Miley Cyrus: Pantsless on Twitter!

Miley Cyrus was busy on Twitter this weekend. In the wake of her parents’ divorce, the singer posted a photo of herself, her sister and her mother (aka the Baddest Bitches in the world !), seemingly taking the side of Tish over Billy Ray in their recent split . But Miley also spent time in Chicago to promote her latest single at B96’s SummerBash… and also to make clear her utter disdain for pants. Check out the racy image here: Miley is featured on the cover of Billboard this month and goes off in detail about her reputation. Among the notable quotes: She is not the white Nicki Minaj . She can’t be told what to do right now. Her new album will have a rap twist to it. She is putting her music about friends and loved ones right now.

Shots Fired: Kanye West Throws Shade At Youtube And The Paparazzi, “They Ask Me Dumb*** S***T All The Time”

Kanye hates everything, but himself. Kanye has got to be one of the most narcissistic celebrities ever. Everybody bugs you? Maybe your just an azzhole that needs an attitude adjustment. Truth be told ever since his momma died, his music has gone downhill. Kanye West Slams Paparazzi And Youtube According to The Daily Beast “[I hate YouTube because] the player is so ugly, and it’s presented in such a terrible manner. I want everything I do to be presented in an art context, as this is a form of sonic art. I was an artist originally, I have been in art school since I was five-years-old. I got scholarships to three art schools, Art Institute of Chicago, Saint Xavier, and the American Academy of Art, where I ended up going–and I dropped out because I had an assignment where I was supposed to do an ink painting or something, and I would take two weeks to do it, and when I looked at my work, I just felt that I would never be one of the great visual artists of the world.” ( I just felt like I would end up like–and this is no knock to anybody that does this–but I felt like I would end up working at an ad agency or something like that. I wanted to make something of impact. I found that when I would drop samples, my friends would react to it more. I felt that I had a real talent in chopping and appropriating music.” He also offered an interesting take on the state of popular culture and art. “Right now it’s a fight against the separation and constant dumbing down of culture, and I’m standing in the middle of it. So if you know what people say are my lowest moments, those moments where I sat and saw them try to dumb down culture, and I would not allow it to happen on my clock. So when I used to go to fashion shows with my boys and we’d be eight deep, it was almost like a civil rights, like a sit-in. They wouldn’t even let us in. They had no idea what rap would mean to this world, what rap would mean to the art world. Before the Kendrick Lamars and the A$AP Rockys, it was Kanye West in a hotel room at the Le Maurice getting a ‘no, no, no, no’ to every single fashion show. But I thought it was so important to get close to the artists who worked so hard on making a usable form of art–like this furniture right here, like everything that is in all these rooms that inspire us so much–and I fight in my position of being a very commercial celebrity boyfriend, I fight to push culture forward every chance I get. And I only frown because paparazzi ask me dumb*** s**t all the time, and I think about changing the world, and I think about what I can do to make things better. And, without further ado, I want to play you guys my new album. It’s called Yeezus.” Kanye needs to focus on the birth of his child and chill out. It’s not that serious homie. Family Guy Spoofs Girls, Gets Dirty for Emmy Campaign

For the consideration of Emmy voters around the nation, Family Guy has released a new print ad. And it makes those Family Guy quotes uttered every Sunday night seem downright tame by comparison. The campaign takes aim at HBO’s Girls and features the Fox sitcom’s characters posing like Lena Dunham , Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet. But it’s the tagline along the top that really gets your attention: “Here’s a load of comedy to shoot on your chest.” Will voters respond to these racy tactics? Nominations for the 2013 ceremony will be announced on July 18.

Pregnant Boy Ads: As Unexpected as Teen Pregnancy!

Another day, another controversial ad campaign firing peeps up online. Move over, happy prostitute ads . Step right up, pregnant teen boys! The campaign, by Chicago Department of Public Health’s Office of Adolescent and School Health, features the tagline, “Unexpected? Most teen pregnancies are.” Teen pregnancy in Chicago is 1.5 times higher than the national average. Fortunately for miscreant boys, they can’t get pregnant. Unfortunately, they’re getting called out in these ads for being deadbeats and shirking responsibility. The point, of course, is to show that “teen parenthood is more than just a girl’s responsibility,” something the men of Teen Mom don’t exactly drive home. Looking at you, Adam Lind and all you other douchebags. This dude obviously isn’t knocked up, but he should be knocked around a bit if he doesn’t step up and think with his brain instead of his … you know. You get the provocative, online buzz-worthy point by now. So remember, hornball teens: Pull and pray does not actually work. No glove, no love. Wrap it before you tap it. Double bag it if you have to. Be safe. You’ll be glad you did, lest you end up like Jenelle Evans .

