After less than a year of dating, Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are engaged . Even Chris’ recent ex, Anna Faris, offered her congratulations. Now, she has revealed how shockingly soon she knew about her ex’s happy engagement. Anna Faris has a podcast, because she’s a delight and fans love hearing from her. On Monday, the same day that she posted her congratulatory message on social media, she spoke on the topic. “Chris texted me this morning,” she revealed on Anna Faris Unqualified . “And,” Anna shared. “He was like, ‘I proposed to Katherine last night.’” That’s a huge bombshell of a text for someone to send — and an even bigger deal to receive. Anna included her own response: “And I was like, ‘Ahh, that’s amazing.’” “And I texted him back,” she continued. Anna told him something “like, ‘I just wanted to remind you I’m an ordained minister.’ I’m not very good at it …” A lighthearted joke is always a good way to show someone that their words don’t sting. That said, we cannot actually imagine Anna Faris officiating Chris’ next marriage. For one thing, that would be incredibly awkward for literally everyone involved. For another, we imagine that Chris and Katherine will want to form their own wedding plans. Even so, Anna sounds as close ot over the moon as one can get for their ex moving on. “I’m so happy for them,” Anna gushed on her podcast. “I knew that it was gonna happen,” she revealed. “And,” Anna said. “I love her and I love him.” She wants the best for them both “and I’m just so happy that they found each other.” From day one of their split, Anna and Chris have made their priorities clear. Their son, six-year-old Jack, comes first. In that regard, nothing has changed. But as Anna explains, Chris getting married again doesn’t make things worse for Jack. Anna told her listeners: “I so subscribe to the idea of, like, expanding, like, family and love with Jack.” “[Katherine’s] awesome,” Anna concluded. This attitude was the same a year ago. In January of 2018, Anna spoke on the topic of parenting (and co-parenting) despite their very public divorce. “I think it’s just the general idea of just making sure that [Jack’s] surrounded by a lot of love and happiness,” Anna said at the time. That’s good. Children are the first responsibility of any parent. “We’re really good at that,” she admitted. “And we have amazing friends and incredible family.” “And,” Anna acknowledged. “We have like just the most amazing resources to make sure that he feels safe and protected and happy.” Countless families lack the resources to give their child that level of security and comfort. It’s good that she is conscious of that. “And so far,” she concluded. “He is.” We really do wish everyone involved the best: Chris, Katherine, Anna, and especially Jack. Some have speculated that Anna is putting on a good face to hide more complicated feelings. One doesn’t have to want their ex back or hate his new fiancee to feel conflicted about his brand new engagement. But Anna is an actual grown-up who knows how to say the right things instead of whining about other people finding happiness. That’s only one of the many reasons for which she’s awesome.

But unlike Chance the Rapper and John Legend who have come out against the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer, the rapper blames the parents, NOT the singer himself. On social media, the rapper posted his thoughts about the highly-watched Lifetime docuseries, “Surviving R. Kelly,” which provided an in-depth look at the 25-plus-years of sexual misconduct accusations against the “Pied Piper.” The 48-year-old father admitted that he doesn’t like folks like the Savages and doesn’t believe they did enough to protect their children. “Let me tell y’all about R. Kelly. The truth is I don’t like the parents…Y’all know I ain’t gonna be on no reality show or Lifetime, I’ma be on CNN, straight up. It’s gonna get real, think about it, I’m not about to play with nobody, I’ma burn it down, I’m gonna do something,” he said. In a second video, he added this wouldn’t have happened to him. “Ain’t nobody gonna play with my kids. Straight up. You shouldn’t have even been on TV, and if you a parent, you shouldn’t be on that unless you on CNN from a jail cell.” Adding, “I don’t know if R. Kelly did it or not, that ain’t any of my business, I ain’t judging, but I’m just saying those parents shouldn’t have let that go that far. … If my kid in there, it’s gonna be all out war. Everybody coming outside, to be honest with you.” Wait…so which one is it? How can you be mad at parents for not