Paris Jackson Attempts Suicide, Is Under Doctor’s Supervision (UPDATED)

Paris Jackson reportedly tried to kill herself on Saturday morning. The 20-year old daughter of Michael Jackson was thankfully unsuccessful, but she is currently in the hospital and her family is very concerned. Scroll down for all the details we have at this time… According to TMZ, police and the paramedics both responded to Jackson’s Los Angeles home at 7:30 a.m today. It’s unclear at this time exactly what state Paris was in and who called 911 — but sources tell this website that Paris slit her wrists . She was immidately transported to a hospital and placed on 5150 hold – which allows an individual with a purported mental illness to be involuntarily detained for a 72-hour psychiatric hospitalization – and is in stable condition. TMZ reports with confidence that Paris tried to take her own life as a “direct response to the allegations made against her father in Leaving Neverland, ” the recently-aired documentary in which Wade Robson and James Safechuck accuse Michael Jackson of molesting them as kids. While such allegations have mostly been public knowledges for decades, this documentary depicted them in personal, sensitive and great detail for the first time in the eyes of many viewers. Just a day before this alleged suicide attempt, we here at The Hollywood Gossip has written about how Jackson’s loved ones were worried she might relapse into drug or alcohol use. Or even something worse. The 20-year old has staunchly defended her dad against these heinous sexual assault accusations — but she was also spotted smoking weed in a video a few days ago that left many followers in a state of anxiety. Jackson spent more of her teenage years battling substance abuse and had talked about attempting suicide many years ago. “Y’all take my life more seriously than Ido. Calm yo tittaaaaysss [sic],” Paris wrote in response this to an article about the abuse allegedly suffered by Robson and Safechuck. She followed this remark up with an explanatory statement that many fans found distressingly casual, considering the situation and the accusations against her world famous father. “I didn’t mean to offend by expressing that titties should be calm, I know injustices are frustrating and it’s easy to get worked up,” she wrote on Instagram, adding: “But reacting with a calm mind usually is more logical than acting out of rage and also … it feels better to mellow out. Smoke some weed n think about the bigger picture. Chillax my dudes.” The fallout from Leaving Neverland has been abrupt and severe. Michael’s music and television appearances have been getting muted since HBO aired the project; The Simpsons, for example, recently announced it would never again air an episode that centered on The King of Pop. Paris also tried to kill herself back in 2013 as well, and has been candid about her struggles with depression in the past. Just two months ago, Jackson checked into rehab for what she deemed to be emotional health issues. “After a busy year of work engagements that took her all over the globe, Paris decided that she needed to take some time off to reboot, realign and prioritize her physical and emotional health,” a source close to Paris told People magazine at the time, concluding: “She checked herself into a treatment facility to aid in her wellness plan and is looking forward to coming out of this revitalized and ready to tackle the exciting new projects that await her.” Regardless of how you feel about Michael Jacksom, it’s impossible not to feel for his children throughout all of this. We send our prayers to Paris Jackson. UPDATE : TMZ reports that Paris is out of the hospital. But she has responded to the TMZ story on Twitter, writing, “f—k you you f—king liars.” She also posted a photo of herself on her Instagram Stories and wrote that she was “chillen like Bob Dylan.”

