Leah Messer: Once Again Criticized for Bad Parenting

Leah Messer just can’t catch a break. No matter what she does, no matter how far she comes in life, she continues to receive criticism like there’s no tomorrow. And sure, sometimes she’s deserved it. Who could forget all those times on Teen Mom 2 when her daughters were crying because she hadn’t fed them breakfast and they were hungry? Or what about that time that she legit nodded off while holding a baby ? But sometimes, Leah does her best, and it’s still not good enough for her haters. This is one of those times. Over the weekend, Leah took her girls to a cheerleading competition. One of the twins, Aleeah (also known as Gracie), was in the competition, and Leah proudly shared some photos of her. And that, according to many people, was the wrong thing to do. People took issue with Aleeah’s costume as well as the amount of makeup she was wearing. “I don’t understand the need to dress our children so sexy and provocatively and put makeup on them and make them look older,” one commenter wrote. “Let them be little let them be children. Let them be innocent!!!” Another commanded Leah to “Cover those babies up!!! Too much skin!!!” One person complained that “It’s pretty sick how parents dont let their kids be kids!” Another asked “Can someone here explain the need for makeup and crop tops/mini shirts on a child?? Umm how does this ad to the sport??” And one more really got out of line, writing that “These are babies that don’t need makeup or even wear cheer clothes like these. I can bet everything I have (and dear god I hope I’m wrong) that she’s going to be 16 and pregnant too. Ugh.” There are so many issues with these kinds of comments … where do we even begin? One, we shouldn’t have to explain how wrong it is to suggest that a seven-year-old girl is going to end up pregnant at 16. Two, Aleeah has to wear that much makeup because she’s on a stage in front of a big crowd with bright lights on her. If she didn’t wear heavy makeup, no one in the audience would be able to see her face. It’s not like Leah is letting her kid go to school in that makeup , unlike some other Teen Moms. Three, the kids have to wear a certain kind of clothing to be able to move freely, right? They’re just cheerleading, it’s not like they’re modeling bikinis like You-Know-Who’s kid . Four, if Leah and the rest of these girls’ mothers are fine with this, then isn’t that what’s important? Leah’s been working hard to become a good, stable parent, and it’s nice to see her doing things like this with her children. Let’s not make this a negative thing, OK? Sister Wives Season 11 Episode 8 Recap: Question Time

Following Mariah Brown’s announcement about her sexuality, her family continued to show off just how much they supported her on Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 8 .  The whole family was hanging out at Christine’s house and Christine had this idea that they could all ask questions about each other to see just how well they knew one another.  Watch Sister Wives Season 11 Episode 8 Online Now, you would think that a family as big as the Browns would no one another very well, but apparently not. Her twist on it was that it would be to find out how well the each couple knew one another.  The younger couples seemed against it, but they knew there was no way in a million years that they could have gotten out of playing it.  The kids then dropped the bomb that Kody and his four wives should play. That made sense because it would increase the drama. Would Meri be able to make it through the game without sulking? Apyn and Mariah asked the wives about their first kiss with Kody, but Janelle was apparently the only one who had no idea when her first kiss with Kody was.  Kody then chimed in revealing that it was inside the car. Very romantic. Right? When the family was asked who would be married next, Toni seemed to think that Kody was going to find a fith wife to add to the family, while Mykelti seemed to think it would be her brother getting married next.  Kody was also asked about which one of his wives was the worst driver. To the surprise of no one, he kept neutral and said they were all pretty terrible drivers.  Could you imagine how Meri would have reacted if he said it was her? Something tells us she’s about ready to run off from the family.  Her emotions just always seem to be running high and she’s worried that no one seems to keep her in the loop about things.  Kody later revealed that that he had realized that the whole catfishing scandal had helped him understand that he needed to work on his marriage to Meri.  He did not want it to come to an end because he was not checking everything was okay with her. Before the scandal, he said that he and Meri were always arguing and they could never really understand why.  Kody has been paying more attention to what his wives need from him in order to keep harmony between all of them, but Meri was still kind of sulking. Seriously, why are we watching her sulk all the time? She was playing a fun game with her family and was still complaining. It’s sad, but us viewers are totally over hearing about the catfishing.  It’s been hanging over the show like a dark cloud for far too long now and we need to move on from it. Kim Kardashian: SLAMMED for "Acting Poor" in New Family Photos

