Bow Wow Excluded From His Daughter’s Birth Certificate

Original post:

The plot between Bow Wow and the mother of his child, video model Joie Chavis, thickens as more drama is revealed to the world. According to TMZ , Joie decided to exclude Bow Wow’s name from the birth certificate of their child, Shai, since he did not show up to the hospital during the birth of their daughter after Joie had to undergo an emergency c-section back in April. In fact, it is reported that Bow Wow didn’t show up until six days after the baby was born! Joie is also stating that Bow Wow is a fake, and is acting like he’s a devoted dad from the open letter he wrote to his fans earlier this week but was absent during their daughter’s birth. Although she obvisouly seems to have ill feelings toward the rapper, it’s reported that Joie is willing to move on and let the courts name Bow Wow as baby Shai’s father, legally, although that will be up to the discretion of the judge. Kelly Rowland’s Here I Am Celebrates ‘Year Of The Woman’

‘It’s about being alive and being happy and living life and being a woman,’ the ‘Motivation’ singer tells MTV News about July 26 LP. By Jocelyn Vena Kelly Rowland Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images Kelly Rowland got some “Motivation” from Lil Wayne for the lead single off her album Here I Am, out on July 26. The album is a mix of her R&B roots and her more recent dance-queen persona. Earlier this year, Rowland told MTV News that she knew she wanted to try a little bit of everything on the record; she didn’t want to be defined by any one musical genre. “The album is amazing. I’m so excited about the album. I’m so excited for everyone to hear the rest of the album,” she said. “For a long time, I thought about, ‘Should it be dance or should it be urban or should it be this or should it be that?’ And I was like, ‘Why am I allowing people to make me think like that?’ “It’s just about artistry, it’s just about freedom,” she continued. “It’s just about music. It’s about being alive and being happy and living life and being a woman, just feeling amazing. And from records that I did with RedOne to records with Tricky [Stewart] to even emotional songs that still talk about vulnerable things, there’s so many songs on this album that people can relate to. So I can’t wait for everybody to hear everything, the whole body of work.” Given that it seems to be the summer of the diva , and that Rowland has her roots in a famous girl group, the theme of female empowerment fittingly comes up on her album as well. “That’s what this album is about as well: It’s the year of the woman,” the former Destiny’s Child singer laughed. “You know what? We just have something that they don’t, and it’s not just one thing, it’s many. We’re always thinking. We feel. We just have extra power than they do. Sorry, we can’t help ourselves!” Are you looking forward to Kelly’s album? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Kelly Rowland

Teen Mom Season Premiere Sets Ratings Record

The third season premiere of Teen Mom may only have earned two points from our critic this week, but it resulted in a record-setting performance for the MTV hit. The episode attracted 3.65 million viewers, making it the most-watched premiere in franchise history. It was also the number-one telecast on TV among women between the ages of 12-34. In other words ( gulp! ): the next generation.

Dirty Dog Diaries: Supermodel Linda Evangelista’s Son Is The Love Child Of Salma Hayek’s Billionaire Hubby!!!

The Sperminator ain’t the only baller with “outside kids!” It has been revealed that the very banging Salma Hayek has a hubby, billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, who knocked up Linda Evangelista at the same time that he got her pregnant with their daughter Valentina. SHOCKING!!! Guess this guy doesn’t believe in rubbers. Here’s the details: The father of supermodel Linda Evangelista’s 4-year-old boy is none other than billionaire Frenchman Francois-Henri Pinault — who just happens to be the husband of actress Salma Hayek, The Post has learned. Despite Evangelista’s rep denying Pinault’s paternity when confronted with it by The Post’s Page Six back in October 2007, the Victoria’s Secret stunner came to court yesterday in hopes of hashing out a support agreement with Pinault, the father of the boy, Augustin James. The Manhattan magistrate’s court action confirms that the two-timing Pinault — CEO of the $28 billion conglomerate that owns Gucci, Bottega Veneta and Yves St. Laurent — is the daddy to two 4-year-olds by different world-famous beauties. One is Valentina, acknowledged and cared for by her parents, Pinault and Hayek, who jet between France, New York and LA. The other is Evangelista’s boy, unacknowledged by both the mogul and his actress wife, who has repeatedly insisted in interviews that Pinault has only three children — Valentina and two from his previous marriage to his first wife. Evangelista, 46, herself has zealously guarded the love child’s paternity, even lying to protect Pinault. A year after “Augie’s” birth, she was claiming in interviews that the father was “a New York architect.” He rep at DNA Model Management, Didier Fernandez, called the Pinault paternity rumor “untrue” when confronted with it by Page Six in 2007. Yesterday was the model’s third or fourth trip to Family Court, and no agreement was reached, making a fall support trial looking likely, according to a court source. Evangelista left glumly without commenting to a reporter. Pinault, 49, was a no-show, but that was due to a misunderstanding, said his lawyer, David Aronson. “We had understood that it was to be a brief, telephone conference, to bring Magistrate Troy up to date on what the status was,” Aronson told The Post when asked about the court date yesterday. Evangelista’s lawyer, William Beslow, had no comment Evangelista and Pinault conceived their boy in early 2006, when Pinault was reportedly separated from then-gal pal Hayek, whom he wed in 2009. Damn Salma, don’t be blinded by the d*ck! It ain’t the kids fault your hubby is a dirty rotten cheating moneybags scoundrel… We hope Salma’s hubby does right by that kid and that Valentina gets to know her brother Augustin. If Weezy’s baby mamas can do it, Salma and Linda should be able to also. Just sayin’. Source

