Kristin Cavallari Baby Bump: Sort of Revealed!

Kristin Cavallari sent photographers swarming to nab the first photo of her pregnant baby bump the other night, but would you even know the difference? Seriously, had she not announced she’s pregnant , we’re not even sure the picture below would even generate the obligatory pregnancy rumors online. In any case, here she is at Wednesday’s This Means War premiere … “Such a fun movie,” the expectant reality star, 25, Tweeted afterward. “Here is a pic from last night’s premiere and [you] can see a little baby bump.” Debatable, but she’s not far along right now, and it’s a nice thought! Paz De La Huerta Won’t Return to Boardwalk Empire

She turned our short logs into long piers skin numerable times over two nudity-filled seasons, but now Paz de la Huerta (or at least her character on Boardwalk Empire , Lucy ) sleeps with the fishes. Or maybe she ran away to Chicago, who knows? Point is, after [SPOILER ALERT] spilling the beans on her married baby daddy Nelson van Alden ( Michael Shannon ) to her ex-lover Nucky Thompson ( Steve Buscemi ), Lucy went out on a formula run from which she never returned. Paz was conspicuously absent throughout much of Boardwalk ‘s second season, and amid her many public scuffles and rumors that she was “difficult” on set, it’s not much of a surprise that she was written out of the show entirely. But we haven’t seen the last of Paz. Her new movie Nurse 3D is currently in post-production, and considering s he posed naked for the poster , we predict plenty of de la Hootage in Mr. Skin’s future. Check out the breast of Paz de la Huerta right here at MrSkin.com!

‘Ferris Bueller’ Super Bowl Ad: Pop-Culture Cheat Sheet

We take a closer look at the many references to ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ in Honda’s commercial. By Eric Ditzian Matthew Broderick in his Honda CR-V commercial Photo: Honda Did you catch everything there was to see in the “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”-inspired Super Bowl ad ? Perhaps there were some references you didn’t pick up, some callbacks that went unnoticed. Maybe you just want to go back and watch, again and again, what is sure to be one of the night’s most talked-about Super Bowl commercials . So go right ahead with the help of MTV News’ pop-culture cheat sheet: Sick phone call : In the movie, it was Ferris’ buddy, Cameron Frye (Alan Ruck), who picked up Ferris’ call to plead that he was too sick to leave his bed. In the ad, Ferris receives the call. Walter Linder : His agent’s name in the commercial is the name written right above the name of Abe Froman — the sausage king of Chicago — at the restaurant Ferris and his pals crash. Pencils and Wite-Out : Bored secretary Grace (Edie McClurg) spent much of the film sniffing Wite-Out and picking pencils out of her hair, so note the pencils and Wite-Out prominently displayed on Linder’s desk. Baseball : The ball Broderick’s agent tosses in the air calls to mind both the ball Ferris caught at the Chicago Cubs game and the one he flung at his stereo to kill the fake snores at the film’s end as his parents approached his room. Roeman, Peterson & Frye : The name of Linder’s agency, etched in glass on his door, is a reference not only to Froman, but to Cameron Frye and Ferris’ girlfriend, Sloane Peterson (Mia Sara). “He bought it” : After Ferris successfully fools his parents, the first line he utters to camera, much like in the ad, is, “They bought it.” Later, he pops off another classic line referenced in the ad: “Incredible. One of the worst performances of my career, and they never doubted it for a second.” Opening curtains : After Ferris successfully fools his parents, he thrusts open the curtains in his bedroom and wonders how he can be expected to go to school on such a gorgeous day. Yello’s “Oh Yeah” : Though the song plays in the commercial as Ferris opens the curtains, it doesn’t play in the film until the first time we see the Frye family Ferrari. Twisty towel : Both Ferris and Matthew’s preferred post-shower getup includes a robe and a twisty towel on the head. “Broderick, Broderick” : A callback to one of the film’s most famous lines, in which Ferris’ dry-as-toast teacher (Ben Stein) takes attendance and, in a ridiculous monotone, says, “Bueller? Bueller?” Rottweiler : The dog sitting by another Honda outside the hotel is a Rottweiler, the same breed of dog the Buellers own and which terrorized Principal Edward R. Rooney (Jeffrey Jones) as he attempts to bust Ferris. Detroit Red Wings jersey : On the roller coaster, the man behind Ferris is wearing a Red Wings jersey, the same one worn by Cameron in the movie. Grace : The woman who calls Broderick while in the Honda is named Grace, another reference to Ferris’ school secretary. Exaggerated coughing : When Broderick coughs loudly while on the car phone, we thought back to the call Ferris made to some high school freshmen, during which he used a keyboard sound effect to make it seem like he was literally coughing up a lung. Who’s in the driver’s seat? : As Broderick pulls up to a stop in his car, he discovers he is right next to Linder. He quickly hides behind a stuffed panda. In the film, Ferris finds himself stuck in traffic right next to his dad and switches places with Sloane. Trench coat and clarinet : Look closely during this scene and you’ll see a man playing the instrument, a nifty callback to Ferris’ activities early in the movie. SOCHOIC : Broderick’s license plate refers to the way Ferris describes the Ferrari: “It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.” Natural History Museum : Instead of attending the Art Institute of Chicago as in the movie, Broderick checks out the history museum. Instead of walking hand in hand with kids, he chases them. The walrus : Two references in one. First off, Ferris shouts out John Lennon early in the film, saying, “He was the walrus. I could be the walrus. I’d still have to bum rides off people.” Secondly, the staring contest with the animal riffs on Cameron’s deep gaze into “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte,” Georges Seurat’s pointillist masterpiece. Horse race : In the film, Ferris checked out a Cubs game. In the ad, Broderick opts for a horse race. Chinese parade : Whereas Ferris rocked a parade in downtown Chicago, belting out “Twist and Shout” and “Danke Schoen,” this time around, he crashes a Chinese parade. The valet : Call us crazy, but the way that valet shadily looked at Broderick, we were thinking back to the garage attendant who told Ferris to relax, because he was a professional, yet took the Ferrari on a joy ride. In the ad, the valet soon peels away from the curb and is seen racing the car off a jump. “Life moves pretty fast” : Indeed, Broderick will say it again, as he did twice during the film itself: “If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” What “Ferris Bueller” references did we miss? Let us know in the comments! Check out everything we’ve got on “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .

