#KeepSosa Ashy ratchet rapper Chief Keef cried like a baby after getting sentenced to jail! Chief Keef Sentenced To 60 Days In Jail The rising teen rap star was sentenced to 60 days in jail Thursday for violating his probation from a previous gun charge — when he pointed a gun at Chicago cops. Via DNA Chicago reports: “I beg you please,” Chief Keef told Juvenile Court Judge Carl Anthony Walker. “Give me one more chance to show you. .. I am a very good hearted person. I have not picked up any more cases… That’s not my life anymore.” The 17-year-old rapper, whose real name is Keith Cozart, then he broke down in sobs. But the judge hit him with a two-month sentence, nonetheless. Keef then hugged and kissed his mother and grandmother before heading off to serve his time. Prosecutors brought the probation violation case against the Interscope Records star after he appeared in a Pitchfork.com video holding a rifle at a New York gun range. Earlier this week, Walker said Chief Keef exhibited a “clear disregard for the court’s authority” in appearing with the gun. Before being sentenced, prosecutors read lyrics from Chief Keef’s “Love Sosa” rap on his “Finally Rich” album, which debuted last month to strong sales. Prosecutors pointed to lyrics that mentioned gangs and guns, a sign that the teen was unrepentant. Chief Keef, in addressing the judge, called the lyrics “bull stuff.” The sentence means Chief Keef will have to delay touring to support his new record. You going to jail today! Keef likes to think he’s a tough guy rapper but ain’t nothing tougher than prison. Have fun and watch out for the Booty Warrior ! #KeepSosa #KeepSosa #KeepSosa

Bang! Bang! Chicago rapper Chief Keef was jailed Tuesday after a judge found he violated probation. Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, appeared in Cook County juvenile court. Cozart, 17, is on probation for pointing a gun at Chicago Police officers. Chief Keef Arrested In Chicago For Parole Violation Via Sun Times reports: Judge Carl Anthony Walker found Cozart showed a “willful disregard” of the court. He’s being held until Thursday when the judge will hold a sentencing hearing. Prosecutors said he violated his probation in June when he visited a gun range in New York. He was prohibited by the judge from having contact with firearms. His attorney Dennis Berkson argued Cozart fired a rifle on private property as part of a promotional video. He said that didn’t violate the spirit of the judge’s order. But Walker said it was no different than if Cozart handled a gun in a home. In that situation, he would have violated Cozart’s parole, the judge said. Cozart, who was sentenced to 18 months probation in January 2012 for pointing a gun at Chicago cops, was handcuffed behind his back and taken out of the court Tuesday. Cozart, who wore camouflage pants, a black-hooded sweatshirt and Timberland boots, did not address the judge or testify during the two-hour hearing. In December, Cozart released a new album, “Finally Rich.” He was in the news last summer after another Chicago rapper, Joseph “Lil JoJo” Coleman, was shot to death on the South Side. Coleman and Cozart, who were affiliated with rival gangs, were engaged in a war of words on the Internet at the time. Cozart hasn’t been accused of any wrongdoing in connection with Coleman’s killing. Chief Keef’s “music” celebrates this kind of gang thuggery. It was only a matter of time the dirty mop was going to get locked up. #KeepSosa