Vicki Gunvalson BLASTED for Exploiting Death of Luke Perry for Profit

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson just saved her job by the skin of her teeth. But she’s already in trouble again. This time, fans are outraged after she exploited the tragic death of Luke Perry to push her business. Vicki’s controversial post began: “I know most of you have heard about the unfortunate passing of Luke Perry at the young age of 52.” “Luke was responsible in his estate planning,” she praised. “And because of that,” Vicki wrote. “He relieved his family of a lot of the burdens that would happen if he didn’t have it in place the way he did.” “It makes you realize how important Planning is,” she observed. “And,” Vicki continued. “How NOT to procrastinate taking care of a trust, health directives, and securing life insurance for those you leave behind.” “So sad,” her post concluded. That sounds like Vicki is praising Luke for his foresight and responsibility. The Riverdale star was worth an estimated $10 million at the time of his passing. That small fortune has now passed on to his two children, Sophie and Jack, who are young adults. But Vicki has her own insurance business. So it seems to her followers that she was exploiting a famous death to promote her own business. That is extremely distasteful. “Really? Capitalizing off of another persons death to get business,” accuses a commenter. “SO UNBELIEVABLY TACKY!” “I was a fan, but not anymore,” declares another. “TACKY of you to advertise your insurance company with the unfortunate passing of a celebrity.” That same commenter continues: “We all know, or should know, to plan for our futures. Shame on you!” “This is literally disgusting…take this post down,” demands another. “It was already said that he wrote a will and left everything to his children.” “Stop being ridiculous,” that same commenter concludes. “Really?” exclaims another commenter. “Using the death of a star to promote your insurance business? Super poor taste,” “Wow lady you should be ashamed of yourself,” chimes in another. “Really how disrespectful are you.” “How would you like it if somebody posted this when your Mom died Vicki?” asks another, getting very personal. That same commenter continues: “Like that’s what’s important when family is grieving over the loss of a loved one.” “Besides,” the commenter adds. “Whether he was prepared financially or not is none of anybody’s business to be putting on social media or to be using to promote your own business.” “Sick, Vicki….money hungry and heartless,” the disgusted follower accuses. “Get yourself together, seriously.” Finally, the comment concludes: “May Luke Perry rest peacefully and his family find strength during this time of great loss.” We certainly agree that Luke Perry’s death isn’t a good segue to use to plug your business. That said, if a celebrity overdoses or dies in a car crash, people often talk about the importance of things like getting help or driving safely. Vicki’s message would have been just fine if it had come from almost anyone else — provided that they don’t own an insurance business. It is the perceived conflict of interest that prompted Vicki to post that message. She has since wisely deleted it. Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood: Will They Actually Get Married?

Based on their reactions to reconnecting on The Bachelor finale this week , Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood are very clearly a happy couple. But one question still remains: Will they live happily ever after ? As in… will Cassie and Colton ever get married? The aforementioned finale concluded without a ring on Randolph’s finger, as Underwood convinced his alleged soulmate to give their romance another try — with no proposal and no pressure. They’re now just two regular people, in a very serious relationship, simply seeing what the future holds for them. Will it include a wedding, though? It almost never does, not for any couple who met via The Bachelor or The Bachelorette . This is why we had to ask members of The Hollywood Gossip for their opinion on the most pressing of celebrity gossip topics today: Is Colton still a a virgin ? No, wait, that isn’t it. WILL HE AND CASSIE GET MARRIED? OH HELL NAH by Free Britney It says a lot that Colton chose Cassie as the woman within whom he would bust the inaugural nut. But alas, that initial o-face may not be enough. Don’t get me wrong here. As Bachelor Nation couples go, Colton and Cassie probably stand a better chance of making it to the altar than most. His devotion to her was clear from the start. It was all about Cassie this season, and no competitors (or fences) were going to get in his way. Cassie needed more time, basically dumped him, and he still felt that he pretty much had to dispatch Tayshia and Hannah to pursue her. That level of dedication is not to be taken lightly. Still, there are questions of whether either party is really ready to settle down at this point. Cassie, for obvious reasons, and Colton? Well … His v-card made for great television and many a terrible joke on this website, but he never struck us as a one-woman man. More of an opportunist. Ask his exes Tia Booth and Aly Raisman how they felt about his loyalty. Does he always have his eye on the future, or one foot out the door? There’s also just the plain fact that the aftermath is about to hit Coltassie hard. Gone are the helicopter rides and fantasy suites. Here are the real jobs. Well, maybe not. They’ll likely enjoy nice careers as C-level Instagram influencers earning fractions of a penny per click shilling for Hello Fresh. Nevertheless, they barely know each other. The show’s track record speaks for itself. Only ONE TIME in the previous 22 seasons has the star of the Bachelor wed his final rose recipient (Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Jason Mesnick went on to marry their respective runners-up, but that’s still a paltry 3-for-22 success rate). Long story short, it’s a hard road under the best of circumstances, and I don’t know that Cassie and Colton are starting in that position, nor am I sure they have the commitment to see this relationship progress into marriage. LOL, NO by Simon Delott These two really went off-script this season. Cassie broke up with the hunky athlete after he told her that he would end the show for her. Then Colton shook, cried, and climbed over a wall in distress. Sure, he and Cassie did get together. They’re together to this day, even though they’re not engaged. But the reason that I vote “no” existed long before the finale. Maybe he had love-blinders on or maybe it’s just his inexperience with romance, but Colton ignored a ton of red flags. Just about everyone warned him that Cassie was not there for the right reasons. We don’t just mean Kirpa and Tayshia and Katie and Sydney and Demi and Hannah Brown . Cassie’s own family seemed reluctant to encourage Colton to pursue her. They were dropping hints that he should let her go. For that matter, even Cassie seemed to be encouraging Colton to slam on the breaks. Plus, didn’t we hear that both Cassie and Caelynn had spoken about becoming the next Bachelorette? That’s not the dream of someone who intends to stay with Colton for keeps. YES by Tyler Johnson There was something a bit … off about Colton’s season of The Bachelor. Yes, his virginity loomed over the proceedings from the first rose to the excruciatingly protracted finale. And yes, Chris Harrison waved Colton’s V-card around at every opportunity, thus making the whole thing even more awkward. But it wasn’t just Colton’s lack of fantasy suite experience that made this season stand out. (Nor, for that matter, was it the famous fence jump, which was teased in promos for approximately 4 billion years before we actually got to see it in context.) No, this was a far more chaste and wholesome season in general. Sure, there was some back-biting among the ladies, but Colton seemed to gravitate toward women who shared his stringent moral values, and those were the contestants who hung around the longest. Which brings us to Cassie. Though not a virgin like Colton, she might have been the only cast member who was able to match him in terms or rectitude and righteousness. Cassie filmed another reality show before The Bachelor, and it was all about her Christian beliefs. Her dad refused to give Colton permission to propose, thus demonstrating a total lack of understanding of how the show works — as well as a bonkers level of commitment to his “traditional” values. As far as we can tell, Colton held on to his virginity for all those years because he was looking for a partner who could match his moral purity. And it looks like he’s found it in Cassie. Expect these two to get hitched and pop out roughly 1 million blonde babies. ACTUALLY, YES by Hilton Hater Trust me. I shocked myself with this answer. I’m someone who believes that true love cannot grow between two people while they’re surrounded by cameramen and forced to recite cheesy dialogue during staged, not-really-romantic sunsets, hot air balloon rides or random concerts by really random artists who have a marketing deal with Disney. Many years of Bachelor break-ups have proven this theory correct. But Cassie and Colton actually went about things in a candid, raw – dare I say it? – realistic manner this season. Colton never pretended to be in love with multiple women at once; and Cassie didn’t pretend to be cool with her quasi boyfriend kissing other women throughout the week. The latter was bothered by this fact, just like anyone would and should be, while Colton refused to even lead any other finalist on. This is a virgin (in case you hadn’t heard) who could have finally ended his sexual drought by getting it on with two beautiful and very willing women… and he instead chose to send them home because his heart was set on Cassie. That’s sort of, kind of, in its own way… beautiful, isn’t it? It has to at least mean something that Colton was so sure about Cassie that he didn’t even try and pander to ratings or viewers by dragging out his decision. And it has to at least mean something that neither Cassie nor Colton wanted to get married so soon after this charade of a relationship. They’re willing to take their time and explore their feelings and aren’t about to be influenced by Chris Harrison or a bunch of executives in suits or really anyone except for each other. Lori Loughlin ARRESTED Over College Cheating Scandal

A number of wealthy individuals, including actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin, were indicted as part of a massive college fraud scheme . One day after that news broke, Lori was arrested on Los Angeles. Meanwhile, former fans cannot help but notice certain parallels between Lori's scheme and her role as Aunt Becky on Full House . Speaking to People , a representative from  the U.S. Attorneys Office Central District of California confirms that Lori has been arrested. She remains in custody and is expected to make an appearance in court at 2pm (PST). The 54-year-old actress was arrested following an overnight flight from Canada, where she had been filming. She faces a felony charge of conspiracy to commit mail fraud. She also faces a charge of honest services mail fraud. Lori is one of dozens facing charges for what appears to have been a massive, nationwide scheme. The schools involved range from USC to Yale to Princeton to Stanford to Georgetown. Wealthy parents are accused of having paid, in amounts ranging from the tens of thousands to considerably greater sums, to guarantee their children's college placement. In some cases, these