It’s been less than 14 months since Ariel Winter and Levi Meaden’s one-year anniversary , but that hasn’t stopped these two from looking super domestic. They took pictures with a big ol’ tree. They took photos in matching Christmas onesies. And they took photos locking lips in front of their decorations. ‘Tis the season! Ariel Winter’s always happy to celebrate the holidays. Last October, we saw Ariel get into the Halloween spirit and out of her clothes . And that was before they dressed up in multiple different costumes. So you can always count on Ariel to be seasonal … and, when it comes to her boyfriend, affectionate. ( Ariel and Levi’s PDA has been all over social media, folks) As you can see, they didn’t need any mistletoe to put them in the kissing mood. That photo was shared to Snapchat. As sweet as their kiss in front of that dazzlingly decorated Christmas tree is, we’d like to point out a couple of things. One, Ariel Winter’s red dress is both in a perfect seasonal color and gorgeous. Two, they have so many presents around that tree. They’re not under the tree, they’re forming a small ocean around it. That’s what Christmas is all about. (Well, okay, also spending time with your loved ones, we guess) As you can see, Ariel and Levi didn’t limit their affections to formal attire. These Christmas onesies look adorable and comfortable. (That said, folks, no matter how cute your onesies might be, don’t pressure your family members into wearing them for anything more than just a photo op — some people find them confining, or too warm) Clearly, Levi and Ariel were feeling romance along with holiday cheer. But they weren’t the only ones who wore matching outfits: Ariel captioned this photo: “Kids are a struggle y’all. But Merry Christmas from our little dysfunctional family to yours!!!!” That is so cute, you guys. (The “kids” to whom she’s referring, in case you worry that you missed a huge story, are these dogs. Like most Millennials, Ariel refers to her dogs as her children) We love how domestic Ariel and Levi are as a couple. We also love their “dysfunctional family” and the fact that Ariel feels comfortable enough in their easy domesticity to write that. This is a big time in Ariel and Levi’s lives. Modern Family , which feels like it’s gone on for decades, won’t last forever. But Ariel has grown from a child star into an adult hottie before the very eyes of viewers. Levi, in the mean time, has entered Ariel’s life and, despite their age difference , they’ve found love and comfort in each other. In the next Pacific Rim film, Levi Meaden might get his big break — because he’s in that movie in some capacity. That should hopefully lay to rest the rumors that Levi Meaden is just Ariel Winter’s kept boy . He’s not, folks. He has his own acting career and everything. Knowles-Lawson attended the 6th Annual Ladylike Day at UCLA on Saturday, December 16 and spilled to US Weekly about 7-month-old twins Rumi and Sir: “It’s amazing. It’s one of the best blessings. Being a grandmother, it’s not like being a mom because you don’t have to have all the responsibility all the time, but they are amazing,” she told Us Weekly at the event. “This is my first experience around twins, and they’re so different, and their personalities, and they are wonderful.” When asked if she was seeing any of herself in the twins, Knowles-Lawson said, “Other than the boy has a stare, like a mean mug, like Jay sometimes, which is so cute, and the girl, she’s just so happy all the time and so sweet. Sadly, it seems Ben’s battle with the bottle didn’t end there. Radar Online is reporting that Affleck recently checked back into rehab , marking his third stint this year. Insiders say the Oscar-winner was encouraged to seek treatment by his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and his brother, Casey Affleck. “Ben relapsed,” a source tells the site. “Jen and Casey are willing to try anything, and they don’t care if the methods are controversial.” The “controversial methods” remark refers to Ben’s choice of treatment facility. Affleck reportedly checked into Passages Malibu, which eschews the traditional 12-step method in favor of an “unorthodox holistic” approach to addiction. Ben had previously been enrolled in an out-patient program, but according to a source close the actor, he recently decided that he needs a “constant support network” in order to remain sober. Passages encourages patients to remain in treatment for a minimum of 45 days, and since Ben was first spotted at the facility on December 10, it seems he’ll remain at the facility through the holidays. The source was unable to say for certain if Affleck will be able to see his three kids on Christmas, but notes that he is free to come and go from treatment as he sees fit: “Ben isn’t a prisoner and is fully committed to seeing his children and fulfilling his work commitments outside the center,” the insider tells Radar. Rumors that Ben was once again struggling with alcoholism began over the summer when he was spotted