This week’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians featured Kimberly coming to the decision to have a third child via surrogate. It was a decision that carried many mixed emotions. First off, how did she come to choose her surrogate? “Finding someone you really trust is really more difficult than you can imagine,” she said of the still-anonymous young woman. “It was maybe a year before we finalized [that].” Kim gushed that the woman entrusted with carrying her child – who is 100% Kim and Kanye’s, genetically – is just “such a nice person.” “Like, she’s so easy to talk to. This particular surrogate, she was the best fit for my family so we just had to go with it and try one embryo.” Additionally, Kim revealed that an implanted embryo from a fertility procedure before her pregnancy with son Saint, now 2, was lost: “One didn’t work with me. I tried it and I lost one.” Sister Khloe then opened up about this, too. “Before Kimberly got pregnant with Saint,” Khloe said, “she had an embryo implanted in her and that embryo did not take.” “So Kim is super nervous and anxious.” Understandably so, but it appears that this time frame has passed, as later, she told her family, “We’re having a baby. A girl.” “I definitely want to keep it private. I don’t want people to find my surrogate. I don’t want people following her, chasing her.” “I really trust my surrogate,” though, she said: “I’m not trying to control her every move.” Not all is well with her inner circle, however, as Kim revealed that her relationship with Stephanie Shepherd wasn’t always amicable. The duo remain close following Shepherd’s firing as Kim’s assistant this year, but it’s clear there is some bad blood lingering. As Kim went on to discuss the pair’s up and down history, she confessed to Kourtney in an off-hand remark, “I hated Steph.” Later in the episode, Kourtney finally confirmed her relationship to Younes Bendjima to Khloe, following a little bit of teasing. Kourtney explained her reluctance to talk about the romance on the show, even as her sister prodded her, on the show. She said, “I don’t feel like sitting and airing my business. Marc Piasecki/GC Images Disney Exect Charged With Child Sexual Abuse The director of music publishing at Disney, Jon Heely, has been charged with three felony counts of child sexual abuse. The 58-year-old has been accused of sexually abusing two underage girls approximately 10 years ago. Allegedly, Heely victimized the first girl when she was 15, and according to the charges, he began abusing the second when she was just 11, which continued until she was 15. A Disney spokesman said in a statement that the company suspended Heely on Friday after being informed of the charges. An excerpt from the statement reads: “Immediately upon learning of this situation tonight, he has been suspended without pay until the matter is resolved by the courts.” The executive was arrested back in November, but booking records indicate that he was later released on $150,000 bail. On Wednesday, prosecutors charged him with three counts of lewd and lascivious acts on a child. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on Thursday and is due back in court on January 10, facing up to nine years and three months in prison if convicted. Heely has been with Disney since 1981.
