I think it’s weird,” Witherspoon admitted. “I don’t encourage it, but if it comes on, we’ll watch it. They kind of find it entertaining. They’re kind of fascinated with a movie I did when I was 14. I encourage their artistic abilities at home, but they’ve never said that it’s anything they wanted to do,” Witherspoon said. The busy actress and mom also dished about her encounter with Kate Middleton at the California launch of Tusk Trust, an organization designed to preserving Africa’s culture, back in July. “That was very cool,” Witherspoon gushed of meeting the Duchess of Cambridge. “There’s such a history there, and I think there’s also a fascination with [Kate]. She carries herself so beautifully, keeps her composure, and under a lot of stress, I’m just kind of fascinated with how people handle different modes and lifestyles and all that. Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry spent hours inside a Los Angeles courtroom yesterday, but little was accomplished in terms of settling on what changes would be made to the pair’s custody arrangement. The former couple is at odds because Aubry is under investigation for allegedly shoving his nanny while she cradled daughter Nahla,in her arms. Berry wants her ex to be barred from contact with Nahla until the investigation is complete. But that determination was not decided by a judge yesterday. Instead, according to TMZ, the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services submitted various recommendation for Halle and Gabriel, including third party mediation. She was reportedly open to the idea; he was not. Both parties did, however, agree to send Nahla to counseling, while Berry will undergo therapy on her own and Aubry had already said he was open to anger management courses . The judge did not rule on the nanny’s fate, or on Berry’s request to prevent contact between Nahla and Aubry. A full trial may be convened in the near future to deal with these issues.

A Brooklyn mother has been busted for abandoning two of her daughters on a sidewalk — leaving them alone hours after she gave them a curse-filled tongue-lashing, cops and neighbors said. Dalisha Adams, 26, was charged Monday with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child for cruelly leaving Dominae, 5, and Diani, 3, in the cold, police said. A neighbor of Adams at the Breukelen Houses in Canarsie said she often heard the mom screaming at the girls and their older sister, who lives with an aunt. “She was always yelling at the kids, ‘Shut the f— up,’” said the neighbor, who did not want to be identified. “One day, I heard her curse out the little baby, ‘I’ll punch you in the f—— face,’” the neighbor said. She said she heard another blowup on Sunday, not long before the girls were found about two miles away in front of the Bay View Houses, clutching disposable diapers. “Usually I hear the yelling at night or early in the morning, 4 or 5, but this was in the daytime,” the neighbor said. “A kid was crying. She was saying, ‘Stop crying. Shut the f— up. I’m gonna get you out of here.’” The girls told police their mother left them on the sidewalk and just drove away. An elderly couple found them wandering up and down the street. The 5-year-old told cops their mother’s name is Dalisha and that she was driving a white car but did not know the make nor model of the vehicle. Cops went door-to-door in an effort to identify the children. About 10:10 p.m. on Sunday night, police showed up to Adams’ apartment and used a crowbar to open the door, a resident said. Adams apparently was not inside. She surrendered at the 69th Precinct stationhouse around 11:30 p.m. A neighbor said the girls were usually well-dressed and clean, and Adams’ MySpace page is filled with photos of her daughters. But another resident of the housing project confirmed Adams was harsh with the kids. “She talks very dirty to the children and treats them nasty. She pulls their arm and curses at the children,” the neighbor said. “It’s not right,” she said of the abandonment. “They’re better off with someone else.” The sisters did not appear to be abused but were taken to Brookdale University Hospital as a precaution. The Administration for Children’s Services confirmed it took custody of the two younger girls but declined to say whether it had an open case on the family. SMH. According to TMZ reports : Halle Berry is going to court this AM, and she’ll ask a judge for an order prohibiting her baby daddy, Gabriel Aubry, from having ANY contact with 3-year-old Nahla until the child endangerment investigation against him is resolved. As TMZ first reported, the LAPD is conducting a criminal battery and child endangerment investigation after Gabriel allegedly pushed the nanny with Nahla in her arms. And before the alleged pushing, the nanny says Gabriel screamed at her and hurled a racial epithet. In addition, we’ve learned the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services is also conducting a child endangerment investigation. TMZ has learned more about what nanny Alliance Kamdem has told the cops. Law