Source: Robert Laberge / Getty LeBron James’ High School Car Is Going Up For Auction One lucky fan is going to obtain a piece of LeBron James history when the Lakers star’s high school Hummer heads to an auction next week. The basketball star’s 2003 Hummer H2 is set to hit the auction block next Monday with Goldin Auctions before finally being sold on Decemeber 8, according to reports from ESPN . When he was a senior in high school, LeBron’s mother, Gloria, gave him the car as a gift for his 18th birthday. At the time of the big purchase back in 2003, The New York Times reported that Gloria registered the car, then-valued at $50,000, in her name and paid for it by taking out a loan. The Ohio High School Athletic Association investigated the car’s purchase to make sure it was not given to James by an outsider, which would have caused him to lose his amateur status by accepting “payment”. The Ohio native’s taste for the finer things was apparent even back then. James’ customized SUV features a chrome grille, 28-inch chrome rims, TVs, a JBL sound system and even a Playstation 2. This actually isn’t the first time that LeBron’s car has been up for auction before. In 2013, James’s Hummer went up for sale on eBay for $64,800 and was eventually purchased for an undisclosed amount. It has been on display at the Greater Cleveland Auction ever since. According to ESPN, the car’s current Kelley Blue Book value is only around $18,000, not including the custom additions–but of course, that’s not taking into account whose car it is and just how much value that adds. President of Goldin Auctions, Ken Goldin, expects much more in return saying it’s “definitely a six-figure piece,” referring to the Hummer.

But according to Melanie, it all started when she lost the love of her life, Eddie Murphy. If you’ll recall, Mel B was in a year-long relationship with Eddie which resulted in their daughter Angel…but ended up getting dumped mid-pregnancy and meeting Stephen Belafonte before even giving birth. As she tells The Sun , in promotion of her upcoming memoir “Brutally Honest,” Eddie was her one great love, but she lost it all over a misunderstanding. “I‘d been madly in love with Eddie and I lost him. Eddie was and still is the love of my life. He’s a genuinely decent man. It’s like a love story where we both have different versions of why it ended.” Apparently Mel and Eddie met at a dinner party and had instant chemistry. The two were in relationship bliss for months on end. Eddie even asked Mel’s mother if he could have her hand in marriage, and Mel designed a Cartier engagement ring. Everything seemed perfect…until Melanie began to question if Eddie needed to have his entire family (his mother Lillian, his brother Charlie, multiple other family, friends, and staff members) living under his same roof. Things came to a head when she discovered she was pregnant. Eddie was over the moon with the news. But then Mel suggested they purchase their own home together — 50/50 split — separate from the multiple friends and family he shared space with. Eddie said no, and didn’t feel it to be necessary. That’s when arguments began, and Mel got the idea to force his hand with the silent treatment. “I told Eddie, ‘I need a break for a few days. I need time to think.’ ‘Are you insane?’ he said. ‘What do you need to think about?’” She took her then 7-year-old daughter Phoenix and flew from LA to Leeds, ignoring all of Eddie’s repeated calls. After a few days away, she boarded the plane back home to work things out and see if Eddie was ready to look at things her way. But while she was on the way home, a TV reporter asked Eddie about the pregnancy and he had THIS to say: “We’re not together anymore, and I don’t know whose that child is until it comes out and has a blood test.” Mel was devastated, raging on Eddie. She let him know what he had done — making her look like a gold digging opportunist unsure of who her child’s father was — was completely unforgivable. “He said, ‘Well, you left me.’ He sounded cold. I explained I hadn’t, then said, ‘I’m going to have to leave you now as this is what you’ve done to me’. I was pregnant. Dumped in public and made to look like a complete and utter slut and gold digger. I wasn’t prepared for that tidal wave of vitriol crashing over me. I still can’t forget being heavily pregnant with Angel and dropping Phoenix to school and a man driving past yelling ‘Whore!’ at me in front of all those LA mums.” Sheesh. Welp, next thing you know. Mel met Stephen Belafonte…who ended up squandering her $90 million fortune, blackmailing her with forced sex tapes, beating her, etc for the next 11 years of her life… “Eddie had publicly dumped me, I’d just given birth to our daughter Angel, and suddenly, here was this man who found me attractive and said he wanted to look after me.” Yikes. Who knows how things would have worked out if these two just had a simple conversation rather than lashing out at one another like this? Anita Bugge/WireImage/Jesse Grant/Getty Images

Source: Phil Ashley / Getty L.A. Man Charged With Driving Two Autistic Kids Into Ocean A Los Angeles area man is finally jailed and charged with drowning his two kids and attempting to kill their mother after a 2015 “accident”. His arrest was delayed due to “insufficient evidence”, but last week, the FBI made it’s move after a thorough investigation according to reports. According to the NY Daily News , Ali Elmezayen, 44, allegedly killed his two children, ages 8 and 13, when he drove his car off of a Los Angeles wharf. Elmezayen purchased “several accidental death insurance policies” amounting to $6 million covering himself, his kids and his domestic partner, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Central California. The accused paid $6,000 a year to maintain that coverage, despite earning less than $30,000 a year. Sketchy AF! Reportedly Elmezayen’s domestic partner couldn’t swim and was also a passenger in the car. She was rescued by a fisherman who witnessed the crash. So sad. May those innocent children rest in peace.

