Network television may not get any better than when the characters on The Good Wife are racing against the clock. On The Good Wife Season 6 Episode 11, Diane, Kalinda and company had mere hours to prove that Cary’s plea ought to be thrown out after new information surfaced: Lemond Bishop’s men were trying to export drugs to Canada, not import them, as the state had charged. But Kalinda wouldn’t accept that as fact. She actually learned how to hack into a detective’s email and make it appear as if he read a message that warned of the exportation. This is highly illegal, of course. We witnessed Kalinda wrestling with whether or not to take this step as Alicia mock debated against Peter, who acted as Prady; and as Cary received advice from a “prison consultant” (who knew those existed?!?) regarding how to act behind bars in order to remain safe. Kalinda ended up finding another way to get Cary off (no, not like that ! Although the two did have sex, at the consultant’s behest, in order to create a memory for Cary) when she found evidence of police entrapment. However, a desperate Diane, up against the clock, went into Kalinda’s computer and found the hacking evidence instead. It worked. Cary’s case was dismissed with prejudice. But we now have a pretty clear idea of how Archie Panjabi will be written off the series: either due to her illegal maneuvering here; or due to the favor she owes Bishop after getting him to protect Cary in prison. Alicia learned of the Cary decision and, armed with confidence after taking it to Peter during their fake debate, kissed Elfman on the lips to conclude the hour. Really! The first glimpse of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman may have dominated the headlines, but truly this year’s Comic Con belonged to Game of Thrones . First, we had George R.R. Martin’s Khaleesi photo which proved once and for all that the sick mind behind the Red Wedding actually does have a sense of humor. That was topped the next day by Martin’s weenies vs. boobies discussion , which was every bit as amazing as it sounds. When they’re fondly reflecting on Comic Con 2014, however, we think there’s one moment that will leap to the mind of every GoT obsessive. Fortunately, for us, it was caught on camera: Yes, that’s an estimated 47 convention-goers in Westerosi garb. There’s a lot to love here, but we think the prize for most convincing cosplay goes to the Arya Stark in the lower left corner. Seriously, is that actually Maisie Williams?! Naturally, there was a preponderance of Khaleesis on hand, but even so, this photo serves as a sort of geek-tastic Where’s Waldo? See how quickly you can spot Khal Drogo or Littlefinger! Note the perfect proximity of Jon Snow and Ygritte! We’re not seeing many Tyrion Lannisters in the frame, but we guess that’s a shortcoming of the costume (horrible pun intended). All in all, some pretty impressive cosplay on display here. Heck, some of the actors on GoT don’t even look this much like their characters: Game of Thrones Characters In Real Life 1. Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen Clarke plays Daenerys Targaryen on the hit series Game of Thrones. The show’s fourth season debuts April sixth.

After accusing Bryan Singer of sexual molestation, Michael Egan went on to detail similar assaults by other Hollywood executives. Egan is now filing suit against those men, just as he has against Singer. Michael Egan and Mother Press Conference Egan has revealed more details about the “numerous rapes” by Hollywood moguls that he allegedly endured while still a teenager. The accused have been identified as Garth Ancier, David Neuman and Gary Goddard, all of them well-known producers. Egan claims that Ancier sexually assaulted him numerous times at his Encino estate. His suits against Neuman and Goddard allege that both men are part of an underground Hollywood sex ring that preys on teenage boys. Egan told reporters at an earlier press conference that 3-4 more suits would follow in the wake of the Singer accusation. During his most recent press event, Egan was joined by his mother who sobbed uncontrollably when trying to explain why she allowed her young son to go on trips with older men. Mrs. Egan stated that her son’s lawsuits are “not about money,” but are instead “about disarming these pedophiles.” TMZ reports that Egan attempted to take legal actio n years earlier, but had difficulty doing so due to the wealth and fame of the accused. We’ll have more details on this alarming story as it continues to develop.

What’s more rare than Justin Bieber with his shirt on or Kim Kardashian not selling herself out? A contrite Aaron Sorkin. But that’s the state this producer was in last night at the Tribeca Film Festival, addressing the crowd and taking note of criticism leveled at his HBO series The Newsroom. “I apologize and I’d like to start over,” Sorkin said of the program, which stars Jeff Daniels as a cable news anchor and which has received backlash for trying to rewrite the coverage of recent news stories. “I did not set the show in the recent past in order to show the pros how it should have been done. That was and remains the furthest thing from my mind,” he explained. The Newsroom has ran episodes based around such events as the Deepwater Horizon oil and the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi. The series often seems to be taken veiled shots at how various media outlets covered those issues back in the day, depicting on a weekly basis how it should have been done. But Sorkin reiterated here that this is a “misunderstanding” of his goals for the program and said he wanted to set his characters in real-life situations. “Also, I wanted the option of having a terrific dynamic that you can get when the audience knows more than the characters do,” he said. “I wasn’t trying to and I’m not capable of teaching a professional journalist a less. That wasn’t my intent and it’s never my intent to teach you a lesson or try to persuade you or anything.” The Newsroom returns this fall for its third and final season and will cover, among other topics, the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing. The latest teaser trailer for Lars von Trier’ s sure-to-be-nudie masterpiece Nymphomaniac (2013) has hit the interwebs and already been involved in a brief scuffle with YouTube over its explicit content. The trailer was removed from the streaming site soon after its release and then later reinstated with a content warning. It’s a doozy too, featuring the fuzzy full frontal of Stacy Martin as she gets her lap licked by an older guy, then screwed by Shia LaBeouf. All this on top of the movie promo posters featuring the characters showing off their “O” faces, and we’re getting a antsy in the pantsy that Nymphomaniac has yet to set a U.S. release date.