Kim Kardashian is finally back. Following about three months away from the spotlight, the mother of two returned to social media in early 2017 via an onslaught of new family photos. They featured Kim and ( soon-to-be-ex? ) husband Kanye West at home, just hanging out, chilling, spending time with their children. They offered fans a rare glimpse into the private world of this global superstar. So why is Kim now the subject of some pretty intense backlash? Because a handful of critics out there are taking Kardashian to task for her supposedly overt attempt to “act poor.” After the reality star got robbed of millions of dollars worth of jewelry in Paris back in early October, some Internet users have noticed how hard Kim is trying to now come across as normal. The pictures depict her without much make-up on… sitting on a shaggy carpet… relaxing on an old couch… one image centers on Kanye eating instant noodles out of a bowl in the kitchen. “Lets act poor for the aesthetic. How rude to people who are actually poor,” one hater wrote of the following snapshot, while another added: “Poverty is not an aesthetic.” Added yet another: “Wats with the same outfit and rusty background like your not living in a luxury mansion, but a clapped up shelter house with cheap furniture?” This is actually a somewhat interesting topic and debate. On one side, it’s easy to see why Kim would choose to show a different side of herself and her family online. She previously flaunted her wealth and her lifestyle at nearly all times, posing with her diamond rings prominent; taking pictures of herself on the grounds of her mansion. And while she cannot reasonably be blamed for what happened to her in Paris , it’s easy to see why it’s a bad idea for any celebrity to be so open about his or her riches. Insiders have said that the assailants who robbed Kim of a $4 million ring learned about said ring as a result of Kim’s Instagram photos. So, in the aftermath of this horrific incident, of course Kardashian should take a different approach to social media. Then again… come on now. Kim and Kanye are still multi, multi, multi-millionaires. The former is off on a trip to Dubai as we type. It’s most definitely a smart move to scale back on how many photos feature gold-plated toilets , for instance. But we can understand how many people out there are conditioned to see everything Kardashian and her family does as being fake, as putting public relations and image and reputation above all else. So can one really be blamed for viewing these pictures as a mere PR stunt? And being turned off by the notion of Kim pretending like she’s suddenly middle class? Elsewhere, according to French newspaper, Le Journal du Dimanche, Kardashian first spoke to authorities about the robbery around 4:30 a.m. on Monday, October 3. She told police in her apartment that she returned there with sister Kourtney Kardashian and stylist Simone Harouche and went upstairs to work on her computer after they went out for the night. “I heard a noise at the door, like footsteps, and I shouted, asking, ‘Who’s there?’ ” she said, according to the report. “No one answered. I called my bodyguard at 2:56 a.m. Through the door, I saw two people arrive, plus the night man who was tied up.” The men donned ski goggles and were dressed like cops, she continued. “It’s the one with the ski goggles who stayed with me,” she said. “He demanded with a strong French accent, my ring. It was on the bedside table. It’s worth 4 million dollars. … I told him that I didn’t know, he took out a gun and I showed him the ring. “They grabbed me and took me into the hallway. I was wearing a bathrobe, naked underneath. Then we went in the room again and they pushed me on the bed. “And, it was this time, they tied me up with plastic cables and taped my hands, then they put tape over my mouth and my legs.” Kim proceeded to outline in detail what had been taken from her room. This included two diamond Cartier bracelets, a gold and diamond Jacob necklace, Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings and a gold Rolex. “I think they robbed me of 5 million dollars,” she said. “Then they left on the run… I felt they were a bit inexperienced because of the way they tied me up.” View Slideshow: Kim Kardashian Photos: THE RETURN! After detailing the robbery, Kardashian told French authorities that she wanted to catch a private plane to reunite with her son, daughter and husband in New York City. Last week, police arrested many suspects in the Kardashian robbery . We can’t imagine going through what Kardashian went through. We sympathize with her. And while we’re often her harshest critics, when it comes to the controversy of this new set of photos, we’re gonna give her the benefit of the doubt. How about you?