In promotion of her first solo album in 11 years, Fergie has opened up in a new interview about her past drug use. And the artist has held absolutely nothing back. “At my lowest point, I was [suffering from] chemically induced psychosis and dementia,” Fergie tells the United Kingdon’s iNews about her use of crystal meth. This was back in the early 2000s, she says. “I was hallucinating on a daily basis. It took a year after getting off that drug for the chemicals in my brain to settle so that I stopped seeing things. “I’d just be sitting there, seeing a random bee or bunny.” Wow. That’s pretty crazy and intense. Fergie also says her weight plummeted to around 90 pounds during this time. The artist’s hallucinations became so serious, Fergie says candidly, that she believed the CIA, FBI and a SWAT team were following her around. She eventually sought solace in a church, the only place she felt safe and protected. But then she had a breakthrough that probably saved her life. “I remember thinking: ‘If I walk outside, and the SWAT team’s out there, I was right all along. “But if they’re not out there, then it’s the drugs making me see things and I’m going to end up in an institution. “And if it really is the drugs, I don’t want to live my life like this any more, anyway.’ “I walked out of the church; obviously there was no SWAT team, it was just me in a parking lot. It was a freeing moment.” Fergie admits the drugs were “a hell of a lot of fun” for a period. Until, of course, they weren’t. “It’s so incredible, I know. I think I must have guardian angels,” the singer says of simply being alive. Prior to this honest spilling of very personal details, Fergie made news in September for her separation from Josh Duhamel . The stars had been married for eight years when they made this announcement and they share a four-year old son, Axl. Early on in this interview, Fergie says she’s proud of Duhamel for directing a new movie and says the pair tries to FaceTime with their child as often as possible when on the road. They are clearly on solid terms. Says the singer of her estranged husband and their priorities: “I’ve just released my first solo album in 11 years, and I’m out promoting it. So there’s a lot going on. “That’s why we wanted to find our footing with our separation before we announced it publicly: to make sure we really got it together for our kid. “It’s a constant juggling act.” Considering where she’s been in the past, though, it’s something we have no doubt Fergie can figure out and make work. Rance Howard, a popular character actor and the father of Ron Howard, passed away yesterday. He was 89 years old. Ron broke the news on Twitter, making the following statement on Twitter on behalf of himself and his brother, Clint Howard. “Clint & I have been blessed to be Rance Howard’s sons,” he wrote. “Today he passed at 89.” “He stood especially tall 4 his ability to balance ambition w/great personal integrity. A depression-era farm boy, his passion for acting changed the course of our family history.” “We love & miss U Dad,” he finished. One part of Ron’s statement in particular stands out: the part about how Rance’s love for acting “changed the course of our family history. Rance landed his first film role in 1956 — he and his wife, Jean, appeared in a movie called Frontier Woman, and they even managed to get little baby Ron a part! Ron was only 18 months old at the time, but obviously it was the start of a long, extremely successful career in the film industry. And we can’t forget Bryce Dallas Howard, Ron’s daughter and Rance’s granddaughter — she’s been remarkably successful as well. None of that would have happened if it wasn’t for Rance. After doing Frontier Woman, Rance went on to work steadily all the way up until his death. Though he was never a breakout star, he really did have a remarkable career, with nearly 300 acting credits to his name. That includes a few roles in movies that haven’t been released yet, as well as movies that he signed on for but didn’t get a chance to film. With such a long, impressive career, it’s hard to pick out highlights. But he did have guest roles on classic shows like The Andy Griffith Show and Happy Days, along with Ron. Ron also cast him in several movies of his, including Apollo 13 and A Beautiful Mind. Just last week, Rance’s latest movie, Broken Memories, had its premiere, and both Ron and Bryce Dallas Howard had some lovely words to say about him. “He has an undying love of the process,” Ron said, “which has made him appreciate every day on a film or television set.” “And he’s never lost the youthful excitement for being a part of a process that tells a story that reaches audiences in different ways and reflects the work of a team of collaborators that share that excitement and that always rubbed off on me, that joy of being lucky enough to be among the storytellers.” View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2017: In Memoriam About his remarkable history in the business, Bryce said that “He’s had a 65-year career where he has never broken out as a movie star, he’s never made the money that people dream of, and yet he’s carved out this incredibly unique and remarkable and beautiful career of a character actor.” “He’s an example of that stick-to-it-ness and what that adds up to in a life.” Our condolences to Rance’s family — it’s clear he will be very missed.