Get Well: Nelson Mandela In Serious Condition In South African Hospital With Severe Lung Infection

Again??? Sweet baby Jesus. Nelson Mandela In Serious Condition With Lung Infection Via NYPost Former South African President Nelson Mandela is in “serious but stable” condition after being taken to a hospital to be treated for a lung infection, the government said Saturday, prompting an outpouring of concern from admirers of a man who helped to end white racist rule. Mandela’s wife, humanitarian activist Graca Machel, canceled an appearance at an international forum on hunger and nutrition in London on Saturday, citing “personal reasons,” said Colleen Harris, a spokeswoman for the meeting. Mandela, who is 94 years old, was treated in a hospital several times in recent months, with the last discharge coming on April 6 after doctors drained fluid from his lung area after diagnosing him with pneumonia. He has been particularly vulnerable to respiratory problems since contracting tuberculosis during his 27-year imprisonment under apartheid. “During the past few days, former President Nelson Mandela has had a recurrence of lung infection,” said a statement from the office of President Jacob Zuma. “This morning at about 1.30a.m., his condition deteriorated and he was transferred to a Pretoria hospital.” It said Mandela was receiving expert medical care and “doctors are doing everything possible to make him better and comfortable.” Zuma wished Mandela a quick recovery on behalf of the government and the nation and requested that the media and the public respect the privacy of the former leader and his family, the statement said. “We need to hold our thoughts and keep him in our minds,” said Mac Maharaj, the president’s spokesman. “He is a fighter, he has recovered many times from very serious conditions and he will be with us. Let’s pray for him and help him to get better.” Let’s all pray for Mr. Mandela’s health. Image via AP Continue reading

Please Stop The Violence: 13 More People Shot Overnight In Chicago As Annual Shooting Toll Continues To Rise

13 More People Shot Overnight In Chicago The spree of Summer violence in Chicago is underway and doesn’t seem to be getting any better. At least 13 people were reported shot yesterday in the gang via Chicago Tribune A man was shot multiple times in the Sheridan Park neighborhood last night and left in critical condition, one of at least 13 people shot across the city Friday and early Saturday morning, officials said. Paramedics took a 25-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, according to Chicago Fire Department Chief Juan Hernandez. In a separate incident tonight, at least three people were shot in the 5900 block of South Wood Street about 7 p.m., according to authorities. One man shot in the torso or abdomen was taken in serious-to-critical condition to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, while another man was taken in fair-to-serious condition to Holy Cross Hospital, according to the fire department and police. Another man, whose age wasn’t available, was shot about 8:18 p.m. in the 5400 block of South Albany Avenue in the Gage Park neighborhood. He was shot all over his body and police said he was in stable condition. A 25-year-old walked into West Suburban Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his ankle about 7:10 p.m., Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said. In earlier attacks Friday afternoon, two teenage boys were shot in separate incidents in the Cragin and South Shore neighborhoods, authorities said. A 16-year-old boy was stabilized and taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital following a shooting where a group of boys or men in a white SUV drove up, stopped and at least one person got out and shot at the boy, hitting him in the leg. The boy was believed to have shouted out slogans for a gang he belongs to as the SUV drove up, and those in the SUV belonged to a rival gang and shot him after he shouted the slogans, a police source said. Earlier in the South Shore neighborhood, a 15-year-old boy was taken to Jackson Park Hospital with his condition stabilized after he was found wounded, according to the fire department. Early Saturday morning, two men were shot in the East Garfield Park neighborhood in an attack witnessed by paramedics driving through the area. They’re both in serious-to-critical condition. A couple minutes before that, a 23-year-old man was shot in the buttocks and taken to Roseland Hospital. Two others were shot in their legs early Saturday morning in the 3800 block of West 28th Street in the Little Village neighborhood. An upside down crown — a gang symbol inverted and meant to show disrespect — was painted on a dumpster across from where the two were shot. Police said both men were gang members who did not cooperate with investigators. There has to be some way to stop this madness from happening every year. SMH! Continue reading
