Time for this lyin’ azz broad to pay her penance… Shannon Richardson Pleads Guilty To Send Ricin To Obama Via ABCNews A Texas woman and former actress pleaded guilty Tuesday to sending ricin-laced letters to President Barack Obama and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, under a deal that her attorney has said would cap prison time at 18 years. Shannon Guess Richardson entered her plea in federal court in Texarkana, Texas, to a federal charge of possessing and producing a biological toxin. Richardson was arrested in June after authorities said she tried to implicate her ex-husband, Nathan Richardson, after he had filed for divorce. Prosecutors say Shannon Richardson mailed three letters from New Boston, outside Texarkana, then went to police and claimed that her husband had done it. The letter to Obama, according to a federal indictment, said: “What’s in this letter is nothing compared to what ive got in store for you mr president.” Prosecutors say investigators noted inconsistencies in Richardson’s statements and later learned that she had purchased materials online to produce ricin, a toxin that can cause respiratory failure if inhaled. Richardson, 35, has had minor roles in the television series “The Walking Dead” and the movie “The Blind Side.” She also is the mother of six children — including one child born prematurely while she was in custody this year. Her attorney, Tonda Curry, said last month that she and prosecutors agreed to a deal capping Richardson’s sentence at 18 years. Prosecutors say Richardson faces life in prison for the charge to which she pleaded guilty. Good riddance, beyotch!

There are still good people in this world . Woman Finds Kidney Donor On Facebook With all these crazy news stories, it’s nice to see something positive like this. According to WFLA: Facebook is usually a place you go to find friends, but a New Port Richey woman went on the social media site to find a kidney. Christine Curti, 50, needed a transplant after she was born with only one kidney. Across the country, in San Diego, CA, Valerie Maupin, 24, wanted to donate a kidney to her friend’s mother, but learned that she wasn’t a match. “I had 6 people either tested or reviewed and they were all turned down for one reason or another,” Curti said. Eager to donate, Maupin searched Facebook and contacted a group dedicated to finding kidneys for those in need. “I’m healthy, I’m young, I’m active, if I can save somebody’s life with just something as simple as this, I should,” Maupin said. The group helped Maupin and Curti connect with each other. The women then met in Gainesville to test Maupin’s compatibility with Curti. The results were encouraging news, doctors said Maupin and Curti were a good match. The transplant took place on Nov. 13 and both women, once strangers, now share a bond they say will last a lifetime. Social media is powerful. ABC

Over the last few days, members of Reality Television’s First Family have gotten even more naked than usual. There’s been a Kendall Jenner nipples sighting via Instagram, while Kim Kardashian is topless in her fiancee’s latest music video. Might this not be a coincidence? Might Kendall and Kim be giving fans a tease of something very special (and naked!) to come? It’s the end of an era. The pioneering desktop MP3 player Winamp, which so many of us grew up playing illegally downloaded tunes on, will soon be no more. Yes, it is actually still in existence. But won’t be as of December 20. In a world dominated by iTunes, “the first reaction to Winamp’s closure might be surprise that it still exists in the first place,” says the Wall Street Journal. That it does. AOL acquired it in 1999, just two years after its creation, and when it was as hot as it gets, with its $80 million purchase of Nullsoft. The AOL subsidiary has even continued tending to the once-venerable MP3 player, releasing updates and versions for Mac OSX and Android. Winamp made its announcement as it released its latest, and last, update to Windows. This and other versions will still work after December 20, AOL said. However, “Winamp.com and associated web services will no longer be available” and “Winamp Media players will no longer be available for download.” 🙁 Winamp became a ubiquitous piece of software when Napster exploded onto the scene in the late 1990s. Once you got your music, that’s what played it. As popular as it was then, it’s that scarce now. The general consensus among fans today is that they didn’t know it was still around. Not shocking, as AOL essentially killed the player a long time ago. When AOL bought Winamp and music-streaming service Spinner, it aspired to be really big in music, and create within its four walls the next MTV. But when AOL threw the two companies together, putting Spinner in charge, the lack of guidance and resulting culture clash handicapped both. Between 2002 and 2007, Winamp was an asset that “AOL knew was valuable but didn’t know what the f–k to do with,” according to one insider. AOL made matters worse by insisting that the entities be subservient to AOL’s email-internet-portal service – not popular with Winamp’s base of fans. Apple’s iPod and iTunes were the final straw. The X Factor Top 10 took to the stage last night, with contestants covering a wide range of artists. There were takes on Elton John… One Direction … Queen… and The Beatles, just to name a few. But were any of them actually any good? That’s the question we’ll try to answer below… Rion Page – “Your Song” Jeff Gutt – “Bohemian Rhapsody” Tim Olstad sang John’s “Sorry Seems To Be the Hardest Word” and seemed to lose all control when he stood up and walked away from the keyboard. Not much originality or emotion here. Jeff Gutt went all “Bohemian Rhapsody” on viewers, after talking about his son once again in his introduction video. It was okay. But the songs requires the right kind of theatrical performer – and Gutt isn’t him. Khaya Cohen finished in the Bottom 3 last Thursday and tried to make up for that with “Let It Be.” But the staging was very odd and there was far too much yelping. That’s never a good thing. Josh Levi told us that “Sweet Dreams” were made of this and it was a solid vocal performance. As usual, though, it was also over-produced, as the artist starting off in a red telephone booth for some reason. Still, points for being in tune. Alex & Sierra sang “Best Song Ever” and it was terrific. These two are our favorite. They improved on the original version. Rion Page was a close second, dedicating “Your Song” to her baby brother. Her best vocal to date. Josh Levi – “Sweet Dreams” Alex & Sierra – “Best Song Ever” Carlito Olivero used holograms for his rendition of “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction.” That was plaid weird. The singing itself wasn’t too awful, but not much really stood out. Except for the holograms. And that isn’t a compliment. Lillie McCloud did great work on “This Woman’s Work.” She brought the emotion to Kate Bush’s classic track and nearly made Kelly Rowland cry. Ellona Santiago went with Ellie Goulding’s “Burn” and lacked any real passion while doing so. Some pitch problems also plagued this performance. Restless Road wants to “Fix You,” per Coldplay. Too bad the harmonies were all over the place, making us wonder why Simon Cowell gave the group a standing ovation. Oh, right, he’s their mentor. What a dumb concept. Who was your favorite from the evening? And who do you foresee going home tonight?