(Photo by Brian Stukes/Getty Images) Meek Mil l is gearing up for possibly the project of his life. He has confirmed the release of his fourth studio LP. In an interview with Vogue Magazine the Philadelphia MC verifies that he will be dropping a new album before the close of 2018. As per HipHopDX the forthcoming but yet to be titled effort will be released November 30. He touches on the elephant in the room regarding the anticipation. “I’ve been writing myself since I was probably, what, 8 years old. I’ve been doing this a long time, so [there’s] always pressure to be better.” The “1942 Flows” rapper also discussed his case and vows to change the probation system and the severe restrictions that are often applied to minority offenders. “Probation is like, they say, to help rehabilitate you and help you better yourself coming out of prison,” he explained. “In my mind, I never felt like I was f***ed up.” Meek says probation is “trap door that’s gonna keep you in and out of the system. You don’t even have to commit a crime to go back to prison.” He also expressed his concern regarding the poor conditions in prisons which a lot of the time cause inmates to receive incremental time. “I had to f***ing almost turn into a savage myself to even stay alive.” At this time there are no further details on the album. In the meantime you can purchase merchandising bundles on his website . You can read the entire Vogue feature here . Photo: WENN.com
Source: Jim Spellman / Getty Beyoncé Pulls Ivy Park From Topshop Amid Scandals Beyoncé now owns her company Ivy Park in full, after buying it back from Topshop and owner Philip Green. Mrs. Knowles-Carter has officially bought back Ivy Park–the fitness brand she helped launched approximately two years ago–from British billionaire Philip Green. The 66-year-old tycoon owns fashion giant Topshop and he is currently facing some pretty serious allegations of sexual harassment, bullying, and racism . Ivy Park released a statement about their decision to take full ownership of the brand, saying, “After discussions of almost a year, [Beyoncé’s] Parkwood has acquired 100 percent of the Ivy Park brand.” Topshop, whose parent company the Arcadia Group reportedly owned half of Ivy Park prior to Bey’s buy-back, will fulfill any existing orders for the brand. Moving forward, fans can continue to purchase Ivy Park clothing on the label’s own website , but as of now, it’s unclear whether or not Beyoncé will shop her brand around to other retailers for another partnership. Though the Financial Times was the first to report the deal, no financial information was released regarding the deal. Do you think Bey did the right thing?
Just weeks after ending her engagement to Pete Davidson, Ariana Grande dropped a new single , “Thank U, Next.” The powerful anthem, a tribute to her exes, is smashing music records. Its lyrics have also inspired November’s hottest meme. Billboard Woman of the Year Ariana Grande keeps setting new records only to surpass them. In recent days, she’s been doing it with the same song, as she shared on Instagram. “Thank u, next has surpassed 100 MILLION streams on spotify in only 11 days,” reads a graphic shared on social media. The graphic puts that in perspective: “it is the fastest song in HISTORY to reach this milestone.” Ariana shared the image with a very grateful black heart emoji in the captions. Keep in mind that that’s only her Spotify success. It doesn’t include people listening on YouTube — or pirating it. Her record-smashing feat doesn’t include people using other streaming services. It also doesn’t include those of us who eschew streaming music and instead immediately purchased it from iTunes or Amazon. Part of the appeal is that it’s a beautiful song. The song’s real meaning also contributed to its success. “Thank U, Next” is an anthem to Ariana’s exes — to three, in particular. Ariana had an 8-month relationship with Big Sean from 2014 to 2015. “Thought I’d end up with Sean / But he wasn’t a match,” Ariana sings. Starting in the summer of 2015, Ariana dated backup dancer Ricky Alvarez for about a year. “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh,” Ariana sings. Famously, Ariana got engaged to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, and broke things off in October. “Even almost got married / And for Pete, I’m so thankful,” Ariana’s lyrics affirm. On a sadder note, she dated Mac Miller for two years starting in 2016. He died just a few months ago. “Wish I could say, ‘Thank you’ to Malcolm / ‘Cause he was an angel,” Ariana sings bittersweetly. “Thank U, Next” appeals to people as a song and as an athem. Some can relate in their own lives — they really appreciate their past loves and past relationships. Others are just Ariana Grande fans and love to hear how at peace she is with her romantic past. But it’s more than just a song, folks. It’s a meme. For ages now, social media has been filled with “one taught me love, one taught