In case you’ve been trapped in a cave without Internet access for the past few weeks, Justin Bieber’s new album came out TODAY. It’s available RIGHT NOW. We won’t be offended if you run off and purchase it. Are you back? Okay. Good. In promotion of “Believe,” Justin called in to Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning and addressed a number of topics, first confirming that, yes, he did pen the track “Maria” after the Mariah Yeater baby scandal. “I couldn’t really talk about it when it was happening,” Bieber said of the tabloid circus. “Every interview I was like: ‘I can’t really talk about it.’ So, to be able to actually talk about it on the album is really awesome.” Why include the song on the CD? “People didn’t forget about it, it was still in the headline news. So, to be able to talk about it and really say my side of the story and really just express myself, I feel like that was the best way to do it.” Among many other subjects discussed by the Biebs… Which of his two fragrances does Selena Gomez like best? “I think she might like Girlfriend. I think my fans needs to go out and check it out and see what they think.” How has he remained so successful? “I always want to prove people wrong, of course, when people see someone come up so fast, and so young, singing pop music, they think how long can this really last? But, I was 15 when I recorded ‘Baby.’ So, I was young and I’m growing and I’m evolving and I’m changing. I have so many great mentors that I’m looking up to, to just help me be the best that I can be as an artist. I don’t see myself going anywhere for a long time.” Does he really have a studio in his van? “Yeah, it’s basically not for singing, but for me to make tracks and stuff, like a keyboard, and Logic, which is the program to make the stuff with.” Who are his influences? “I look up to different people as far musically, like Michael Jackson is someone who I look up to, but as far as in my personally life my mom is someone who I also look up to. Meek Mill Speaks To XXL Magazine About The Brawl Between Chris Brown And Drake Throughout all the reports of the wild, bottle-throwing brawl between the entourages of Chris Brown, Drake and Meek Mill at New York City’s W.i.P. nightclub last week, Meek has remained relatively silent. That is, until now. The MMG rhyme slinger exclusively talked to XXL about the entire incident, including that he and Brown spoke right after the melee and are cool with one another and refuting reports that he bashed the R&B star with a bottle last Wednesday night (June 13). “Chris and Drake, them two was there but its other people that be around that take shit to the next level,” Meek exclusively told XXL. “Things just happen in the club. I seen girls in there throwing bottles, all types of shit. All types of people. I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle and I was there.” When XXL asked Meek if he threw a bottle during the melee, the Philadelphia MC offered two words: “F**k no.” So does that mean Karrueche and her oochie-coochie crew were chucking champagne arcoss the club?? A woman was severely burned Monday after being doused in gasoline and lit on fire outside a 7-Eleven store in South Florida in a dispute with the father of her child, police said. The 34-year-old woman was waiting in her silver Mercedes at the store shortly before 3 a.m., Boynton Beach Police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said. She was meeting her ex to pick up her 4-year-old son for whom they share custody. Roosevelt Mondesir, 52, arrived in his white Jaguar without the boy and began throwing gasoline on the unidentified woman’s car and body, according to a police affidavit. She tried to run away, but police said the man chased her with a knife and then ignited her. In graphic surveillance video, a man can be seen threatening a woman with a large knife, struggling in the doorway of the store. “Get away from me!” she can be heard shouting. They disappear from view until she returns in a massive fireball, screaming and running around the parking lot. What the hell is REALLY going on in Florida?? Source

Gianni Versace’s Miami Mansion Is On Sale For $125 Million Talk about living in style: Casa Casuarina, the former home of the late fashion designer Gianni Versace, has just hit the market for a whopping $125 million. Though the price tag may seem unnaturally steep to most, for this level of luxury real estate, it’s no surprise. The world famous home, built in Miami Beach in 1930, sprawls across 19,000 square feet. It features 10 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a 54-foot-long pool lined in 24-karat gold and ornate, Medusa-emblazoned front gates (the same gates at which Versace was fatally shot in 1997). “This is not only the most well-known property on South Beach,” says listing agent Jill Eber of Coldwell Banker, “it’s also known worldwide for its attention to detail throughout every room, its elegance and its style.” Its link to one of the world’s most iconic fashion designers probably doesn’t hurt, either. Versace bought the home and its adjacent lot in 1992 for just under $10 million, and then invested another $33 million in the property. The haute couture designer added a 6,100-square-foot south wing, a mosaic-covered courtyard, frescoes on the home’s walls and ceilings, and the aforementioned gold-lined pool. Three years after Versace’s death, telecom entrepreneur Peter Loftin purchased the property for $20 million and turned it into a luxury boutique hotel with restaurant. The multi-million-dollar listing joins a slew of former homes of late celebrities currently on the market, including Michael Jackson’s California chateau, Beatle George Harrison’s Swiss manor and Amy Winehouse’s London apartment. Is this really the same guy who used to stand out for his scandalous quotes and catchy beats? And now he’s been reduced to desperate cliche of dating Kim Kardashian for publicity? Bored Facebook Users Tuning Out Site?