were payments to have someone else take an entrance exam. Others were bribes for coaches to list students as having been recruited as athletes when they were not. Part of the outrage over this is brought on by the thought of students who had applied and been denied because these slots went to students whose parents paid bribes. Lori is specifically accused of paying $500,000 for her daughter to be virtually placed on a university rowing team. Her young adult daughter, Olivia Jade, is an Instagram influencer who has dabbled in acting. Reportedly, Olivia posed on a rowing machine to help sell the claim that she was part of the team. It is unclear how much she or any of the other children may have known of what their parents were doing to secure their future. But Olivia has expressed a disinterest in college academics multiple times on social media. Considering that her mother may go to prison over what she did for Olivia's college career, those posts have not aged well. Speaking of things that have not aged well … (No, this is not a knock on Lori, who remains beautiful on the outside) … Lori's role on Full House, which made her famous in the first place, is now coming back to haunt her during this scandal. Notably, she was the voice of reason and honesty on multiple episodes in which Uncle Jesse tried to use shortcuts. In one episode, written by someone who doesn't know how SATs work, Jesse snuck a radio to DJ to try to help her cheat on her SAT exams. It was aunt Becky who took the SAT answer sheet (which no proctor would ever have, let's be real) to stop him from helping her. Another episode showed Jesse lying to an elite preschool to try to get his twins enrolled in the hopes that he would give them a head start at life. It fell to Becky to talk him out of it. In the episode, she delivered some very heartfelt lines about how the twins would go through life at their own pace, and didn't need a dishonest boost. It seems clear that speaking those lines had no lasting effect on Lori Loughlin — not when it came to her own child's future. Watch these clips for yourself. Lori Loughlin Free on $1 Million Bond, Must Surrender Passport

We have an update on the Lori Loughlin college cheating scandal that continues to rock the nation. As previously reported, the actress forever known as Aunt Becky was arrested on Wednesday afternoon. She was taken into custody by FBI agents in California after returning to the United States from Vancouver, where she had been filming a television show. We can now also report that Loughlin subsequently appeared before a judge in Los Angeles, where her bail was set at $1 million, the same amount also set for her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli. Giannulli was not in court on Wednesday, but both individuals were set free after securing this amount against their home, as well as other assets. Judge Steve Kim originally said at the hearing that he wasn’t “comfortable” providing Loughlin with her passport — but then relented and set conditions for her work. For example, Loughlin may head to Vancouver to film two more projects in April and May and then to this same city in July for a series. But she must surrender her passport in December. Loughlin will also face charges in Boston Federal Court on March 29. As you’ve likely read about by now… the actress is in a boatload of trouble. Along with Felicity Huffman and 48 other, less famous men and women, Loughlin is accused of illegally funneling money to a middle man in California. This man then worked with an employee at the University of Southern California to break the law and submit Loughlin’s daughter’s as applicants for entry under false pretenses. And Loughlin’s case is especially galling. The mother of two and allegedly gave $500,000 to say her daughter Olivia Jade was part of her high school rowing team. She even had Olivia pose for photos on a rowing machine to make this fradulent argument. Using this bribery money, along with the fake picture and other phony/doctored pieces of information, Olivia was submitted to USC as a prospective athlete, which lowered her admission standards. According to the official indictment, Loughlin and her husband “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team – despite the fact that they did not participate in crew – thereby facilitating their admission to USC.” On Tuesday morning, news went viral of an FBI investigation (amazingly code-named “Operation Varsity Blues”)  into a group of wealthy parents who are accused of paying between $200,000 and $6.5 million to admit their children into elite universities. Their reported schemes include everything from faking SAT and ACT scores to paying college coaches to have their children designated as athletic recruits, as is the case here. Making matters a million times worse for Loughlin? Olivia Jade is some sort of huge social media star who said on video last year that she’s only at school to party. Moreover, per TMZ, she spent Tuesday night on the yacht of the Chairman of USC’s Board of Trustees! This was after news of the scandal broke! These people are the worst! Huffman, for her part, allegedly gave $15,000 “to participate in the college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of her oldest daughter,” the indictment states. She was arrested on Tuesday and released on a $250,000 bond. More than four dozen people have been charged in the nationwide scam, which is alleged to have placed students in top-tier schools such as Yale, Georgetown, Stanford, the University of Southern California, UCLA and the University of Texas. Ths investigation into these sordid affairs took place over the course of about a year. Loughlin has since deleted all her social media accounts and has not yet said anything about the scandal. She really may end up in prison .