We all know that Mark Salling faces prison time , but he's not the only Glee star in trouble with the law. Naya Rivera has been charged with domestic battery against her husband, Ryan Dorsey. And the alleged incident occurred in the presence of the couple's child . Almost two months ago, we told you to pop your “congratulations on your divorce!” balloons and to go ahead and eat your celebratory divorce cake, if you'd had them ready. Because Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey had called off their divorce . Naya and Ryan have a young son , Josey Hollis Dorsey. The couple had been in the process of disentangling after two years of marriage, but sometimes, couples work things out. Sometimes, partners try to work through their differences for their child's sake. However, sometimes trying to make things work — for yourselves or for a child or both — end up just making things worse. And, well, it looks like things have gotten much worse. Local news station WSAZ-TV reports that Naya Rivera has been charged with domestic battery after an alleged assault against husband Ryan Dorsey. She was arrested at home on Saturday evening, at around 9:30pm in Kanawha County, West Virginia. Ryan Dorsey told deputies that Naya had struck him in the head and lip while the couple was taking their son, Josey, on a walk down the street. Domestic violence is always a serious situation folks, but this allegation is that it took place in front of their child. That is much worse. And though we don't know the circumstances that led to this, it's reported that Dorsey presented cell phone video to the police that featured Naya's battery against him. Naya Rivera was charged after midnight (so, technically, on Sunday morning). Her bond was set at $1000 at first, but upon review of the evidence and a review of her criminal history, Naya was released on PR bond — personal recognizance. Reportedly, it was her father-in-law, of all people, who picked her up afterwards. We cannot imagine what sort of conversation they must have had on that car ride. And we still have no knowledge of what brought about this incident of alleged domestic battery. But domestic violence is very serious. Unless Naya was somehow defending herself or someone else, which no one has suggested so far, we can't imagine any sort of justification. And, again, this was reportedly in the presence of their young child. Witnessing a domestic assault can be traumatic for children. This news comes as a crushing disappointment, and not just for fans of Naya Rivera's acting roles. In the past, Naya Rivera revealed that she'd had an abortion and she also detailed her eating disorder . That took a lot of bravery. A lot of people liked that she was willing to share those parts of her story with the world. But there's nothing inspirational or educational about an accusation of domestic battery. Naya's hardly the first celebrity to disappoint us this month, but it's never good to learn that someone — famous or otherwise — isn't who you thought they were.
Former Alabama Supreme Court judge and current US Senate candidate Roy Moore has always been a controversial figure. After all, this is a man whose homophobic, racist, and anti-Muslim views earned him a reputation as a bigot even by the standards of Alabama Republicans. But despite being twice removed from the bench for ethical violations, Moore has risen through this party’s ranks to become a figure of national prominence. In September, he defeated Trump-backed candidate Luther Strange in a run-off election and became the GOP’s nominee to fill the Senate seat vacated by Attorney General Jeff Sessions. During his campaign, Moore brandished a gun onstage, blamed the Sandy Hook massacre on a lack of school prayer, and called for the impeachment of judges who have Astonishingly, it seems these views have only served to increase Moore’s popularity with his base. But now, the 70-year-old finds himself at the heart of a scandal that may cost him the support of even his most fervent supporters. The Washington Post has interviewed four women who say they were subjected to unwanted sexual advances by Moore in the late 1970s and early 1980s, when he was in his thirties and they were in their teens. Leigh Corfman tells the newspaper she was just 14 when Moore groped her and forced her to touch his genitals at his home in rural Alabama. “I wanted it over with — I wanted out,” she remembers thinking. “Please just get this over with. Whatever this is, just get it over.” Three women have independently claimed that Moore kissed them, inappropriately touched them, and plied them with alcohol when they were between the ages of 15 and 17. Moore has denied the allegations in a statement issued by his campaign team: “These allegations are completely false and are a desperate political attack by the National Democrat Party and the Washington Post on this campaign,” the statement reads. Adopting the favorite counter-argument of Trump-era Republicans, a rep for Moore added, “This garbage is the very definition of fake news.” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and other prominent Republicans have stated that Moore should step aside if there’s any truth to the allegations. Others, however, have mounted absurd defenses of Moore, including Alabama state auditor Jim Ziegler, who went viral with this asinine argument: “Take Joseph and Mary. Mary was a teenager and Joseph was an adult carpenter. They became parents of Jesus,” Ziegler told the Washington Examiner. Currently, Moore has no plans to bring an end to his campaign.
