Rev. Run of Run-DMC says that while he was high and eating breakfast, he came up with the lyrics for “Christmas In Hollis.” Page Six reports : He told us of the 30-year-old track, “I was in my new house that I just purchased in Hollis [Queens]. I was by myself. And I look down at my plate — it was eggs, jelly and toast. I just finished my breakfast and I wrote the rap.” “‘It was December 24th on Hollis Ave in the dark/ When I see a man chilling with his dog in the park/I approached very slowly with my heart full of fear/ Looked at his dog, oh my god, an ill reindeer.’” Added Rev Run, “I look down [at the lyrics] and I thought, ‘Wow this is crazy.’ I wrote that in like one minute.” The tune appeared in 1987 on “A Very Special Christmas,” the charity compilation album benefiting the Special Olympics with tracks by Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Whitney Houston and others. Source: Chicago Tribune / Getty Justin Crawford , a former West Virginia running back who briefly played for the Atlanta Falcons before being cut in the preseason, was arrested for having sex with a 12-year-old girl. He was charged with aggravated child molestation, sodomy and enticing a child for indecent purposes, the Ledger-Enquirer reports . Crawford was reportedly caught by his wife Chakeya Crawford, who walked in on him, exposed, standing over a 12-year-old family member in the living room. Crawford allegedly ran into the kitchen when caught denied any wrongdoing when he was questioned about the incident. “I did not see anyone having sex, or I would have called police right away,” Chakeya told the Ledger-Enquirer. However, it didn’t sit well with Chekeya, who then took the girl to her mother and had her explain what happened. The soon-to-be teen allegedly revealed Crawford woke her out her sleep and asked her to perform oral sex on him followed by intercourse. The girl was given a medical exam and a “sex assault kit” was compiled. Crawford later admitted to having sex with the girl and claimed it was her idea, Detective Mark Scruggs testified at a preliminary hearing. The former football star is being held without bond in the Muscogee County Jail. The Sunken Place MC gave out free adidas Yeezys to the kids while visiting an orphanage in the city of Masulita in the East African nation. TMZ reports that Yeezy and Kim Kardashian got permission from Uganda’s Trump supporting President, Yoweri Museveni , to used his helicopter to fly to the charity event for kids. Kim and Ye, rocking day-glo fits, were greeted with cheers, even more so when they presented the free footwear. Of course, West posted clips of the festivities on Twitter because it didn’t really happen if it isn’t documented on social media. Freeky Zekey Says Booking Dispute Was A Misunderstanding; Says He Respects Women “Dip Set’s” Freeky Zekey has hit back at a nonprofit head’s claims that he defrauded her for an appearance fee at her charity gala and then threatened her mother for the rest of the dough. Freeky Zekey said the fallout from his appearance at the “Sisters In Charge” masquerade gala last year had been a misunderstanding and said his accuser had been less than professional in her dealings with him. Earlier this week, we revealed Tamara Charles’ claims that Freeky Zekey reneged on their verbal agreement for him to Zeke to co-host her “Sisters In Charge” gala Oct. 14 and perform. Charles said she sent Zekey a $1,600 deposit to secure the deal. But instead, Charles said Zekey arrived 15 minutes before the event ended, underdressed and seemingly intoxicated. She said he hyped the crowd for a few minutes before taking pictures and speaking to “Love & Hip Hop’s” Juju, who was also a special guest. Charles said he still demanded the rest of his booking fee and threatened her and her mother until they came up with the rest. Charles also said Freeky Zekey stole her phone out of her hand, and when she got it back weeks later, it had been reset. But Zekey – whose real name is Ezekiel Giles – wants to tell his side of the story: According to his rep, Zeke acknowledged that he was late to the gala, but was under the impression that the night ended at 1 a.m., not 11 p.m. He said that most artists do not arrive at the beginning of an event, and once he got there was another performer on stage, so he waited his turn. Zekey contends that he got on stage, performed and also made a speech about the importance of domestic violence prevention. He said he asked Charles for the rest of his money – another $1,600 – but Charles said to wait until the end of the night. Zekey said it’s customary to get paid before the artist takes the stage. He said he asked her again a short time later, and she asked him to go outside with her, his rep said. He said Charles handed him an envelope, but it was less than the $1,600. He said by that time, her friends and family came outside, and her mother volunteered to give him the remaining balance. He then followed the mom in his car to a house and then to an ATM. When the mom gave him the additional money, he got on his knees and thanked her. Freeky’s rep showed BOSSIP video and photos of the rapper/hype man performing at the gala – proof that Zekey said he provided to Pay Pal, which is why he was able to keep the initial deposit. He said Charles disputed his fee with Pay Pal some two months after the event. The rapper also denied snatching Charles’ phone. He said her phone was among several phones that were on a table, and he believed it was his. His rep said he mailed the phone back to their mutual friend the following day. “Freekey Zekey has a deep respect for women, having close relationships with his fiance, aunts, nieces, etc…And he finds these accusations deeply upsetting,” his rep told BOSSIP in a statement. “He denies her accusations wholeheartedly.”

Randy Jackson Says Wissam Al Mana Verbally Abused Janet Jackson If you thought Janet’s divorce from Wissam Al Mana seemed to come out of the clear blue sky shortly after she gave birth to baby Eissa, you aren’t alone. But a new revelation from her big bro Randy Jackson is definitely illuminating the situation for us all. According to People , Randy revealed that Wissam pulled a complete 180 on Janet as soon as she revealed that she was expecting their child. He claims that the Qatari businessman became particularly verbally abusive to Janet, repeatedly calling her out of her name and becoming increasingly controlling toward the end of their relationship. “It was quite an abusive situation. It came on later in the relationship, verbal abuse and being [made to feel like] a prisoner in her own home. No pregnant woman needs to go through being called a b-tch every day. There were things like that. That’s what she went through.” Randy says that as soon as he understood the severity of Janet’s situation earlier this year, he told his sister that she had the choice to either move in with him or he would personally come to their London home and handle things himself. Randy went on to say that while on tour, Janet repeatedly breaks down in tears backstage during the show, as the verbal abuse and bullying from her ex-husband is continuing, with him using their custody arrangement as an intimidation tactic. “What you saw in Houston, it was her situation coming out, what she’s been going through. The abuse is still going on. She has custody and he, of course, allowed her to bring the baby on tour, but it’s constant harassment. This tour almost didn’t happen, but by the grace of God we’re here and we’re very prayerful.” As for why he’s coming forward and telling Janet’s story now, Randy says “enough is enough,” and it’s simply time for the truth of the matter to be made plain. “It’s not about anger or vengeance…We don’t like to put our business out there but sometimes transparency helps you. The devil thrives in darkness. I’m just here supporting her through this time. There’s a lot of pain. Janet’s been through a lot with her divorce. I’ve been through a lot, we all have.” Wow. Stars Raise Funds With “Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief” The big Hurricane Harvey and Irma relief telethon went down tonight, and stars came out en force to support the donation efforts. The telethon, organized by Bun B and Scooter Braun, featured performances from Stevie Wonder, Usher, and Tori Kelly among others, and appearances from stars like Beyonce, Oprah, Cher, and Jamie Foxx, with stars like Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled and Asahd (we’re assuming he didn’t do much speaking on the phone), Jared Leto, George Clooney, Justin Bieber, and pretty much anyone else from television, film, or music that you can think of. The benefit broadcasted live on every major network, with shows from Nashville, Los Angeles, New York and San Antonio. Celebs will be taking calls for the rest of the evening, but the charity event managed to raise more than $14 million in the hour it was live.