Pop Culture Moment #2: Tony Dungy Wins Super Bowl With Colts

Original post:

In a game where superstars of each generation set and break new records every year, it gets pretty tough to be the first to do anything, but not impossible. After all, black athletes may dominate the field but the coaching staffs (and the owner’s boxes) of the NFL have always been pretty slim on African American representatives. So when the Indianapolis Colts met up with the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI, the NFL had the chance to fill in a few gaps and did so with style. FACT: Dungy is the only NFL player since the AFL-NFL merger to intercept a pass and throw an interception in the same game While the fantasy leaguers were harping over Peyton Manning VS Rex Grossman or that the Colts hadn’t seen the Super Bowl in thirty-six years (damn!) The fact that Colts coach Tony Dungy and Bears coach Lovie Smith became the first two African-Americans to coach in the Super Bowl kinda went under the radar. But when the final whistle sounded, the Colts were now the champions, Manning was now the MVP and a former un-drafted defensive back named Tony Dungy was now the first ever African-American coach to win a Super Bowl. And even though the NFL has a lot of ground to cover as far as adding a bit more brown to the owners boxes, we’ve got to tip our hat to Tony for still finding and conquering another first. Rick Ross Birthday Bash Boasts Dr. Dre, Diddy

Miami’s Club Amnesia filled with hip-hop royalty Sunday night in honor of Maybach Music MC. By Rahman Dukes Rick Ross and Dr. Dre Photo: MTV News MIAMI — Rick Ross cemented a weekend of jet-set partying for his 36th birthday in ultimate style Sunday night at his home base in Miami, surrounded by some of his closest friends and thousands of fans. Club Amnesia was packed wall to wall with almost no wiggle room, filled with hip-hop heavyweights and club revelers watching closely, competing to get a shot of the action. Ross ascended from a chauffeur-driven black Maybach shortly after 1 a.m. with companion DJ Khaled by his side. Decked out in his signature coconut-colored silk threads, the hefty MC was swiftly ushered by his Maybach Music entourage inside the venue. Fans cheered, “Happy birthday, boss,” as an elated Ross made his way to Amnesia’s top-level VIP area, where dozens of music celebrities — including producer/singer Sean Garrett, actor Evan Ross and powerhouse producer Dr. Dre — were waiting in the wings for his arrival. Dre was easily the night’s most-talked-about guest, as the sight of him and Ross together confirmed their union after being spotted hanging out together in Miami recently. Soon after Ross, the celebrity arrivals began to flow in sync with the hundreds of bottles of Moet Rose champagne and Ciroc vodka that were delivered to his seating area. Party host Diddy showed up soon after with an entourage consisting of new Bad Boy artist French Montana, Cassie and his son Justin. Minutes later, Wiz Khalifa and girlfriend Amber Rose joined the party. “This is your night!” Diddy shouted at Ross, alongside a grinning Khalifa by his side. Ross, with Dre directly behind him, raised a glass filled with pink bubbly. As the night continued full steam, other hip-hop artists including the LOX, upstart Chicago crew L.E.P. and singer the Dream separately made their way to greet the Bawse. At one point, there were whispers that Young Money superstar Drake was also present in the building, but the Canadian MC was nowhere to be seen. One of the most-touching moments of the night was a snapshot of Ross and former business manager and Poe Boy head E-Class exchanging hugs and pounds. Class had been a longtime associate of Rozay since his earlier days, until the two had a recent falling out that ended their business relationship. Wrapping up the night in traditional fashion, Ross and his MMG family exited the empty-bottle-strewn VIP area and made their way to the stage for an impromptu performance. Ross gave the audience their money’s worth, performing hit after hit from his war chest of club anthems. “They say I’m getting money, must be Illuminati/ Talking to the Holy Ghost, in my Bugatti,” Ross rapped on the track “Holy Ghost” off his Rich Forever mixtape. “He knockin’ on the door, don’t let the devil iiiinnn.” On this night, the larger-than-life MC had his way, no doubt to be blessed with another banner year. Lea Michele for Candie’s: Cute!

First, Britney Spears. Then, Vanessa Hudgens . Now, Lea Michele. The Glee star just is the latest in a long, cute line of female stars to appear in a Candie’s campaign, as examples from her photo shoot – on behalf of the clothing brand, which is featured exclusively at Kohl’s – went viral this week. “Britney Spears is definitely my favorite past Candie’s girl,” Michele says. “Her campaign that she shot was gorgeous and she’s just such an icon, so when you pair her with the iconic brand of Candie’s, it was just, like, amazing.” “It’s just really important, I think, for fashion to be affordable because everyone should have the opportunity to wear cute things and be happy and comfortable in what they’re wearing. That’s definitely how I like to shop and how I like to think about clothes and fashion.” And this is definitely how we like to see the actress. Hot stuff!