protecting their daughters from sexual and physical violence you claim may not have happened? Pastor John Gray who’s beloved by celebs and his everyday parishioners alike, is the subject of fodder after an old sermon surfaced of him seemingly confessing to cheating on his wife Aventer Gray. In the video that’s reportedly years old but posted on YouTube this week, Gray says that they “smiled” through things although he and his wife were headed for divorce. He added that he “let some people get too close” to him which cause his wife to “set it off.” “We had to keep smiling because even though we were struggling,” said Gray. “Even though I was failing as a husband, I was already in front of the people and the people can’t really receive my brokeness because where do leaders go when they bleed? So I had to bleed alone. And what’s strange is I traveled the whole world and the Holy Ghost showed up and people got saved and me and wife just kept smiling and nobody knew we were getting ready to get a divorce. Because as long as I kept producing, nobody cared what was happening at home,” he continued. “I started listening to the wrong voices and let some people get too close. Thomas Markle has said many things about his daughter over the past several months. If you’re an avid celebrity gossip follower and/or a fan of The Royal Family, you’re likely aware that Thomas has slammed Meghan Markle as a phony. And as a spoiled brat. And as an ungrateful child. And as a total and complete ghoster who has abandoned the man who helped bring her into the world. But now Thomas has surprised many folks out there by referring to Meghan as something else entirely: A victim . It’s true: the rumored feud between Markle and her fellow Duchess, Kate Middleton, has reached such an epic level of publicity that even Thomas thinks the coverage has been unfair to his child. In a recent interview with The Sun, the Markle patriarch weighed in on the never-ending chatter of a rift between Meghan and Middleton, along with incessant talk of Meghan as a “difficult” boss. Indeed, numerous Royal staffers have resigned of late, with reports indicating that Markle’s attitude is to blame. “If there is any animosity between Meghan and Kate, they should put their differences aside,” Thomas told The Sun. He added: “I’m very upset by the criticism Meghan is getting. I don’t think she deserves it and I don’t think she is doing one third of the things she is being accused of doing.” Thomas, of course, is the one who has offered up one scathing critique after another of Meghan. He’s alleged on many occasions that he keeps trying to reach out to his daughter, but that she’s rebuffed these efforts ever since he chose NOT to attend the Royal Wedding in May. (Thomas made this decision due to heart problems; and also due to his role in a paparazzi photo scandal.) In November, however, The Sun wrote that Meghan left Kate “in tears over her demands for Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress after a “stressful” fitting. And Thomas simply thinks this claim is BS. “I’m not buying that she made Kate cry,” Thomas told the newspaper in the new interview, expounding as follows: “First off, I think Kate is a stronger woman than that. I think Kate also knows she is in a stronger power position than Meghan is. “Kate’s the hero mother. I can’t see her being that weak. No woman is who pops out a kid then walks out of hospital the same day. I don’t think she’s afraid of anyone.” Kensington Palace rarely comments on rumors regarding the Royal Family. But a spokesperson did actually come out a few weeks ago and shot down this specific allegation. No matter the beef he personally has with Meghan, Thomas agrees that the Duchess of Sussex is getting a raw deal here. “I don’t believe that Meghan is trying to hurt her in any shape or form,” Thomas said to The Sun. “But at the moment I cannot call Meghan and say, ‘What is going on? How can I help you?’ I need to know what the hell is happening and why it is happening. I need to know why she is being bashed every day.” Meghan would probably like an answer to this question as well. All this said, Thomas is still angry that Meghan won’t talk to him. But he’s saved his harshest evaluation for her husband. He and Prince Harry reportedly got into an argument over the phone just under a year ago, after reports came out that Thomas sold photos to the press. It ended with Thomas hanging up on Harry. “I feel that he feels he is above everyone else and that he has a right to talk down to people,” Thomas told The Sun. “And I cannot accept that.
