But it’s clear that Brooke has been the only one taking it seriously. Stating the obvious, the family friend says Brooke has “had her fill of Charlie’s cheating and unpredictability.” She already has a new residence picked out in Los Angeles. “Brooke is not surprised by anything Charlie does at this point – she is doing what she needs to do to be a good mother to Max and Bob, and she can’t control what Charlie does,” said another pal. “She is in a really good place right now, and her main concern is the kids.” Elin can relate.