Cassie Randolph Lashes Out Against Trolls, Details "Unique Adventure" on The Bachelor

Cassie Randolph is finally ready to talk. Or write, at the very least. Especially now that she has something to say about her apparent soulmate, Colton Underwood. On Tuesday night’s emotional Bachelor finale , Cassie listened closely to Colton’s pleas for another shot. She explained to him that she didn’t like how he was dating so many other women during their televised courtship and outlined the pressure she felt to make a decision about marriage at this point in their relationship. So the pair decided to scale it all back. There was no proposal on the finale. There was simply a decision to commit to a legitimate relationship and to see what sort of feelings would develop from there. And what was the answer? Very strong feelings! On the live after-show that aired following the actual finale, Cassie said she and Colton were “super” in love. How sweet, right?!? There’s no ring on Cassie’s finger just yet, just to be clear, but Randolph jumped on Instagram several hours ago to open up in great detail about the “unique adventure” of appearing on The Bachelor. “Sometimes it can be hard for me to find my words (as you all have seen haha),” she said to open this lengthy post, continuing as follows: “it’s so easy for me to over-analyze and get in my own head, especially when my feelings are overwhelming or when big things are happening so quickly. So, here goes my attempt to put the past 6 months into words…” From there, Cassie delved into nearly every aspect of her time as a contestant. And she included with her message the photo below of her and Colton swapping spit. Stepping out of the limo on night one, I had no idea what was in store for me. The saying “God always has bigger plans in mind” has never felt more real to me than it does now. I’m honestly holding back tears as I write this, trying not to get too sentimental as all the memories and emotions flood over me while I reflect on this whole experience. As easy as it is to mock The Bachelor and the idea of falling in love in front of complete strangers and many cameras, Cassie and Colton actually approached the experience in a similar, candid manner. It’s clearly ridiculous to get engaged after a stint on this show. Both sides instead agreed to just date for awhile and to see where things go from there. Now, back to Cassie’s heartlfelt message: I am unbelievably grateful for every single relationship that was formed with 29 amazing women, Colton and all the crew involved. It was a truly unique adventure that I got the extraordinary opportunity to experience. Everyone who has been beside me throughout these past 6 months (during filming and post), has helped me grow in ways that I couldn’t ever have imagined. Cassie, of course, feuded with fellow beauty pageant contestant Caelynn on more than one occasion this season. But she only had positive things to say in this post. I’ve learned things about myself, relationships, and life in general, that I would never have known otherwise. Thinking back to before I was cast on The Bachelor S23, I get chills realizing just how crazy it is that ONE THING has the potential to change life SO MUCH. Randolph did go on to say she needed to take a social media hiatus, however, during which some viewers out there hurt her feelings with what they said about her online. This past week, I took a much-needed break from my social media. I was allowing the opinions of others, and their sometimes cruel speculations, really get to me. T hat brings me to perhaps the truest, most impactful thing that this experience has taught me: to stay true to myself. Being real is something we ALL owe to ourselves. She concluded by hinting that marriage may, indeed, be in the cards. Regardless of the outcome, that is the one thing we can do to guarantee no regrets… to make the best decision we can in the moment. So cheers, my friends (and trolls) to The Bachelor S23 finale… may we all live and learn, be humble, and most of all, forever remain open to learning. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap: Teddi Mellencamp (Finally!) Confesses Involvement in PuppyGate

On Tuesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the PuppyGate drama intensified, and it made one housewife look super sketchy.  The explosive installment picked up with Teddi Mellencamp making her way over to Erika Girardi’s house to unveil her involvement in the storyline that is ruling the current season of the show.  Teddi confirmed that she was not in good standing with Dorit and that Lisa Vanderpump used that to her advantage.  “Lisa knew there was tension between Dorit and I,” Teddi dished, adding: “So I get the call from Vanderpump Dogs. They said, ‘This thing happened with Dorit and the dog. Can you believe it? It’s crazy. Lisa wanted you to know.’ And I had a very dramatic response.” “I was kind of in it, texting with them, being catty back. Like, ‘Alright, gimme more deets. Show me the tea!’ Not being the most above-board human being.” “She fed me information, and I bit,” Teddi continued. “Then Kyle and I get invited by Lisa Vanderpump to go to Vanderpump Dogs.” “They wanted me to say it. I already know this going into Vanderpump Dogs, and I couldn’t go through with it.” Erika wanted to know what Teddi was urged to say.  “Telling everybody what Dorit did,” she confirmed.  “Lisa is now in a full tizzy, ‘Don’t say anything! Don’t say anything!'” Teddi said about the whole mess, going on to say about LVP’s reaction to the whole mess being shot on camera. “That is when I realized, ‘I am set up. Something’s going on, and I don’t feel good about it anymore.’ If I wanted to lie, I wouldn’t have said I was petty at the beginning and I was involved.” “I have the proof, but somehow, she’s gonna try to flip it. I know it. In my heart of hearts, I think that’s what she’s doing right now.” Meanwhile, Dorit wondered whether she could find a way to trust Lisa again, and turned to her husband, PK.  “I love her, but LVP is a genius at manipulation and control,” he told his wife. “She’s the best in the world at it, and I respect her for it, but it gets a bit different and a bit difficult for me when it’s my wife.” Dorit wanted Lisa to be honest with her. She was convinced Lisa orchestrated the whole thing and wanted an apology.  As for Lisa, she was still trying to find a way to prove her innocence. John Blizzard, whose name keeps popping up in this whole mess, stopped by and Lisa asked for the truth.  “I know I don’t know you very well,” Lisa said to Blizzard. “I mean, I don’t. I know you’ve worked at the center. And really, before we even start anything, I really appreciate everything.” “However, you have kind of complicated my life. Our relationship is not that close, but clearly, you seem to be a lot closer to Teddi.” “Yeah, I am,” confirmed John. “Somehow, things got misconstrued,” LVP continued, adding that Blizzard is mistaken.  “Okay, so you told her. But then you implicate me,” said a stunned Lisa who felt like she had been implicated in something she had no part of.  “I put words in your mouth that were not true,” he replied. “And I will own that, and I’m sorry for that … and that’s what everyone at the center is so frustrated about is how this is all being flipped onto you.” “She’s not gonna be happy that you showed me the texts,” Lisa said. “Yeah, but at the same time, she shouldn’t have brought up my texts,” John replied. Lisa wasted no time in inviting Dorit and Kyle over to her house to show them the proof, and Kyle was not impressed. “I can see what you’re saying,” she said, adding: “There’s no doubt that [Teddi’s] hands aren’t clean in this, but I think that it’s not fair to put that on her when she wasn’t alone in the situation.”  Lisa was not about to let her vindication be marred by such drama. Lisa said she had “never spoken to John Blizzard.” Kyle took aim at Lisa, wondering how she knew that Teddi knew about the dog.  Lisa said that she texted Dorit saying, “You need to get in front of this. You need to clear this up.” Lisa ten provided what she said to Teddi about the matter: “Well, I just knew that if Teddi knows, or I know, you know, we all know, we start talking about it, so I said, ‘You should go and talk to John.'” Dorit was blindsided by the texts, but Kyle was not sure Lisa was telling the truth.  “Lisa’s saying she never spoke with John Blizzard, but someone told her something because she quickly let Dorit know,” Kyle said to the cameras. “So who told you? Where’d you get the information? Obviously, Lisa and John Blizzard had a whole conversation going on about that.” Yeah, PuppyGate is here to stay! Lori Loughlin: Will She Go To Prison For College Bribery Scandal?!

We just want to know what the future holds for Aunt Becky!  And legal experts are weighing in with their opinions on the  latest college admissions bribery scandal .  After news broke on Tuesday that Full House’s Lori Loughlin and Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman were among the 50 people allegedly involved in the college gate mess, fans are starting to wonder if prison is in their future. Legal expert James Leonard Jr. spoke with People about the future of the involved moms, saying while he believes prison definitely could happen, it is not super likely.  “This is a federal prosecution brought forth by the Department of Justice that carries with it potential life-altering consequences for those involved,” he said. “The stakes could not be higher.” He explains that a custodial term is always a possibility when charged with felonies, however, the question to ask is if it’s a probability, and in this case, he does not see it as a probability with respect to the parent’s involvement.  Huffman is accused of giving $15,000 “to participate in the college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of her oldest daughter,” by the indictment.  That bulk of the money went to a man who used it to pay off SAT proctors to raise Huffman’s daughter’s exam score. Her final score ended up being listed as 1420, which was 400 points higher than what she originally earned on her PSAT.  As for Loughlin, she is accused of paying $500,000 to have her daughters, including social media personality Olivia Jade , selected as recruits to the USC crew team after posing her kids on rowing machines.  Neither child has ever been on a rowing team. Federal court records revealed Tuesday that 50 people have been charged, as part of the nationwide scheme, according to a release from the U.S Attorney’s Office in Massachusettes.  Huffman has been arrested and is in custody. She will be released on a bond, confirming her attendance in court at a later announced time.  The scam reportedly broke after authorities discovered a California businessman who ran an operation that helped students get into the college of their choice.  Authorities say parents would pay big bucks and this man would send the fake scores to an SAT or ACT administrator, or to a college coach.  “At the end of the day, we are talking about parents who tried to help their children,” Leonard said, “and crossed the line in doing so.” Yes, a very expensive and very illegal line.