Moneice Slaughter Claims Tank Got Her Pregnant Moneice is still out here being crazy AF airing out the men she’s linked with in the past. This time…she’s going toe-to-toe with Tank. Tank gave an interview recently where he referred to Moneice as a “hit it and quit it” situation that occurred way before he linked up with his never-wife Zena Foster. However in a recent interview with All Def Digital, Moneice says not only was their situation ongoing, but it was DURING his age-old relationship with Zena… and produced a child. I was confused as to how you come up here and talk about me for 47 minutes, before you publicize and promote your music. You have a whole live-in woman, who you are still disrespecting by hopping in the DM’s of women that I know, currently. You cheated on her with multiple women, myself included. But then you lied to her and told her that I was before her. And then she cheated on you with The Game and some more people. She also had a c-section to give you a son on your birthday. You’ve got a son that you made on a drunken night, off a lot of Patron. Who you had a very public custody battle for. Who you don’t really see, raise or spend time with. You should focus on your children, your dysfunctional relationship. You should continue to perform at very small venues, disrespecting your woman by allowing female fans to grope your genitalia and raw, sweaty chest I was 19. You were 30 going on 31. You got me pregnant because we had unprotected sex, multiple times and I chose not to keep that pregnancy. YIKES. That Moneice sure ain’t shy about putting her own biz in the streets, now is she? The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 9 Episode 9 Recap: Charl-Lotta Drama

Matt Jordan is turning out to be one of the most horrid people on reality TV. Yes, we’d even rank him as worse than the likes of Spencer Pratt.  We kicked off The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 9 Episode 9 with Kenya Moore getting Cynthia Bailey up to speed on what had been going on with Matt.  All of this chatter was going on while the pair took their dogs to the groomers. Kenya was quick to point out that her father had been instrumental in mediating the drama between her and Matt.  “He wants us to take a break,” Kenya explained. “He wants Matt to do some therapy, work on himself, and he wants me to do the same.” Now, we’re not going out there and saying that Kenya is one of the nicest women, but she certainly does not deserve to be treated the way Matt has treated her.  The ladies switched gears to a new drama: Peter Thomas called Kenya and asked her to host the opening of his new club in Charlotte.  If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online , you will already know that Peter is Cynthia’s soon-to-be-ex-husband. Now, you could tell she was disappointed that he was going to these measures to piss her off, but she was adamant that she was not annoyed with Kenya.  Kenya then came to the conclusion that it would be a good idea for Cynthia to go with her and be her special guest. She agreed.  Peter then hit up Todd Tucker to invite him to the lavish bash, while dropping the bomb that he had also invited Matt. Hey, what could go wrong when you invite the likes of Matt Jordan to a party? Meanwhile, Kandi Burruss took a whole lot of issue with a former employee who was calling her out on social media for being “fake.” Turns out, the dude was still working for her at certain events and she wasted no time in getting a hold of him at the next event.  When confronted, he claimed that he was not a fan of the way his departure was handled. He even went as far as claiming that she was not paying him enough.  Yeah, that explains why he wanted the permanent job back. Right? As you can probably expect, Kandi was less than impressed with the guy calling her out for stuff that just simply was not true.  “You can call me a bitch and you can call me an a–hole, but you cannot call me fake!” Something tells us he’s no longer on Kandi’s Christmas card list.  While Kandi seemed to think that was the end of it, Johnnie dropped by Phaedra’s office with the aim of filing a lawsuit against his former boss.  Johnnie claimed that he was getting a measly $500 a week with zero benefits and was working 80 hours a week. That’s a whole lot of work for not a lot of dough.  As much as Phaedra wanted to be the one to take the case, she was wise enough to know that the case was not in her area of expertise.  Sometime later, Kenya had a change of heart and asked Peter to cancel Matt’s plane ticket because she did not think it was a good idea for him to show up.  Matt took to social media to vent his frustration at the fiasco.  View Slideshow: 19 Real Housewives Who Only Lasted One Season “I just got done running through the terminal to catch a flight to go to the grand opening of Peter’s club in North Carolina, and guess who cancelled my ticket? Kenya Moore.” Kenya then read out some of the text messages Matt was sending her to a very shocked Cynthia. He was threatening her. Cynthia thought the best move was to get the cops involved.  When Kenya showed up at the event, Matt appeared. Maybe this show is more scripted than we give it credit for.  Matt made a beeline for Kenya’s car, but it was clear she did not want anything to do with him. When the driver tried to roll up the window, Matt punched him in the face.  After that, everyone seemed to agree that there was just no coming back from that outburst for the couple and Kenya was forced to think about the very real possibility that she and Matt just weren’t meant to be.  What do you think about it? Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 7 Recap: Mariah Makes an Announcement

