Joe Jonas Covers Lady Gaga!

Joe Jonas played an acoustic set in Los Angeles yesterday, and the crowd when gaga for the singer. In return, he went Gaga for his fans! In promotion of his upcoming solo album, Jonas helped open a new Microsoft store at the Westfield Century City with a live set of music. He did so by covering “Edge of Glory,” a rendition that earned Joe the following Tweet from the Lady herself: Swoon! Nick Jonas singing The Edge of Glory. On my way to press conference in Taichung, listening to it. So dreamy! No one will ever argue that this past weekend was Pixar’s best, as Cars 2 opened with a solid but not overwhelming take and a fairly dismal critical reception. But there is a bright spot: the teaser trailer for next year’s Pixar summer film, the fairy tale Brave. The teaser is now online, and it is a small piece of beauty. Check it out below. My Sarah Jane: Doctor Who Stars Pay Tribute To Elisabeth Sladen

If you’re a Doctor Who fan, this last week has been a bit bittersweet for you. On the one hand, you’ve got the terrific new season (or series, if you’d like) that just premiered last night. But on the other hand, you’ve had to deal with the sudden, untimely death of Elisabeth Sladen , who played Sarah Jane Smith, the ne plus ultra of the Doctor’s companions. And now Doctor Who players from past and present — including Matt Smith, David Tennant, John Barrowman, Daniel Anthony, Anjli Mohindra, Tommy Knight, Katy Manning and Russell T. Davies — reminisce together about Sladen and Sarah Jane in a short special that aired last night on the CBBC. Check it out below.

On Wednesday , Warner Bros. released a slew of stills from Green Lantern , most highlighting star Ryan Reynolds’ CGI -enhanced physique (and ridiculous-looking Gatling gun). Of course Reynolds’ Hal Jordan isn’t the only star in this big-budget franchise starter — the CGI creation that is Tomar-Re as gets major placement, too… and he’s voiced by Oscar-winner Geoffrey Rush ! Though you won’t find that bit of info on this new character poster. Click ahead to check it out.
