Que rico… Sofia Vergara Drops $10.6 Million On New Beverly Hills Mansion Via Realtor Sofia Vergara can now have her entire modern family living under the same roof if she wants to. Vergara, best known for her role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on the ABC sitcom “Modern Family,” recently splurged on an 11,400-square-foot mansion-estate in Beverly Hills. The Real Estalker reports that she paid $10.6 million for a gated villa-style compound in early February. The property, located a few minutes south of the Franklin Canyon Reservoir, had listed for as much as $12.5 million when it came to market in September 2013. Though it was built in 2006, Vergara’s new spread exudes a certain old-world charm thanks to a range of materials imported from Argentina, artisan work and other intimate finishes. It has seven bedrooms, including an upstairs master suite with his and hers appointments, and a total of 11 baths. Of its many modern conveniences, standouts include a wood-paneled study, a large chef’s kitchen with a center island, and a finished lower level designed for entertaining with a 3,000-bottle wine cellar and tasting room, a movie theater, a card room, and a gym with a sauna. Outside, the grounds have mature trees that provide privacy for a large pool and spa. Two maid’s quarters and a laundry room can also be found on the more-than-half-acre grounds. According to the Estalker, prior to her big purchase Vergara had been living in a modest-by-Hollywood-standards three-bedroom condominium unit in Century City that she purchased for $1.1 million in 2007. According to Radar Online: Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida will be in court in just a few weeks to finally face charges of bank fraud and identity theft. But in the meantime, he hasn’t stopped trying to make a buck. After shilling autographs online for $6.99, now he’s aimed higher: RadarOnline has exclusively learned that the shameless reality TV star has demanded $2,000 to attend a charity event for battered women and children — and he wants to be paid up front! Chase DeCarlo of Dio Bambini, a charity for battered women and children, tells Radar exclusively that he approached Nida, along with fellow RHOA castmate Kandi Burruss, to attend an event raising money for the fund. “At first I thought he would do it for free,” DeCarlo says. “His people were saying … he wouldn’t mind appearing.” But that quickly changed. DeCarlo says, “At first it was like, ‘Ok, I’ll do it for $2,000.’” Then, DeCarlo says he bargained him down to “about $1,200. It’s still a lot, but we’re still in discussion. He just sent me a contract for $2,000!” “We’re trying to get Kandi to come too, and she said she would come for free,” DeCarlo reveals. “I’m still talking with my people to see if it’s worth it getting Apollo to come at all. We have people with a better background willing to do it for free, so I don’t know.” “I’m really, really leery that his court date is before the event,” DeCarlo says, especially since Nida wants the money up front. “It makes sense why he’s pressuring me and wanting me to book him.” “I feel like I’m trying to book Beyonce!” DeCarlo jokes. The former Olympic champion and current reality TV patriarch visited a local convenience store near the Kardashian family compound in Calabasas, Ca., Monday. His transformation? Even more apparent than in the past couple of months … Bruce Jenner: Gaunt, Long-Haired The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 64, appeared gaunt but upbeat as he purchased coffee and several packs of cigarettes, reports indicate. With his shoulder-length ombre locks and reduced Adam’s apple, the Bruce Jenner sex change rumors will no doubt resurface after this outing. Such chatter has been dismissed as ridiculous, but he did have the apple shaved down, and a source says he has “has always been obsessed with his looks.” Bruce, for all his fame and fortune, has “never felt comfortable in his skin.” He’s also uncomfortable at home at times. Though currently separated from wife Kris Jenner, Bruce is still a family man who still makes time for his kids.
