Father Of Sexually Assaulted 5-Year-Old Girl Calls For Justice These worthless pigs deserve everything that’s coming to them. via MSNBC The father of a five-year-old who was gang-r*ped and dumped on a road in Pakistan’s second largest city wept as he called on officials to find and punish those responsible for the attack. “l want justice and for the culprits to be punished severely,” the 46-year-old told NBC News from the hospital in the Lahore, the capital of the province of Punjab, where his daughter was being treated. “I have talked to my daughter a little bit,” the man added. “She talks and then closes her eyes.” NBC News is not naming the five-year-old or her father in order to protect the victim’s identity. A report commissioned by Pakistan’s Chief Justice found that the child had been r*ped by a number of people. The case became front-page news nationwide after CCTV footage emerged on Saturday showing a man dumping the girl wearing a white dress on a road outside a hospital. Local police confirmed to NBC News the CCTV footage from Friday night was genuine. A hospital security guard then found the girl, who had gone missing a day earlier, and took her into the hospital.
A Charleston, S.C. couple says their family dog sniffed out abuse by a babysitter who was supposed to be caring for their seven-month-old son. Benjamin and Hope Jordan moved to the area in 2012 and hired Khan to watch their son, Finn. Khan came up clean in a background check, they say. Family Dog Reveals Abusive Babysitter “We felt like Alexis was a good fit at the time,” recalls Benjamin Jordan, but he says he soon started to get bad vibes courtesy of their pet dog Killian. “About five months into her being our baby sitter, we started to notice that our dog was very protective of our son when she would come in the door.” “He was very aggressive towards her and a few times we actually had to physically restrain our dog from going towards her.” Based on Killian’s behavior, Hope was worried enough to place an iPhone under the couch and let it record what happens while they were at work. Sure enough, they were horrified what they heard. “It started with cussing,” Jordan said. “Then slap noises and his crying changes from a distress cry to a pain cry. I just wanted to reach through the audio tape, go back in time and just grab him up.” “To know that five months I had handed my child to a monster, not knowing what was going on in my house for that day,” the mom tearfully recalled. Charleston police arrested Khan a few weeks after the couple reported the abuse, and she confessed, pleading guilty to felony assault and battery. Khan was ordered to serve 1-3 years in prison for her crimes. As part of a plea bargain that spared her an even harsher sentence, Khan will be placed on a child abuse registry and barred from future work with children. She is still not eligible for parole until after a year behind bars. “That is fantastic news to us. To know that maybe Finn’s ordeal has possibly saved another child’s life in the future,” said Benjamin Jordan. “Had our dog not alerted us to the trouble, had my wife’s instincts not said we need to make something happen, it could have been Finn that was killed by the babysitter.” “You never know.” Fortunately he appears to be doing fine despite the ordeal. The Jordans say their son is holding up well and has no lingering effects from the abuse. Let’s hear it for Killian!

Father Of 27 Kids By 16 Women Says He’s Not A Deadbeat Dad A 41-year-old Dayton, Ohio man who recently found himself on an episode of divorce court admitted to fathering 27 children with 16 different women but claims that despite his hefty number of offspring, he’s not a deadbeat dad. via Huffington Post A father of 27 kids from Dayton, Ohio was released from police custody this week after being arrested on Friday for a child support related offense. The man, Nathaniel Smith, has 12 sons and 15 daughters with 16 different women. According to The Norwalk Reflector, he pays child support for 21 of those kids. He appeared on an episode of “Divorce Court” on Friday — the same day he was arrested — with his wife, 23-year-old Jasmine Cotton. (Check out a preview clip from that episode above). Smith, who was released on Monday, told the Norwalk Reflector that he is not an absent father and pays his child support on time. “I have arrears. I am paying currently every week,” Smith said. “I love my kids. I never ran from the responsibilities. I’m not an absent father by no means. Jesus take the wheel… New Born Baby Found Buried Alive Under Trash Pile A newborn baby who was left to die in a pile of trash miraculously survived after being found by neighborhood kids who noticed movement in the trash pile. via Huffington Post Authorities are searching for the mother of a newborn baby boy who was found in a pile of trash in Jersey City. Hudson County prosecutors say the child was found Saturday afternoon near the city’s McGinley Square neighborhood. The boy was taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where a spokesman tells The Newark Star-Ledger the boy was breathing on his own. Prosecutors did not disclose how long the child may have been outside. Residents who live nearby say neighborhood children heard crying and saw movement in a pile of trash, then alerted the building superintendent, who called police. Building superintendent Arturo Rivas tells The Jersey Journal he usually kicks kids out of the courtyard where the baby was found, but this time he’s glad the teens were there. TMZ broke the story … after the couple’s nasty divorce Iverson was ordered to pay $8000/month in child support for their 5 kids. Problem is, Tawanna has gone to court on numerous occasions because A.I. won’t pay. It came to a head in July when a judge threatened Iverson with jail, unless he forked over $40,000 in back support — which he did. But Tawanna says she doesn’t want to keep running into the same problem. On August 1st she filed docs asking a judge to make A.I. cover ALL the support through October 2026 (when their youngest turns 18). Lil Hafez says “I wish a n***a would!” Via NYTimes reports : A Facebook post said to be written by the 11-year-old son of the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad, and “liked” or commented on by several people who appear to be the children and grandchildren of other senior members of Mr. Assad’s government, may offer a glimpse into the mindset of Syria’s ruling elite as the country braces for a potential Western strike in response to a chemical weapons attack on Aug. 21. It is impossible to confirm whether the Facebook account does, in fact, belong to the son, Hafez al-Assad, and aspects of it invite doubt. For example, the owner of the account wrote that he was a graduate of Oxford University and a player for a Barcelona soccer team, neither of which would be likely to appear on the résumé of an 11-year-old boy in Damascus. But those claims could also be read as the ambitions of a child, and there are reasons to believe that the account may actually belong to Hafez. The owner of the account wrote that he was a graduate of a Montessori school in Damascus, a detail of the Assad children’s lives that Vogue magazine reported in a February 2011 profile of their mother, Asma al-Assad. That article portrayed them as typical suburban children who played with remote control cars and watched Tim Burton movies on an iMac as they lounged around the family home, described as running “on wildly democratic principles.” Perhaps most significantly, the Facebook post said to have been written by Hafez al-Assad has been “liked” or commented on by several accounts that appear to belong to the children or grandchildren of other senior figures in the Assad administration. Among them are accounts that seemingly belong to two children of Deputy Vice President Mohammed Nassif Khierbek, Ali and Sally, and to three children of a former deputy defense minister, Assef Shawkat, who was killed in a bombing in July 2012. The accounts said to belong to the children of Mr. Shawkat — one of his sons, Bassel, and two of his daughters, Anisseh and Boushra — appeared to be authentic, according to a Syrian journalist from Damascus who has extensive knowledge of the country’s ruling elite and spoke on condition of anonymity, citing safety concerns. Mr. Shawkat was married to the sister of Bashar al-Assad, making these three children cousins of Mr. Assad’s son Hafez, who is believed to be the author of the Facebook post. Many of the people who commented on the post had changed their profile pictures to show portraits of the Syrian leader or his father, also named Hafez, who ruled the country for three decades before Bashar al-Assad took power in 2000. Several of them referenced the author’s relationship to the two President Assads. One referred to the author by a diminutive and familiar nickname, “Hafouz,” and complimented him for his strength and intelligence, writing that such a feat was unsurprising for the son and grandson of the past two presidents. Another commenter wrote: “Like father like son! Well said future President!” SMH. Let’s hope Hafez doesn’t get his wish.
