Howard Stern has an important message for parents around the world: he has no intention of turning your children into sex fiends. The new America’s Got Talent judge issued this missive during an appearance on Piers Morgan Tonight, in response to criticism leveled at NBC for hiring the lesbian-loving radio host. The PTC thinks “I’m some sort of weird pervert who’s going to convert America into some kind of zombie sex fiends,” he told the man he’s replacing, adding: “I can assure you and the rest of America what I’m looking at here is to be a very good judge. To sit there, I take it seriously, you know I watched the show.” Stern is a father who is actually quite protective of children. He even questions those who place theirs on the America’s Got Talent stage. “I raised three daughters and I don’t think that that would be appropriate. But there are parents out there who think it’s a good idea. And you got to be damn sure that this is a wise decision before you do it, because not only are you putting a kid out there, to be judged, but – you know, if a kid really does have talent, you do need time to nurture that talent, develop that talent.” Do you think Stern will make a good judge?

Last night was a BONUS episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and in case you missed it, you missed Sheree and Phaedra get served by Sheree’s ex-husband, Bob, in court. Unfortunately, Sheree and her ex-husband are still battling each other over child support, and when Bob beats Sheree to the punch by filing a petition to reduce his child support, Sheree hires her friend and lawyer, Phaedra to help her out with the case. Phaedra reminds Sheree that she still has the option to throw Bob in jail for failing to pay child support for the past four years, but who wants to see their child’s father sitting in a jail cell? Sheree decides to go ahead and take Bob back to court in attempts to get a substantial amount of child support for their children. Kim’s Baby Shower Turns Into A Complete Disaster! “RHOA” [RECAP] According to the housewives, the court system in Atlanta usually favors men especially high profile men like athletes which put Sheree in a tight situation. Although Sheree was nervous about the upcoming court date, Phaedra reassured her that everything would be okay, and to let her do all the talking. The day finally came for Sheree to face her ex in court, and although she was teary eyed, she put her big girl panties on, a pair of low pumps and slacks that hid her “big ol donky booty” and held her head high. She was just as stunned as we were by Bob’s cleverness and ability to represent himself in court. They agreed to meet in court at a later date, so Phaedra could have time to review Bob’s petition. Later that afternoon, Sheree, Phaedra and Kandi meet for a quick lunch. Their conversation turns emotional with Sheree and Kandi begin talking about Sheree’s experience in court and Kandi’s experience with trying to get child support from her ex husband for her daughter Riley. It’s an emotional moment for the housewives, and it’s hard to watch these strong women broken down by their ex-men who aren’t active in their children’s lives. The first trailer for Rock of Ages, in which Tom Cruise channels his inner rock god, has hit the web, and the star not only looks, but acts the part of an aging singer. Also starring Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Malin Akerman, Paul Giamatti, Mary J. Blige and Alec Baldwin, Rock of Ages opens June 1. The plot involves two musicians (Hough and Boneta) who meet in L.A. and try to make it big in the biz. As their dreams begin to soar, they face an uncertain future as the conservative mayor’s wife (Zeta-Jones) is determined to shut their beloved club down. It’s also set in 1987. After deciding over the weekend to check in to a treatment facility in Los Angeles… only to then decide to go with outpatient care instead … sources now tell TMZ the troubled ex-wife of Charlie Sheen has chosen once and for all to seek professional help for substance abuse. “After further reflection and consideration, Brooke has decided to remove herself from the media spotlight and has entered a long-term in-patient treatment center where she can focus on her recovery without distraction,” her rep says , adding that she’s already checked in to the undisclosed facility. Mueller will retain custody of her twin boys, this insider says, explaining that they’ll remain in their house under the care of a nanny. “Charlie and Brooke’s parents fully support her decision and everyone recognizes the importance of maintaining the children’s normal routine,” the rep concludes.
Jerry Sandusky pleaded not guilty inside of a Pennsylvania courtroom today, waiving his right to a preliminary hearing in the process and avoiding any testimony from those who have accused him of child abuse. For now at least. The disgraced ex-defensive coordinator at Penn State subsequently appeared on the courtroom steps alongside his lawyer, Joseph Amendola, who told the press: “There will be no plea negotiations. This is a fight to the death.” Amendola added that his client also waived his appearance at the January 11 arraignment and asked for a jury trial. A handful of alleged victims were present at the court house this morning and prepared to make their claims public , a step they will now take instead some time in 2012. Said Howard Janet, an attorney for one of the boys who has said he showered with Sandusky : “It would have been apparent from watching those boys and their demeanor that they were telling the truth.” Amendola, of course, says otherwise, telling reporters: “We’re pursuing a financial motivation. Finances and money are great motivators.” Late last week, Sandusky’s wife spoke out in support of her husband. She said the former coach only tried to ” help and care ” for the children that came through Second Mile, a charity he founded in the late 1970s, from which many believe he culled his young prey.
After the miscarriage of their 20th child last week, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar announced that they will hold a memorial service on Wednesday, December 14. They’ve also given the baby girl a name: Jubilee Shalom Duggar. The stars of TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting discovered at a routine ultrasound that the child, due next April, no longer had a heartbeat and Michelle had miscarried. “We have had many tears today,” says Jim Bob Duggar , 46. “This is life, and I understand that we are going though something that many others have.” “You think about the what-ifs, but God gives us strength to go on. We won’t be able to see this child’s life and the phases we’ve seen for our other children.” “But we will see this child in heaven one day. We are thankful, and we are blessed to have the children we have here and the ones we will meet someday.” Jim Bob says they are grateful for the health of youngest daughter, Josie, who turned 2 on December 10, and who has endured serious health problems. She and Ray recently learned that their 4-year-old son Walker has Type I Diabetes. As the wife of an athlete and mother of a diabetic, Shannon knows about healthy living. She recently launched a cooking show called “The Pre-Game Meal” that gives tips for healthy eating. When asked about her show, Shannon made it clear that she was not a cooking professional. As Allen states, “I’m not a chef. I don’t pretend to be. I’m just a busy mom who has happened to be making a pregame meal for the past 15 years. I have a husband who is a professional athlete and food is very important in getting him to his next athletic performance.” The mom explains, “I never even knew what a carb was before Walker was diagnosed and I had no idea how it impacted your body and your circulatory system, your pancreas. I didn’t even know what blood sugar was.