Rumors are running rampant this week that Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are back together, or getting back together, following his split with Eva Mendes. But, like The Notebook , is it more romantic fantasy than reality? Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams Back On? It makes sense that the masses want Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams back together ? If they didn’t, this isn’t a planet we’d want to be living on. It’s also understandable how the rumors popped up. The heart throb actor is said to be on the rocks Eva Mendes, if not broken up with her completely. Given that, and the fact that Rachel McAdams still exists? A glimmer of possibility was born. A dream was renewed. Hope, once again, sprang eternal. The only problem with the scenario? There’s little evidence to support the idea that it’s actually happening, no matter how much you might will it to. First, his alleged split with Eva Mendes has not even been confirmed. Second, despite reports that Ryan and Rachel are spending a lot of time together recently, the contrary appears to be the case, as she’s in Hawaii filming. Number of Gosling sightings reported there in recent weeks? Zero. The so-called “couple” has not been seen in any public capacity in forever, so the idea of a romance, great celebrity gossip as it may be, is a stretch. There is always a chance, though, and maybe not even that slim. Although things didn’t last between them, they did manage to save their friendship. Ryan recently said that Rachel is “one of the great loves of my life.” SWOON. Whatever happens next in their personal notebook of life, there will always be something between them. Eminem and his ex-wife, Kim Mathers, have recently reconciled and may even get back together in the romantic sense, a surprising new report says. It’s just Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams style wishful thinking, either. Kim’s mom, Kathy, recently spoke about the couple’s close relationship. Kim Mathers’ mom says the two see each other “all the time” and “get along better than ever,” and he’s currently building her a new home in Macomb, Mich. “She has been clean all these years, she just takes care of her family. She’s doing very well,” Kathy said. “I think they might get back together soon.” Eminem, 41, and Kim Scott met as teenagers. They got married in 1999, divorced in 2001, married again in 2006 and got divorced the same year. Their tumultuous relationship was marred by allegations of violence, drug use and infidelity, as his fans know via songs like 2000’s rage-filled “Kim.” All hope is not lost, though, as the couple clearly has a strong bond. Marie Hartter, grandmother to Eminem’s adopted daughter and Kim’s biological daughter from a previous relationship, Whitney, is also optimistic. “They will probably grow old together one way or another, as much as he says he hates her in his music, he loves her that much too, I feel,” she said. “I think it’s kind of like throwing gas on the fire ,” Marie adds. “I’ve always felt that that was each of their one true love. I think they just met very young.” Eminem and Kim were most recently seen together when their daughter, Hailie Scott , was crowned Homecoming Queen of Chippewa Valley H.S. Hailie stepped out at the event with Kim Mathers , while her dad reportedly watched from inside the school so as not to overshadow her big moment. Think Em and Kim should give it another shot?
