M ost people didn’t see this coming. Many of us thought a Democrat could not win in the red state of Alabama. However,  pedophilia, homophobia and racism did not win in the deep south. The times are changing. Doug Jones won the Alabama Senate race and it was the Black vote, especially Black women, who gave him the victory. After calling the race, the CNN election panel attributed the win in part to Black voter turnout and Jones’ campaign. See below. (Photo by Justin Sullivan/Getty Images) “Gays For Trump” Plans To Sue Charlotte Pride Parade For Denying Float Trump gets no love at the Charlotte Pride Parade and a few of his gay supporters think it’s foul. According to The Grio , a group that calls themselves “Gays for Trump” is unhappy with the Charlotte Pride Parade for not allowing them to have a float for the event. They feel they are being unfairly denied due to their political affiliation. The 27-foot-long float that would have been covered in American flags, have a replica of the Statue of Liberty, “female impersonators” as well as the “most patriotic music anyone has ever heard” according to a member of  Gays For Trump, Brian Talbert. Talbert says he has no regrets about voting for Trump and is raising money right now to sue the parade. Welp! A spokesperson for the Charlotte parade says that they reserve “the right to decline participation at our events to groups and or organizations which do not reflect the mission, vision and values of our organization, as is acknowledged in our parade rules and regulations by all groups at the time of their parade application.”