drinking with girlfriend Lindsay Shookus , once while traveling in New England, and again during a trip to her hometown of Buffalo, NY. Shortly thereafter, Ben began his outpatient program, but it seems he felt he needed a more comprehensive approach to the problem. Those who know him best say Affleck has been despondent over newly-surfaced reports about his past behavior. Recent accusations of Affleck groping female colleagues and generally behaving inappropriately prior to his marriage have reportedly taken a considerable emotional toll on the 45-year-old. This is so sad. What is wrong with people??? The Jasper County Prosecutor’s office has filed two charges against 22-year-old Jalen Vaden: Abuse or Neglect of a Child Resulting in Death, a felony; and Second Degree Murder. According to police, Vaden was the boyfriend of Kyle’s mom. Investigators describe Vaden as a “live-in boyfriend.” According to investigators, Vaden was upset that Kyle hadn’t put on her pajamas, as he told her to do. Investigators say Vaden threw Kyle to the floor, causing her to hit her head on the floor. Investigators say “a short time later,” Kyle left her bedroom without her pajamas. Investigators say “short time later,” Vaden threw Kyle on her bed. Investigators say “a short time later,” Vaden still saw Kyle wasn’t wearing her pajamas as instructed, so he again threw Kyle to her bed. According to Investigators, “Vaden then grabbed (Kyle’s) leg, ‘tossing’ her ‘face first’ onto the floor.” Investigators say Vaden then left Kyle’s bedroom, returning a short time later to find Kyle bleeding and unresponsive. Kyle was transported to Children’s Mercy in Kansas City, where she later died. Investigators say an autopsy revealed the cause of her death was head injury. Carl Junction’s police chief says Kyle’s mother has been cleared of any wrongdoing.
Just because Kate Gosselin had her children celebrate without Collin on Collin’s birthday doesn’t mean that she doesn’t know how to celebrate milestones for her other children. This time, it’s Leah Gosselin who’s being celebrated, as she finally got her braces off! And while the photos are cute, reactions in the form of Instagram comments were all over the place. It seems that Collin Gosselin is still missing , off at some dubious institution where Kate decided that he belonged. But Kate does have other children who, in an indictment of our society’s inability to look after the well-being of children, remain in Kate Gosselin’s custody. There are, however, some positive moments, even in that household. And there are things to celebrate. In the photo below, Leah Gosselin — who, like her fellow sextuplets, turned 13 over the summer — has finally gotten her braces off. And she’s celebrating with an array of tasty desserts … among other snacks. See how happy she looks! Leah’s smile is bright and celebratory! But still not quite as happy as her smile will be when she one day escapes from her mother and never looks back. As you can see, her teeth are no longer imprisoned by a sharp metal tooth-corset, which, having had braces when I was about her age, is how I would describe braces. You can’t see her food choices too well in this photo, so Kate, in either a rare moment of kindness or perhaps a desperate attempt to show that she can be “nice” and “fun” sometimes, really, she promises, shared another photo. In it, we see cake, a number of candies, and popcorn … which makes us think that Kate must have actually enforced the orthodontist’s rules about what to not eat with braces. (When I had braces, I avoided only popcorn. Gum actually helped me adjust to having the braces, and I never had any problem with gum or anything else) But here are the treats that Leah got to enjoy: With both photos, Kate Gosselin included the caption: “Somebody got their braces off today! [three grinning-face emojis] #CongratsLeah #BracesOffParty #GosselinTradition #BracesOnBracesOffConstantHere” We’ll say this much about Kate Gosselin — having a braces-off celebration for your kids is a great idea. That might be the only parenting advice that we’d ever take from her. Various followers chimed in with well wishes: “Hahaha … another constant is there’s always something to celebrate … no wonder everybody seems to be so happy …” Instagram comments don’t really need that many ellipses … but okay. “That is so awesome! Kate, you’re always finding unique ways to make your kids feel special and I LOVE that! [red heart emoji]” We weren’t the only ones who are still preoccupied by the fact that Kate decided to disappear her own child and keep him isolated from his siblings. One commenter wrote: “Collin doesn’t get braces.” Point of fact, we don’t know that Collin does or does not have braces. But we don’t know because, well, he’s wherever Kate sent him off to. Another commenter replied: “Yeah, that poor child.” Our only comfort is that Collin, though isolated from his siblings, is at least away from Kate. When there’s nothing else that you can do, folks, you have to look at the bright side.
