Bella Hadid is a monster, but people seem to like her look, something I don’t really understand because I see nothing by a fake, porn looking girl who had too much disposable income available to spend at the plastic surgeon’s office on botox and fillers…she creeps me out…but people like her enough to cast her in their bullshit, or for Canadian black and white rappers to fuck her…and she’s got enough confidence from all this being rich before being a purchased model…for her to post a pic of her thong on her social media….like the shameless girl you’d expect her to be when you factor in the fact that she could be anything in the world and chooses to be a puppet the media uses to sell product no one needs because why get a job or a skill or knowledge or an education when you can have likes on a useless bullshit picture of yourself….I guess it stems from growing up not cute….before getting a stylist and making it all work…who cares… I don’t know what this garbage is – but I know people who’d want to smell it… The post Bella Hadid’s Thong Pic of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .
[Sorry. This video cannot be displayed in this feed. View your video here.] Y ou can’t deny the music and sports talent coming out of Chicago right now . Take Hyde Park’s own Vic Mensa , who burst onto the rap scene in 2013 with Innanetape, where the then 20-year-old showed lyrical ability and tons of potential. Fast forward to 2017, with one album under his belt, Mensa chopped it up with us at Blitz 2017. We got the chance to ask the rapper a few random questions, including which athlete matches his grind. His answer should come as no surprise—it’s fellow Chi-Town native Derrick Rose. Before the injuries, of course. The once highly scouted University of Memphis Tiger has been fighting fickle knee injuries since his banner MVP campaign in the 2010-11 NBA season. “Just being nice as f-ck and aggressive. I think it makes sense,” says Mensa about the comparison. Sports aside, find out Mensa’s last big purchase, and the most unique thing on his tour rider in our video interview up top.

Image via Getty Wisconsin School Forces Girls To Send Advanced Pics Of Homecoming Dresses Seriously? A Wisconsin high school is requiring that “ dress wearing students ” (see, 99.9% of women) to submit a photo of their dress before they will be allowed to purchase tickets for the homecoming dance according to ABCNews . Pewaukee High School has a strict dress code prohibiting spaghetti straps, show midriff, show cleavage or have a skirt that is shorter than fingertip length. But many students AND parents find it a bit creepy to have to submit photos of their daughters to the school. If a photo is not sent, the parents have been asked to email the principal to assure that they will only buy dresses that comply with the school’s regulations. While some are supportive of such a rule, the outrage smoldering, especially online. 17-year-old Senior Nicole Stark had this to say: “Honestly, I would much rather get turned away at the door than to have to send a picture of myself wearing a dress,” Stark said. Student mom Michelle Jenkins also spoke out against the school: “I just wish they would trust our upperclassman to have some class and represent their school in a tasteful manner,” she said. “We are obviously paying for these dresses and allowing our children to go to this dance wearing what we feel is appropriate, and I think that’s really the point here.” “Teen expert” Rosalind Wiseman weighed-in as well: “What we’re looking at is arbitrary standards that an adult gets to decide, and what that does is shame the young person and says, ‘You don’t get to belong here because of the way that your body looks,’” What do you think? Is the school overstepping their boundaries by making such a dramatic request?
Image via Nevada Parole Board pool/Splash O.J. Simpson Release Details Kept Top Secret O.J. Simpson is set to be released from prison sometime soon, but it is unlikely that we will know the date ahead of time. According to TMZ , Nevada prison officials are afraid of the media circus that will take place if news outlets know the date and swarm the facility. Furthermore, they fear a repeat of a the (in)famous chase as thirsty cameramen and helicopter pilots attempt to get a “first look” at a free Orenthal. Sources within the prison say the media has a 1 in 18 chance to even capture an image of O.J.’s release because there are 18 different doors that he could walk out of on the day he’s released. O.J. allegedly told prison officials that he doesn’t want to be seen on camera when he gets out, but that may be so that he can command more money when it’s time for his first interview. The prison wants it to be clear that THEY are the ones calling the shots as far as secrecy is concerned, NOT O.J. If O.J. leaves prison in a white Bronco , people are gonna lose it!
