Chit Chatter: Royce Reed Talks Who She’s Dating, Squashing Beef With Former Cast Members And Life After Basketball Wives

Royce Reed Speaks On Life After Basketball Wives Former Basketball Wives cast member Royce Reed has been putting in her 2 cents from sidelines every once in a while as the show continues on in her absence and now she’s speaking out in detail about her post-reality tv life. Royce recently sat down with VH1 to dish on her company Fantashique, her baller-boo Dezmon Briscoe (who is apparently still in the picture), which of her ex- cast mates she’s no longer beefing with, and more. Check out their chat below: via VH1 Blog What’s new with you professionally? Fantashique is definitely thriving. We have ninety five members in the Orlando branch, and we have six companies and four competition teams. We also just expanded to Atlanta and have plans to expand to five cities in five years. Other than that, I’m still working on my second book, I know I keep putting it off and people keep asking me about it…..but it’s coming sooner or later.” Fantashique has a strict code of conduct when it comes to the young girls who take dance lessons with you. You have grade expectations and social media rules for all your girls, which is impressive. This generation is very, very scary. The stuff we go through with these girls is more real that saying “Oh, you’re talking about me?” [Being on the show], I felt like I was being a hypocrite, because I’m on a show where there’s like, constant fighting, and yet I’m sitting here trying to voice something different. As much as I enjoyed the checks, it wasn’t worth contradicting myself and doing something I didn’t really believe in. I felt kinda like I was selling my soul. I was totally fine with the way I went out last season, you saw me doing my career, you saw me being me. Hmmm. Interesting to hear Royce say she felt like she was “selling her soul” for her 15 minutes and a paycheck. Did you think she left the show at the right time? Hit the flip for more from her interview, including which of her former frenemies she’s patched things up with and details on the status of her relationship with NFLer Dezmon Briscoe.

Someone We Actually Like: Chef Roblé’s Food Tang Clan Got Some Heat For Your Kitchen With “Grubbin’ Problems” [Video]

Chef Roblé has combined his love of food with his love of hip-hop to form a new rap group — the FoodTangClan. Check out their song “Grubbin’ Problems” below: Here’s some info on the project: Caterer and celebrity chef, Roblé Ali, star of Bravo TV’s hit show Chef Roblé & Co., is renowned for his culinary skill and creativity, and he is set to make his mark in the entertainment field as well. As part of the parody rap trio Food-Tang Clan, Roblé, along with Chef Roblé & Co. co-star and culinary co-conspirator Ché “Gravy” and food enthusiast Jason “J. Brew” Brewster, released their first single, “Grubbin’ Problems,” on SoundCloud.com this week. “Grubbin’ Problems,” a creative and humorous take on A$AP Rocky’s “F—–g Problems,” offers listeners a look at one of the dilemmas faced by foodies the world over: too many temptations in the kitchen, pantry, and elsewhere. Whether it is trying to resist the allure of their own creations or those of store-bought snacks, Food-Tang Clan hilariously details the many culinary delights they love in this send-up of the rap hit. The group uses clever rhymes, lyrical ability and knowledge of all things culinary to bring entertaining, light-hearted rap songs to music fans. Opening for 2 Chainz—who did the hook for the original “F—–g Problems”—Food-Tang Clan performed for the first time on Saturday, February 23 in their hometown of Poughkeepsie, New York at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center. The group entertained the crowd with “Grease,” a wicked spin on Trinidad James’s “All Gold Everything.” From stuffing and gravy to the remedy for a girl who cooks “wack chicken” to a shout out to the beloved Hostess Twinkie, “Grubbin’ Problems”—which can be found on Soundcloud offers listeners a tongue-in-cheek peek into the kitchen of Food-Tang Clan. The group, which is produced by Slimmy Neutron—Ali and Aahmek Richards serve as executive producers—plans to release a series of music videos and a mixtape, Watch the Stove, in the coming months. More information on Food-Tang Clan can found at @FoodTangClanNY. We love this! Hit the flip to watch a video with more info on the group and clips as well as the full lyrics to “Grubbin Problems.”