me patience, one taught me pain” posts. These posts, quoting lyrics from Ariana’s song, can do everything from critique three films or three characters or three condiments. Of course, Ariana’s release of this song such a short time after ending her relationship with Pete Davidson has fueled conspiracy theorists. There are people in the world who believes that all celebrity activities, from relationships to their art to overdoses and deaths, are a scripted facade. These are the same people who use words like “illuminati” and “Deep State” with total sincerity. So they think that for some unknowable reason, Ariana and Pete were “ordered” by, like, Beyonce or George Soros to get engaged, then split. According to this admittedly hilarious theory, Ariana had this song prepared and mixed for whenever they were ordered to break up. Why? Maybe, like, mind-control embedded in the song. It did release right before election day! Ariana being a talented and passionate musician with the resources to pull together a song quickly is apparently too simple of an explanation. There is a glaring omission from Ariana’s song — her ex Graham Phillips. They performed together on Broadway along with current Dynasty star Elizabeth Gillies. You might know Graham from The Good Wife or from his more recent appearance on Riverdale as a seriously awful dude. Our guess is that the fact that they dated in 2011, when Ariana was mostly just known as a Nickelodeon star, is a factor. Also, she probably just views Graham as a friend whom she once dated. There’s a difference between that and an “ex.” In case you were wondering if there was bad blood, we looked into it and found no evidence of hard feelings. In fact, they staged a mini-reunion this past summer with another former castmate. Ariana was probably right to narrow her scope of exes to a handful. T he police always deny that they have a racial double standard, but an experiment at a Tennessee mall tells a different story. See Also: Cops Defend Unconstitutional Stop And Frisk Tactics As HBCU President Says He Was Racially Profiled A social media post from four white women on Saturday exposed the Memphis Police and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office for racially profiling a group of African-American men, CBS News reported. This all stems from a video recorded by a former journalist that showed mall security and law enforcement officials stopping four young Black men for wearing hoodies at Wolfchase Galleria in Cordova on Nov. 3. They were escorted out of the mall with at least one of them in handcuffs. The women said they wore hoodies in the same mall without any incident. Racial profiling is a problem nationwide for Black people, but seldom is there any justice for violations. Recourse options are often limited, even when evidence suggests that discrimination occurred. Memphis residents unfortunately lack a functioning police oversight board to address their grievances in this case, Nashville activist Theeda Murphy told NewsOne. “There’s no way to do an independent investigation. In the aftermath of the mall incident, Memphis’ Black community is pushing to have the oversight board fully functioning,” said Murphy, who was involved in the successful effort on Election Day to pass an amendment to create a Community Oversight Board in Nashville that oversees the police. “If a security guard spotted us with our hoods up, they very politely asked us to take them down. One guard said it was because they need to be able to identify everybody’s faces. So we said, ‘Sure,’ took them down, walked on, and put the hoods back up a bit later. Repeat. No threats. Point made,” the Facebook post said. Here’s what happened to the Black men: Kevin McKenzie was inside the Wolfchase Galleria Mall in Memphis when he filmed a security guard at the mall detain a black teen for violating the mall’s dress code policy because he wore a hoodie. When McKenzie inquired further he too was detained. This is outrageous. pic.twitter.com/w0voiu8bth — Simar (@sahluwal) November 14, 2018 “At least a couple of those officers were Black, which shows you that it’s not a Black and white thing but a systemic thing,” Murphy said. “There’s an issue with policing and how officers are trained, how officers see who is a threat and who isn’t. It doesn’t matter if the officers are Black or white because they all get the same training.” SEE ALSO: Andrew Gillum Fires Back At Wannabe Dictator Donald Trump Stacey Abrams Campaign Files Federal Lawsuit For Every Vote To Be Counted [ione_media_gallery src=”https://newsone.com” id=”3836445″ overlay=”true”]

We don’t need magazines like Maxim, we got Instagram, and her instagram is: CLICK HERE A proper Bahamian tax invader…obviously a rich kid…which allows her the luxury of not being forced to work as a stripper…but instead as a high end stripper for brands and magazines… The post Chase Carter for MAXIM of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .
