Suge Knight had another encounter with the police Friday afternoon, which is only slightly less surprising celebrity news than DMX getting arrested. Only Suge was innocent somehow! Like completely! The former hip hop mogul was mistakenly pulled over by Los Angeles cops, who even pulled their guns on him, thinking he was an assault suspect. Police had received report of an assault that took place Friday afternoon, then shortly thereafter, stopped Knight while he was driving in his vehicle. The description of the assault suspect allegedly matched the music producer’s appearance, but they soon realized it was a case of mistaken identity . Not before weapons were drawn and Marion “Suge” (for Sugar Bear) Knight agreed to go to the police station to explain his innocence, however. He was subsequently released, but he is pissed . Sources told TMZ that the police think the entire report may have been a hoax, while for his part, Knight is considering filing a lawsuit against the L.A.P.D. No offense to Suge, and not saying pulling over the wrong guy is okay or anything, but considering his track record, can you really blame the cops?

The baby will be the first for Yvette, while Jordan, now the Charlotte Bobcats owner, has three children from his previous marriage to Juanita Venoy. The duo were married 17 years before splitting in 2006. They have sons Jeffrey Michael, 24, and Marcus James, 22, and daughter Jasmine, 19, together. Jordan, 50, and Yvette Prieto , 34, tied the knot seven months ago in a lavish wedding held in Palm Beach, Fla. They’ve been together more than five years. An unarmed man seeking help after a car crash over the weekend was shot 10 times by the Charlotte police officer who’s now charged in his death. Officer Charged After Killing Unarmed Man Officer Randall Kerrick fired 12 times at 24-year-old Jonathan Ferrell early Saturday while responding to a breaking and entering call, reports say. Ten of the bullets hit the former Florida A&M University football player. Kerrick was charged with voluntary manslaughter and will appear in court Tuesday. At a news conference, family members said that Ferrell had moved to North Carolina to be with his fiancee about a year ago and was working two jobs. They said he was likely unfamiliar with the area he was driving when he crashed early Saturday. Ferrell’s mother said she was praying for Kerrick. “I truly forgive him. I pray for him. And I pray that he gets off the police force,” Georgia Ferrell said. “You took a piece of my heart that I can never get back.” Police determined the shooting was excessive and charged Kerrick. A police statement Saturday said the investigation showed that “Kerrick did not have a lawful right to discharge his weapon during this encounter.” The deadly encounter unfolded after police said the car Ferrell was driving crashed into trees off a northeast Charlotte road early Saturday morning. Police Chief Rodney Monroe said after the fact that the wreck was so severe that Ferrell would have had to climb out of the back window to escape. Jonathan Ferrell apparently walked about a half-mile to the nearest house and was “banging on the door viciously” to attract attention, Monroe said. Thinking it was her husband coming home late from work, the woman who lives there opened the door. When she saw Ferrell, she shut it and called police. Monroe said he didn’t think the unarmed Ferrell made threats or tried to rob the woman, but officers responded to the breaking and entering call. They found Ferrell nearby. He ran toward the officers, who tried to stop him with a Taser. Police said he continued to run toward them when Kerrick fired. He hit Ferrell 10 times. Ferrell died at the scene. An attorney for Ferrell’s family, Chris Chestnut, applauded police for charging Kerrick and condemning the “shoot first and ask questions later” actions.

My name is Anna, and I just found this site now, so I’m sharing my Bieber Experience that happened on May 4, 2010. I’m from Chicago, and the previous night I was sitting in my room when a notification popped up that Justin had tweeted “Oprah tomorrow.” As I read this, I had a flashback to the previous year, when I had walked past HARPO studios and a worker had kindly greeted my sister and I, telling us that if we had come just a few minutes early, we could have gotten into the show on standby. With this flashback came a plan: I begged my parents to let me skip school and go to try and get tickets on standby, and finally, my dad gave in. The following morning, we drove downtown and there was already a massive line to get inside. Everyone there had tickets, and a worker explained that they were already overcapacity and no one on stand-by was going to be let in. I was extremely disappointed, and my dad gave me the “I told you so” face. The woman in line in front of me was in the same situation, and she came up with the idea to go wait outside the garage to catch a glimpse of him in his car, so we did . Over the next 2 hours, about 5 others came. I was starting to loose hope that maybe Justin would go through a different entrance, when a couple security guards came out and made us step aside. A black limo-bus pulled up and as I glanced through the semi-tinted window, I saw a boy flip his hair. Immediately I knew it was him. The car was going to go into the garage, but Justin made the decision to step out. He was so genuine and nice, taking pictures with every single person there and signing autographs for everyone. He even answered some questions like “What song are you gonna sing?” After a couple minutes, he told us he had to go and I screamed, “Can I please have a hug?!” Justin hugged me as Kenny pulled him away and I swear I will never forget that moment. He walked in and turned around to flash one last peace sign. He didn’t have to get out of the car. He didn’t have to talk to us or take pictures. He didn’t even have to look at us. But he chose to take a minute to make our day, to make us cry and laugh, because that’s just how amazing he is. Kris Humphries may be dragging out his divorce from Kim Kardashian , but the Brooklyn Nets are reportedly on the verge of splitting from the rebounding power forward. ESPN’s Chris Broussard reports that the Nets are on the verge of dealing Humphries to the Charlotte Bobcats, receiving shooting guard Ben Gordan in return as the principal player in the deal. Kris lost his starting job many weeks ago in Brooklyn. He’s only averaging 6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. With the Nets, at least, Humphries was part of a winning organization.
