scenes from the “Taken 2” trailer. A Job for Boris the Blade When you need a vaguely Eastern European bad guy to add gravitas to your film, call Rade Serbedzija. With bad-guy credits including “Snatch,” “24,” “X-Men: First Class” and more, he’s the man for the job. In “Taken 2,” he’ll be the one giving Mills hell, concocting an elaborate scheme to get revenge for his son, who was killed by Mills in the first “Taken” film. “He slaughtered our men,” he scowls in the trailer. “Our brothers. Our sons. We will find him. And we will have our revenge.” Family Reunion Our villain’s vengeance will take him and his men to Istanbul, where Bryan’s ex-wife Lenore (Famke Janssen) and daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) pay him a surprise visit. Bad timing, considering the spit-storm headed Mills’ way. But there’s a silver lining: Bryan’s relationship with his daughter seems much smoother than ever before, and it even looks like he might have another shot at love with Lenore … assuming they survive their next ordeal. Phoning It In The “Taken 2” trailer is fantastically familiar, even if the tables are somewhat reversed this time: It’s not Kim being taken, but Lenore and Mills himself. When he gets on the phone to once again instruct Kim on what to do next, his directions are different, but the tone remains the same. With Mills and Lenore at the mercy of terrorists, it’s going to be a whole new ball game in “Taken 2,” their lives depending heavily on help from … Saving Grace Traditionally the character who mucks everything up for her surrounding cast (see “Lockout,” “Breaking Dawn,” “Lost” and so many more), Maggie Grace will finally get her opportunity to shine as a bona fide badass in “Taken 2.” She’s seen in the trailer jumping from rooftops and facing down guns with (almost) no tears, a marked improvement from the Kim of the last “Taken.” But as she told MTV News just a few weeks ago, Kim is “empowered … [but] she doesn’t morph into La Femme Nikita.” So temper your expectations just a little bit. “You’ll Just Have To Die” Frankly, Kim doesn’t really need to step up her game. Even if he’s captured early on in the film, Neeson’s ex-spook won’t be sitting on the sidelines throughout the proceedings, as the trailer clearly illustrates. He spends the final few seconds of the trailer breaking necks, shooting thugs and making explicit death threats over cell phones, as he’s wont to do. Old dog, same tricks — and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Tell us what you think of the new “Taken 2” trailer in the comments section below! Related Photos ‘Taken 2’ Trailer: Five Key Scenes

To Woody With Love: Woody Allen’s 9 Most Entertaining On-Screen Surrogates

Woody Allen has cemented an historic onscreen legacy by managing to play a grand total of one single character for the last 47 years. (What versatility!) Needless to say, it’s been one hell of a character: Allen’s extreme version of himself, trading on some of the most base cultural stereotypes out there about New Yorkers, Jews and intellectuals, has, logically or not, repeatedly held mainstream America’s interest. Yet, in a halfhearted nod to the idea of variety, Allen hasn’t always played the character himself – due to the constraints of age, style, and physical type, he’s occasionally enlisted actors to come in and do their best Woody Allen imitation over the years. With a new addition to the coterie coming in To Rome With Love – Jesse Eisenberg is a neo-Woody if ever there was one – it’s worthwhile to take a look back at Allen’s nine most entertaining surrogates. Kenneth Branagh, Celebrity Could the staid, withdrawn nature of British mores and culture – or those of the Irish, for that matter – be any further from the traits needed to play the Woody character effectively? It seems like a counterintuitive choice, but going with Branagh for the Woody surrogate in Celebrity (one of Allen’s more underappreciated films) was a smart choice; Branagh’s natural composure collides in an interesting way with the foregone conclusion of the character’s neuroses and tics. The result is a performance where Branagh is restrained on the surface while seemingly jittery and anxious underneath – a more subtle and surprisingly effective way of making Allen’s comedy work. Jason Biggs, Anything Else One of Allen’s most maligned pictures, it’s this writer’s contention that Anything Else has received an undeservedly bad rap. Sure, the chemistry between Biggs and Christina Ricci is closer to producing liquid nitrogen than hot sparks, but there’s plenty of great one-liners, and Allen himself steals the show. Biggs, one of the least skilled actors to portray a Woody alter ego, is nevertheless entertaining in a performance that paints the character in even broader, more direct strokes than Woody’s on-the-nose performances normally do. It’s as far from subtle as can be, but the broadness and directness of Biggs’ choices sometimes serves to let the delivery of Allen’s bon mots swing for the fences. Larry David, Whatever Works Could there be a more appropriate Allen surrogate under the sun than uber-neurotic Larry David? The cultural connection between the two couldn’t be more apparent; Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm could never have been seen as potentially viable in mainstream America without Allen’s career success. Giving his performance far more vitriol than what Allen is capable of, David revels in the misanthropy that is present, but often more subtly disguised, in Allen’s films. John Cusack, Bullets Over Broadway This is what happens when a talented, popular actor really uses their likability to channel the Woody character well. As famous as Allen is, his character’s narcissism (as well as his personal transgressions later in life) can make him difficult for audiences to root for at times. Cusack blended the typical Woody persona with his own undeniable charm to create a character who, when in a tough spot, you can’t help but empathize with. That would be good if this was a simple relationship film, but when Cusack’s character is getting into danger by dealing with gangsters, it’s more than good – it’s great.

Katrina Bowden Is Too Sexy

You only need to see one episode of 30 Rock to know that some of the best scenes involve this Katrina Bowden hottie. Not because her character is hilarious or anything, she rarely says a word, but because she’s absolutely gorgeous and she always wears tiny little outfits. Here she is in her sexy skirt on the red carpet for something. I love her. I don’t know if she’s ever done anything else, but I’d sure like to see her in some sort of softcore straight to DVD all female erotic thriller.
