Couple Allegedly Kills Special Needs Child, Tries To Cover It Up With House Fire A stay-at-home mom and an Iraqi war veteran are in custody today , after police found ample evidence that they my have killed their adopted, special needs teen. On March 1, the couple’s home burned to the ground with the boy still inside. At first investigators believed that the fires were caused by a wood stove, the home’s main heat source. But, after an autopsy was performed, it’s been determined that the 16-year-old was allegedly deceased before the blaze, according to the sheriff’s department. Ernest F. Franklin II, 35, and his 33-year-old wife, Heather Franklin were both charged this past Friday with second-degree murder, tampering with evidence and third degree arson. They will be arraigned on their indictments in Chenango County Court at a later date, according to the sheriff’s office. Oh, get this — According the Heather’s Facebook page, she’s pregnant right now with another child. The following is a truly awful story. Our heart breaks for everyone involved in it and everyone who has been affected by it. An Alabama woman and her eight-year old daughter died on Tuesday afternoon in separate car-related accidents… within 30 minutes and seven miles of each other. According to DeKalb County Coroner Tom Wilson, the victims have been identified as 39-year-old Julie Yates Patterson and her child, Elizabeth “Libby” Patterson. Said Wilson to The Huffington Post, detailing what transpired: “The mother’s car was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle and then about a half hour later, the daughter was crossing the road when she was struck by a car.” Wilson added that both incidents took place on Alabama State Route 117, which is located near the family’s residence in Valley Head. This highway is a winding two-lane road that runs northwest from the Georgia state line through the town of Ider into Jackson County, eventually ending at the Tennessee state line. Valley Head is a small town about 70 miles southeast of Huntsville; the impact of these tragedies has been felt by all who call it home. “It’s just a tragic, tragic thing for something like that to happen,” Valley Head Mayor Lamar Bray said on Wednesday, adding: “In a little town of 500 or 600 people, everybody knows everybody or [is] related to everybody. We just request prayers for the family, and we’ll all come together as a community.” Per The Times Free Press, family members say that Libby had recently celebrated her birthday and that a school bus had reportedly dropped her off minutes before the fatal accident. Al.com also reported on the accident that killed Julia, writing that the crash injured at least two other people, both of whom were transported to an area hospital. Their conditions are unknown at the moment. The driver of the vehicle that struck and killed Libby was not injured. Wilson told The Huffington Post in a quick interview that the small rural community is “mostly in shock and disbelief.” He added: “It’s quite a coincidence. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it.” On Thursday morning, an account at Gofundme.com went up to help pay for funeral expenses; to date, it has raised nearly $2,000. This is what it says on the home page: Most of you know Julie Yates was killed in a car accident on March 21st, on that same day, shortly after, her daughter Libby was also killed after being struck by a car. Nobody knows or is prepared for something like this. I have started this page in hopes for our little community to come together and help this family as much as possible. The money will be put towards the funeral, and what is left will be given to the Yates family to do what they deem necessary, whether it is funeral expenses or whatever they need. I am a friend of the family, I went to church with Julie’s daughter and I intend on taking the funds to the funeral home in which the funeral will be held. Jenelle Evans is without question one of the more outspoken stars of MTV’s Teen Mom franchise. By which, of course, we mean she bites the hand that feeds her on a regular basis and seems hell-bent on getting fired and alienating as many fans as possible in the process. Like so many of her co-stars, Jenelle has accused MTV editors of creating false narratives and going out of their way to portray her in a negative light. Usually, these allegations elicit face-palms aplenty from Teen Mom 2 fans, most of whom have watched Jenelle earn her place as the show’s resident loose cannon though nearly a decade of erratic behavior. Many have implored Jenelle to STFU for the sake of her family, as the show is her sole means of support, And with her reputation and rap sheet, it seems unlikely that Evans would be able to find employment that would allow her to comfortably provide for herself and her three kids. In short, viewers believe Jenelle’s finger-pointing at MTV is just a lot of #FakeNews melodrama. Now, however, Jenelle has leveled an accusation that many fans seem to believe is not only legit, but necessary. Earlier this week, a fan of the show criticized Jenelle, and suggested that her divisive mother, Barabara Evans (who currently has custody of Jenelle’s eldest son, Jace ), should have custody of all three of Jenelle’s kids. Surprisingly, the official Teen Mom 2 Twitter account actually engaged the fan in a discussion on the subject, asking: “Do you think Jenelle is ready to have custody of Jace?” Jenelle witnessed the exchange and responded immediately: “Why would u respond to someone being so negative towards me?!! You already knew their answer, my god,” Evans tweeted, adding: “The drama never ends with MTV.” The argument seemed to back up a claim that Jenelle has been making for years: She believes that MTV wants Barbara to retain custody of Jace, as the arrangement generates conflict between mother and daughter, and thus, ratings for the long-running reality series. The custody battle between Jenelle and Barbara has been a central storyline for several seasons, and its not hard to see why Jenelle would believe that the show’s producers are hoping to keep it going. Jenelle isn’t the most stable mom on the planet, and most of her paranoid conspiracy theories are likely nothing more than that. But even a broken clock is right twice a day, and in her accusations of collusion between Barbara and MTV, Jenelle might be onto something. Looks like the rumored, rebound romance made in MTV heaven is in fact the real deal, as the worlds of Teen Mom and Real World collide. Madison Channing Walls has confirmed that she and Javi Marroquin are indeed dating, while providing more details about their relationship. After experiencing private – and public – heartbreak on their respective reality shows, Javi and Madison are giving love another chance. “Javi and I are definitely together,” she tells E! News . “We are definitely boyfriend and girlfriend.” How did girlfriend and boyfriend meet? In very 2017 fashion. According to the duo, Madison direct messaged Javi on Instagram after some of her fans brought up their similarities. Walls’ social media followers noted that the reality stars had similar stories about exes and babies, and suggested that they get together. Amazing, right? That initial DM conversation turned into nonstop talking, which ultimately turned into a relationship that both are over the moon about. “I love that he is a gentleman,” Madison said of Javi. “I like his core values and that he has morals and just what he stands for.” Rumors of Javi Marroquin dating Madison Channing Walls first surfaced earlier this week when they made it Instagram official.