Khloe Kardashian: Tristan Cheating Won’t Ruin True’s Future!

Even though Khloe Kardashian has gotten hate for her baby photos , she’s not letting that stop her. Did you know that True Thompson is eleven months old? Khloe is showing off her baby to the world and, despite her baby daddy drama, expressing hope for her child’s future. Khloe shared three new, beautiful photos of her adorable baby daughter. In each image, True Thompson wears a red top, pink pants, and a cute pair of shades. She is seated on the sand at the beach and appears to be enjoying herself. Khloe captioned the precious pics with a healthy dose of optimism. “Future so bright,” Khloe writes. “She gotta wear shades!” On the one hand, this looks like it could just be a fairly weak pun about wearing sunglasses. (I’ve certainly made worse puns; no judgment here) At the same time, however, Khloe has seemed to harbor the idea that Tristan’s infidelity (and “worse,” her breakup with him) will harm her daughter’s future. It’s nice to see Khloe expressing positive expectations for her baby girl. Sometimes, when you’re feeling down yourself, you become overwhelmed with worries. Real talk: basically all of True’s relatives are millionaire celebrities. According to internet estimates, Tristan is worth $20 million. Khloe is worth twice that at $40 million. Those numbers only get higher with aunt Kim at $350 million and, of course, with aunt Kylie who is a billionaire . So there was never really much doubt about the relative brightness of True’s future. But Khloe had her concerns. See, Khloe’s parents divorced when she was about seven years old. They both loved her very much, but it seems that their split had a negative impact on her. (We don’t want to be dismissive of her feelings, but you could call it “daddy issues” — it’s not uncommon) What made this so painful for Khloe was that, for years, she had grown up with her parents together. In 2018, it was widely reported that Khloe was fearful of messing up True if she split from Tristan even though he was a no-good cheater. Obviously, a breakup when you’re a literal baby is not going to have the same emotional impact. What matters for a child is emotional support, love, and finances. (That, by the way, is why two-parent homes produce more successful children on average — they tend to have more time and more money) True is lucky in that she will never have to worry about any of those things in her life. Though reports say that Tristan Thompson isn’t interested in being a father right now, that could change in the future. Even if he never takes responsibility for the children he’s sired, True will always be loved. The only real worry about her future is when she gets old enough to google all of her dad’s cheating shenanigans. Sometimes, Khloe gets bombarded with hate because True is dressed a certain way or surrounded by expensive belongings. We hope that this doesn’t deter Khloe from sharing these photos. True is adorable and all of our social media timelines are better when we see adorable baby cheeks. Trolls should pick on adults if they absolutely have to cyberbully people. Kelly was released from jail this weekend after some heada$$ enabler paid the $160,000 child support that was in arrears. Today, we find out why Robert was so far behind despite the claiming to Gayle King that he wanted a relationship with his children. According to TMZ , sources close to Robert say that he stopped paying child support to spite his ex-wife Drea Kelly. The singer believes Drea “brainwashed” the kids and turned him against him. Which, ironically, is the exact same thing that the parents of his *alleged* victims have said about him. This withholding of money just goes to show how stupid Robert really is. Taking away the money your children need to live in order to punish your ex-wife makes no sense whatsoever. Kelly “scraped together” the cash to get out of jail thanks to an unknown “benefactor”. He had been paying $20,833 since January 2009 but fell off the wagon HARD last year. Drea and Robert have conflicting stories about why he doesn’t have a relationship with his children, both blaming each other for changing their phone numbers. Drea says she’s down to allow Robert to see the kids but she hasn’t heard from him since 2017 after she went public about his abuse of her. Robert’s life is an absolute f**king mess. Just put him in prison already.