W ith the powerful winds of Hurricane Irma approaching Florida, some airlines are hiking ticket prices well beyond the budget of many seeking to escape the destructive storm, CBS News reports. The outlet interviewed a Vermont man, Steve McQueen , who said he spent $1,725 to fly his 87-year-old mother from Fort Myers, Florida to Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday. He told CBS that he understands what happens with last minute ticket purchases but called the price “ghastly.” Delta Airlines was publicly shamed when a prospective customer tweeted a price change from $547.50 to $3,258.50 found on Expedia.com, NBC News reported. Since that post went viral, others reported United Airlines and American Airlines for similar price hikes. Shame on you @delta . Jacking from $547 to over $3200 for people trying to evacute responsibly? #IrmaHurricane pic.twitter.com/O2nfPHQUAh — Leigh (@LeighDow) September 5, 2017 According to CBS, price gouging related to emergencies is illegal in Florida. That rule applies to hotels, gas stations and grocery stores–but not airlines. The federal government is responsible for regulating the airline industry. Exorbitant pricing complicates evacuation arrangements for students like Antonio Mercurius , an African American studies and health science major at the University of Miami. Mercurius told the Miami Herald he felt “lucky” to have purchased his flight to the District of Columbia on Monday, before the hikes. The co-founder of the student poetry collective Speak How You Feel told reporters he was concerned about the safety of others who can’t afford the increased prices: “Why is there no emergency evacuation cost? I understand supply and demand but the laws of capitalism should not operate in the times of catastrophic danger. What happens to the people that can’t afford flights now?” After public outrage over the “laws of capitalism,” some airlines began to change their tunes and prices. JetBlue set a $99 cap for direct flights out of Florida. American Airlines set a similar cap for outgoing flights. A spokesperson for Delta Airlines announced that it would adjust prices for last-minute flights, waive change fees, and accommodate more passengers with larger planes. Source: Christian Petersen / Getty Michael Bennett seemed pretty traumatized earlier this week when detailing his recent encounter with racist police who targeted him for being Black — and it judging by his recent interview, he’s still very much effected by it. On Wednesday, the Seattle Seahawks star was overcome with emotion during a press conference when talking about the Vegas police incident. He told reporters, “It sucks that the country that we live in now, sometimes you get profiled for the color of your skin.” Bennett got emotional when talking about being a Black man in America and his daughters, saying, “I try to tell my daughters every single day that they matter.” Bennett got some emotional, he abruptly left the press conference. Despite the touching moment, Las Vegas police department held a press conference of their own. The Vegas Metro Police Department say they don’t believe Michael’s incident was racially motivated and that they may have the receipts to prove it. Sheriff Kevin McMahill claims there is bodycam footage, which shows officers clearing out dozens of people of various races just before the incident with the football star. He says officers only chased Bennett when he acted suspiciously during the intense search. McMahill added, “Due to Bennett’s actions [police] believed Bennett may have been involved in the shooting and they gave chase. I see no evidence that race played any role in this incident.” You may recall that Bennett said in an open letter that police forced him to the ground and and threatened to “blow my f***ng head off.” As for the shooting that police thought Bennet may have been involved in — there was no shooting. Check out some of the footage above.
T he Trump administration and GOP lawmakers are clearly making efforts to undermine the accuracy of the upcoming 2020 decennial census, says Robert Shapiro , writing for The Brookings Institutions . Shapiro, a senior policy fellow at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, warns that the bureau’s census count “matters more than you think.” He should know. Shapiro supervised the Census Bureau in the leadup to the 2000 count. The U.S. Constitution requires a population count every 10 years. According to the bureau’s website , the federal government has conducted a decennial census in years ending in “0” since 1790. The 2020 Census could be wildly inaccurate—and it matters more than you think, writes @robshapiro https://t.co/Mru5q2qMO2 pic.twitter.com/KtgFhyMOIQ — Brookings (@BrookingsInst) September 1, 2017 Shapiro pointed out that the count determines the allocation of the House of Representatives’ 435 seats, as well as state and local legislatures in many jurisdictions. Having an accurate census also determines how the federal government distributes funding to state and local governments for a range of public services, including education, various state health care programs (including Medicaid), and housing—to name just a few. At the same time, state and local lawmakers also depend on the bureau’s data for their programs and effectiveness assessments of those programs. “Without an accurate census, many states and cities will be denied the full funding they deserve and need, and the federal government will have to fly blind for a decade across a range of important areas,” Shapiro stated. The increasing prospect of a bungled 2020 Census is really concerning, and not just to data nerds like me. https://t.co/GdImShZsLD — Nathaniel Rakich (@baseballot) September 1, 2017 These data are also used outside government. Shapiro underscored that companies, from retailers to real estate developers and banks, use the demographic information for planning and investment, as well as to locate customers. At this point in the 10-year cycle, Congress should begin seriously funding the bureau’s work. Shapiro said it’s expensive to count the nation’s more than 300 million residents accurately. That requires not just technology purchases but also includes many other needs, such as leasing local offices and training workers. The Economist reported that legislation is pending in Congress that would appropriate just $1.5 billion for 2018–about $300 million short of the bureau’s needs. It’s in such peril that the Government Accountability Office added the 2020 census to its high-risk projects, the magazine noted. In 2014, the Republican-led Congress disregarded the Obama administration’s budget requests and declared that the 2020 census “ should cost no more than the 2010 count without adjusting for inflation, or some $12.5 billion,” Shapiro wrote. The bureau has had to cut corners, by taking steps such as ending a planned Spanish-language test census and terminating tests of outreach strategies aimed at encouraging marginalized communities to fill out census forms. Since coming into office, President Trump has taken steps to hinder the bureau’s work. Shapiro said the Trump administration cut his predecessor’s 2017 budget request for the Census Bureau by 10 percent, where Trump proposes to keep it for 2018. Shapiro also pointed to a leaked early draft of an executive order circulating in the administration that would direct the bureau to inquire about citizenship status. The unprecedented directive, he said, is unlawful. Former census directors Vincent Barabba and Kenneth Prewitt urged Trump “to act quickly” in a Washington Post opinion piece. They highlight that the administration has not identified a replacement for the former bureau director, John Thompson , who stepped down in June in apparent frustration with politicians making his job difficult. “The immediate task is to nominate someone who can provide stability through the final years of the decade, explain the importance of the agency’s mission compellingly, address Congress’s fiscal concerns and be ready for full immersion in the important tasks at hand,” they wrote. What’s equally critical, Barabba and Prewitt noted, is to increase funding for 2018 and “ramping up further in 2019.” SOURCE: Brookings Institution , The Economist , Washington Post SEE ALSO: Whites No Longer Majority By 2050, New Census Data Predicts Civil Rights Coalition Tells Census Bureau To Stop Displacing Minority Prisoners [ione_media_gallery src=”https://newsone.com” id=”3358541″ overlay=”true”]