Brooke Mueller Demands Charlie Sheen’s Money

Brooke Mueller was found wandering the streets of Maui this month, clutching cash. But apparently it wasn’t enough, as the ex-wife of Charlie Sheen has submitted court documents that demand Warner Bros. withhold $55,000 per month from whatever it owes the actor; Mueller is not confident he will be able to meet his child support obligations. Sheen is not actually behind on his payments, mind you. But insiders say Mueller wants to take every precaution she can and has asked the studio to wire the monthly figure directly into her bank account. Hopefully that will give the troubled star something to smile over. As you can see above, crying appears to be Brooke’s default action during every appearance on The World According to Paris . Beyonce Covers UK’s Sunday Times: “I Was Born To Be A Star”

Originally posted here:

Beyonce covers the UK’s latest edition of the Sunday Times where inside she talks about being the first woman to headline the Glastonbury music festival and being born a star. On headlining Glastonbury festival: “I am very, very nervous. But it feels so good to know I still can feel so out of my element. Yes, I saw Jay conquer Glastonbury and I was also a bit nervous because of the controversy. And he just completely took over. I saw the advice. I don’t have to ask. The best way is to see it for yourself. I’ve spoken with Bono and Edge, who’ve given me tips. And of course Chris Martin has given me tips and Gwyn’s given me tips, so we’ll see. I’ve been there behind the scenes and I had the time of my life. I hope it rains. I want it muddy. I want to ditch the heels and put on my wellies. I just want to make sure that I deliver. I’m sure it’ll be one of those memories I’ll take with me to my grave.” On her growth: “It happened gradually. I didn’t wake up one day and, one album, two albums later, say, ‘Now I’m a star.’ I had to grind it out, probably more than any artist I know. Destiny’s Child traveled in coach. We were sharing rooms and fighting over phones, even with multiple No. 1 singles. We worked so hard. Sixteen-hour days. Everything that I’ve done, I’ve worked so hard for, until my toes are bleeding. And no complaints. I think the more you have to work for something, the more you cherish it. Every time I think about doing something silly or something that’s going to be detrimental to my career, I think about everything I built and all that time I sacrificed. On fame: “I think maybe a star is born. I was born to do what I do. It’s just too natural. There are certain things I do that nobody taught me. Nobody can teach you. It’s just, you are. I feel like we all are stars.” Beyonce Makes History At UK Glastonbury Festival [VIDEOS & PHOTOS] Beyonce’s Target Commercial Gives Sneak Peek Into Her Hiatus [VIDEO]

Has Technology Made Us More Awkward?

Excerpt from:

Yesterday, as I was walking back from the train station after a long day at work, I ran into someone I knew on the way home. After we exchanged greetings and we proceeded to chat, it quickly became hard to hold a conversation as we both seemed lost in our own worlds. We had both not been expecting this chance meeting and were tired from work, but I later realized that there was more to that encounter than just lethargy from the end of the day. I had spent most of the train ride on my phone surfing the internet and reading a book, which are both very solitary activities. The bulk of my job requires me to be on my laptop, so obviously I have become very accustomed over the years to communicating online. I even find myself making lunch plans through e-mail, even though the person I’m messaging is in the same side of the building. Ordinary face-to-face contact has become an alternate reality to sites such as Facebook and Twitter, where you can post your day-to-day thoughts and send messages instantly from person to person. You don’t even have to open your mouth or leave your chair anymore to be able to ask people questions or find out about their daily life. The addition of the internet onto cell phones has also become a gateway to instant gratification and can sometimes even spawn new friendships if you are too shy to speak to someone on a more personal level. However, if you really think about it, what is technology doing to the fundamental social skills that people have to learn and cultivate? If you can’t talk to someone in person and you resort to e-mailing or Facebook-ing them, is that really the start to a healthy relationship? While there are definitely some advantages to the technology that have made communication easier in the long run, there are still some drawbacks in the way people relate to each other with this changing technology. Is Social Networking Bad For Your Child? Thinking back to even ten years ago, cell phones were less advanced and social networks were not the ultimate gathering place. E-mail was still important and frequently used, but you couldn’t access it as easily as you can with today’s rash of Smart-phones. The latter has actually become something of interest to me as of late, as I just recently invested in an iPhone. Being able to access your Facebook account or e-mail on the run can be a blessing and a curse, as having so much connectivity can be helpful, as well as distracting. While it might be great to be able to look up street directions or a song that you heard on the radio, sometimes the urge to check one’s phone for new messages can end up replacing human-to-human interaction. Despite the new distractions, I was recently discussing the merits of cell phones and computers with a friend at lunch today and we were both in awe of how we survived without them for so long. Mailing letters and stopping by at people’s houses unannounced seems foreign to us in this day and age, since the fast-paced world has made people accessible at an instant. Ways of communicating are constantly changing, yet this new evolution has left the younger generation less likely to engage in true face-to-face conversation. According to the New York Times , college students have even started using text messages as a way of resolving roommate conflicts, despite the fact that they could be discussing it right in their own room! Have text messages become the new voice, making us strangers of interpersonal connection? It’s important to take yourself away from your technology once in a while, putting away your phone and simply sitting down for coffee with a friend without distractions. Basic communication skills like eye contact and a listening ear are vital in forming bonds with other people and something we should continue to cultivate, despite the changing times with new media replacing what was once commonplace interaction. When you “unplug” yourself from the web of technology, even if for a short amount of time, there is much to be learned from simply talking to others and keeping the human aspect of communication alive. Never forget the foundation of human interaction, which involves the bare bones of creating a relationship with the other person. It is very hard to find connections through simple text, as the words have to have some emotion that only the human voice, facial expressions, and general presence can provide. By breaking the barriers that technology has built around us, using our face-to-face times as serious communication can help bring us out of our awkward funk and back into a world where machines don’t dominate our social lives!
