Although he vehemently denied the charges, he has since been quiet about the situation. However, earlier this week after performing at Cargo in London with Kanye West, the 23-year-old spoke with DJ Tim Westwood about his arrest, albeit briefly. “Man, that was just some little minor sh–, man,” Sean told Westwood. “I really wanna talk about it too, and go through the details, but my lawyer says I can’t talk about it ’til it’s all said and done.” Big Sean (born Sean Anderson) and his friend Willie “SayItAintTone” Hansbro were both charged with forcible touching, unlawful imprisonment and sex abuse by a woman after a concert in Lewiston, New York, on August 4. The G.O.O.D. music MC had just performed on the same bill as Wiz Khalifa as part of the Rolling Papers Tour. Moments earlier in the conversation with Westwood, the “Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay” rapper again recalled his excitement at being nominated for the Best New Artist for his single “My Last,” featuring Chris Brown, at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards . “I found out at like 2 a.m. in the morning,” Sean said. “I called my mom and was like, ‘Mom I’m nominated for an MTV award, ahhh!!!’ I was screaming and then she started screaming. We were just sharing that moment.” Big Sean and Hansbro, who were released shortly after their arrest on $500 bail each, are both due back in Niagara County Court on September 6. Dexter Isaac made a major admission yesterday: referring to an incident in Manhattan in 1994, the inmate said he was hired to rob Tupac Shakur . Currently serving a life sentence for murder, Isaac also claimed music executive James Rosemond paid him $2,500 to carry out the deed. Now, Rosemond’s attorney, Jeffrey Lichtman, is speaking out against the charges. “How anyone can take this animal’s word as true without any corroboration at all is frankly beyond me,” he told E! News. “[Isaac] is a guy who is a convicted psychotic killer, who is currently serving a life sentence without parole.” Lichtman says Isaac is conjuring up these allegations in a “desperate attempt to get out from under his sentence.” Tupac would have turned 40 years old today. Jenelle Evans pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia today. Two other charges – marijuana possession and breaking and entering, stemming from an incident last year – were dismissed after her guilty plea. Prosecutors are giving her a chance to clear her record by performing 24 hours of community service, at which point the charge will be dropped. Jenelle, who got popped busting into an abandoned house to smoke pot, was also recently arrested for doling out that savage ass-whomping . All-time home run leader Barry Bonds and his enormous head were convicted in a Los Angeles courtroom today of obstruction of justice, as it was determined he lied to a grand jury about using steroids and human growth hormone. The former San Franciso Giants star revealed no emotion after the verdict, which followed four days of deliberation. The jury was deadlocked on a trio of other charges. The case stemmed from a testimony Bonds gave in 2003, during which he denied knowledge of ever receiving performance-enhancing drugs from a Bay Area lab and claimed he had no idea that personal trainer Greg Anderson injected him with anything illegal. Major League Baseball’s Mitchell Report, however, listed over 100 names of individuals who had failed drugs tests. Bonds was among them. Federal sentencing guidelines now recommend he serve 15 to 21 months in prison, but the disgraced slugger will likely be related to home confinement instead. [Photo: Associated Press]