enforcement sources tell us … Kamdem claims Gabriel repeatedly yelled and cursed at her, often while Nahla was present. Kamdem also says it got so bad … Gabriel would make her sit in a corner in his condo until he called for her. Kamdem also claims Gabriel often yelled at Nahla, causing the child to cower and cry. And she told police… when Nahla had a rash he refused to treat it. Kamdem quit last week after Gabriel allegedly shoved her. We were introduced to Towanda Braxton via “Braxton Family Values,” a reality show showcasing songstress Toni Braxton and her four sisters who have proven to be closer than a tight knitted scarf. Trina, Towanda, Tamar, Toni and Tracey, let us into their lives filled of real world problems such as: relationship woes, family issues and the hunger for stardom. Each sister is different and as we have come to see, Towanda is the peacemaker between all the ladies. We spoke to the wife and mother of two about her troubled marriage, sister Toni’s health and some girly hair care tips we can file in our “good to know” box! HB: How’s your family doing? last time we checked you were living with Trina. We’re still out to lunch. It’s like I’m still trying to figure it out with Andre. The basis of it all is that we are trying to be here for our children because that’s what matters. Our lives don’t matter anymore what matters is the welfare of children, so we are trying to figure it out for them. HB: Has your sister Trina’s relationship improved in your eyes? They are definitely communicating better, I think one time I said even on the show that when you have a another family in your household it forces you to use your words and talk to each other and not at each other. They were arguing at each other. I guess by me and my family being there it did kind of help their relationship. HB: What advice do you give to another woman who is in the same position as you and your husband? I usually say if its fixable than try to fix it. You have to try and exasperate all of your options. That’s what I’m trying to do and I’m the type of person that doesn’t like to give up and marriage isn’t easy! Unless he’s beating your head in, it’s fixable and it depends on what your breaking point is. Some women’s breaking point is cheating… My breaking point is someone bashing my head in. You ain’t gon’ bash me in my head! HB: You come across as the peacemaker, which sister is the hardest to deal with? T-A-M-A-R…she is the baby, we have spoiled her rotten and we’ve allowed her to get away with so much. and now we’re like wait a minute, we have children we cant do this anymore, our children are watching. Now it’s time for everyone to set boundaries. HB: Tamar & Vince are getting their own show, your feelings about it? Im excited for Tamar and Vince, I can’t wait to see it because it’s going to be a different dynamic. Tamar is one way with her sisters and another way with Vince. So I think it’s another side of her everyone will see. She’s a bit shy as-a-matter-of -fact when she meets other people. Around us she can be herself but around other people she’s a little shy. HB: Is Vince doing OK? he was reportedly sick … He’s good, he’s at home now! HB: How’s Toni doing? she was recently admitted into the hospital. She’s good, whenever she has a small flare she likes to go to the hospital get some tests and it’s good to do that before she gets a full flare-up. Lupus attacks anything, it makes you fatigue. This is how she describes it ‘It’s like having the worst flu of your life,’ your body aches, you can’t get out of bed, you don’t want to do anything. That’s basically how it is with a full flare-up. HB: What was your reaction when you first found out about her Lupus? Since I was working with Toni, I was kind of privy to a lot of little things. My thing was, of course I was sad, I tried to look at the silver lining, like at least it isn’t attacking your main organs like your heart meaning that she could have a heart-attack at anytime. Since you’ve been liberated of your personal assistant duties, how has life been? I don’t know quite how to act! All this time on my hands. I’ve been doing acting clases with Terry Vaughn. I went on an audition and I got the part! To be honest, i don’t know about this part though. It’s in a play. I think in a few years I will have an Emmy award and an Oscar! HB: Growing up, what was one thing you mother always taught you? That there’s no one greater than you than god! HB: How do you maintain your tresses? I caught a lot of flack for wearing pig tails, let’s be honest first season you don’t get a huge budget so you kind of have to figure it out yourself. I use a lot of mousse and black gel, the pro gel– keep them edges down. I wear weaves, lots of weaves…underneath I’m natural. I was always the girl that never wanted to go natural, My hair is very soft and fine so I have to be careful how much heat I put on my hair. Heidi Klum and Seal have officially confirmed that they’re planning to divorce on Sunday, after rumors swirled that the couple were splitting after almost seven years of marriage.