Facebook’s botched IPO might be the least of its problems. Surveys say that while it remains the undisputed king of social media, a significant number of users are bored and tuning out the site these days. According to a new poll by Reuters and research firm Ipsos, roughly a third of Facebook users, and climbing, are feeling increasingly “meh” about it. The poll of 1,000 Americans also showed that 80 percent of Facebook users have never purchased a product or service because of an ad on there. Whatever advertising techniques companies are currently using to grab your cash simply isn’t working, in other words … not good news for Zuck. Unsurprisingly, the survey found that users between the ages of 18-34 were the most active, while just 29 percent of people over 55 are on it. People who spend a great deal of time on the network are more frequently becoming victims of what the researchers call “Facebook fatigue.” This leads them to spend less and less time checking in with friends and browsing the profiles of their peers, instead turning their attention elsewhere. Snooki Moves Out Of ‘Jersey Shore’ House

 has moved out of the “Jersey Shore” house and into an adjacent space where she can focus on impending mommyhood. “It’s not a prison,” MTV’s executive VP of programming and head of production, Chris Linn told Entertainment Weekly about the legendary “Shore” house. “I know she’s concerned about the perception of her being a pregnant woman in a party house. I think that’s a common experience among a group of friends when somebody gets pregnant. This is an opportunity to see how she deals with it and how the rest of the house deals with it. The show has always been about following what’s really happening in their lives.” That move is just one of the changes Linn said viewers will see when the sixth season of “Shore” hits the air. As Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino told MTV News in an exclusive interview , he’s hitting the shore clean and sober for the first time and plans on making it out to the usual hotspots like Karma while keeping the partying to a minimum. Jenni “JWoww” Farley is in a committed relationship with her beloved tattooed gorilla, Roger and Snooki’s sidekick, Deena Cortese is spoken for as well. “They’re starting to take those next steps into adulthood,” said Linn. “What’s going to be different this season is how much their lives had changed.” The “Shore” kids made their Seaside Heights home-away-from-home last week after an 11-month hiatus, the longest in the show’s history. And, after just a few days in the house, as promised, Snooki packed up her fuzzy slippers and beloved Crocodilly and moved next door. Though it’s the fighting, drinking and hook-ups that have made “Shore” an international sensation, Linn said producers are not worried about the big life changes their cast has gone through over the past year. “I don’t think anybody expected Snooki to be the one to blaze that trail, but she is, and it’s going to change the dynamic with everybody else,” Linn said. “She’s just as funny, if not funnier, than she’s ever been.” Among the other changes: a planned skydiving excursion had to be scrapped due to Snooki’s pregnancy, but executive producer SallyAnn Salsano said that doesn’t mean we’ll suddenly be watching Vinnie and Pauly D sitting around reading Proust and discussing the European financial crisis. She said the upcoming season will be “a different kind of entertaining,” with lots of jokes about Snooki’s pregnancy and Mike’s sobriety. “It’s like a high school sex-ed video gone insane,” she said. Flaming Lips Enlist Grace Potter, Neon Indian In O Music Awards Record Attempt

Band is aiming to top Jay-Z’s live concert record during the June 27 O Music Awards live stream. That seems to be the thinking behind the Flaming Lips ‘ efforts to gather an army of musical cohorts to help them take aim at Jay-Z’s record for the most live concerts in 24 hours. As part of a record attempt that will take place over 24 hours during the June 27 O Music Awards , the Lips will try to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records by playing shows in eight different cities. We can now reveal that they will get some support from an eclectic group of musicians that includes festival favorites Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, modern bluesman Gary Clark Jr., country singer Hunter Hayes, and indie rock acts Givers, New Fumes, Neon Indian, and Grimes. Beginning June 27, the O Music Awards will play out across all of MTV’s screens and linear networks in the form of the world’s first 24-hour award-show live stream via a historic and hectic bus ride through the Mississippi Delta, the birthplace of rock and roll. Two-time O Music Award nominees and multiple Grammy winners Flaming Lips will board a vintage tour bus named Endeavor and zigzag across the region in an attempt to break the world record currently held by Jay-Z for the most live concerts in 24 hours. More support acts will be named soon, and each will play a full set before making way for the Lips to take the stage for their mini-sets with unique collaborations and special guests. Tickets for the shows go on sale Thursday (June 7) and can be purchased through the individual venues. Partial proceeds from the show will be donated to VH1’s Save the Music Foundation . Also, the entire show will be streamed live on OMusicAwards.com and accessible on all platforms including mobile and tablets. “I don’t remember if I was asked or if I volunteered. … But I’ve accepted the job of not driving but commandeering the Magical Mystery Merry Prankster bus,” Lips frontman Wayne Coyne told MTV News. “I’ve accepted the attempt at breaking the world record of performing eight shows in 24 hours. And I’ve explained to the music freaks at MTV, VH1 and CMT that I am not a host. … But I always liked the way Jerry Lewis would get all sweaty toward the end of his yearly telethon. To play and sing Flaming Lips songs at eight in the morning, well … I’m open to new experiences.” During the 24-hour live stream, 24 awards will be presented to winners. Fans can vote now up until the show via the O Music Awards website in a wide assortment of categories that include Must Follow Artist on Twitter, Best Online Concert Experience, Most Adorable Viral Star, Fan Army FTW, Best Music App and Digital Genius Award. Nearly 10 million votes have been cast since voting kicked off on May 23. You never know what’s going to happen on the live stream, where the Lips will be constantly “on,” as cameras follow them on the bus, on the stage and everywhere in between. Along the way, the band will meet up with fans and presenters who will dole out awards and, of course, deal with all the pitfalls and unexpected detours that a multi-state road trip entails — flat tires, stops at musical monuments, and perhaps the occasional music-making special guests and hitchhikers. The day before the big show, June 26, the Lips will release a physical version of The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends, the previously digital-only album featuring unique collaborations with Yoko Ono, Nick Cave, Bon Iver, Ke$ha and an exclusive new track recorded with Ghostland Observatory’s Aaron Behrens.