The best thing about Sister Wives is when the family rallies round one of their own.  That’s exactly what happened on Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 7 , when Mariah stunned her family with a shocking announcement.  The whole family seemed to think she was going to reveal she was in a relationship with someone, but they did not expect her to tell them she was gay.  The family were quickly to give her the support she sought and it was pretty amazing. Mariah was quick to point out that it was far from an easy decision to come clean to her family.  Robyn understood that it must have taken a lot of courage to tell the family the truth because of them being a plural family. She and Janelle were quick to accept Mariah for who she was, but Meri and Kody had been completely blindsided.  You could tell they were trying to process the revelation their daughter had just revealed to them. Surprisingly, the thing that helped Kody make sense of it was that he had entertained the possibility of one of his own being gay before.  Kody let his daughter know that he would never like the thought of one of his children not being loved. It was then that he let Mariah know that he would love her no matter what.  Meri claimed that she was mostly upset because she did not even suspect it. She assumed her daughter was straight and would marry a man one day.  With Meri’s relationship with Mariah on thin ice, Robyn and Kody went to speak to Meri about her feelings because they did not want Meri to send mixed emotions Mariah’s way.  Meri decided it was best to choose the family vacation as the best time to talk to her daughter about everything. Meri was cautious about what she was going to say.  She feared that she made their relationship even more strained, but there was a slim chance of that. Their relationship was pretty much in tatters.  When Meri questioned how Mariah came to the conclusion she was gay, Mariah was quick to shut it down. Her reason? It was personal. Meri tried to relay that she was confused about her feelings to Mariah, but things got tense when she said the word “weird.” Mariah took this personally and thought her mother was calling her weird, but she really was not. There was something that seemed odd about the scene because Meri kept randomly laughing.  This irked Mariah even more, who felt her mother was making fun of her. When Meri tried to bring up being in Mariah’s life more, Mariah shut it down. She was not ready to let her mother back in.  Mariah did let her mother know that her time away from the family helped her come to terms with her feelings, so that’s why she enjoyed the independence.  Later, Meri continued to try and get all the attention on her when the family went out for dinner. After a multitude of questions about Mariah’s sexuality, she revealed that she initially came out to her brother Logan.  Meri sobbed that she wanted it to be her. Is this woman trying to cry the family a river, or something? Fixer Upper Season 5 Confirmed; Are Changes Afoot?

Chip and Joanna Gaines are moving full speed ahead with Fixer Upper. The beloved couple – whose chemistry is the reason why HGTV has found such success with this show about home renovation and design – aren’t letting a little scandal get in the way of their reality television dreams. To what scandal are we referring? Toward the end of 2016, Buzzfeed published a lengthy profile of Jimmy Seibert, the pastor at the church typically attended by Chip, Joanna and their children in Waco, Texas. The article highlighted Seibert’s anti-homosexual views, quoting from sermons and interviews in which Seibert came out against gay marriage and sounded as if he believed in gay conversion therapy. The pastor also has said that homosexuality is often a result of an addiction to pornography an that 90% homosexuals have been abused in some fashion . Controversial stances, to be sure. But Chip and Joanna simply attend this church. Should they be held accountable for every opinion expressed by their pastor? Should fans care about what is said behind church doors and do Chip and Joanna have a responsibility to share their religious views with the public? In response, Chip simply called for “respect” via Twitter . Also in response, viewership has not waned one bit. Fixer Upper remains wildly popular. So popular, in fact, that Joanna recently confirmed that filming for Season 5 is underway. It started about three weeks ago, with a rumored premiere date of November 2017. “We have some cool new projects coming that we will keep you updated on as we make progress,” Joanna also wrote on her official blog, explaining in more detail: “Our new restaurant is opening in 2017 which will serve breakfast, brunch and lunch. Chip has wanted a breakfast joint for years and he finally found the perfect spot for it, and I’m not going to lie, he is also super excited about serving ham sandwiches and bacon. “The Elite Cafe was one of the oldest restaurants in Waco, but it closed down last year and we are excited about bringing it back to life.” Elsewhere, Chip responded in length to the aforementioned pastor controversy. He took far more than 140 characters to do so, sounding as if he recognizes the issue at hand and wants to make everyone feel like they are part of the Fixer Upper family. “This past year has been tough,” Chip blogged on January 2 , adding: “In my lifetime, I can’t recall humanity being more divided. Plenty of folks are sad and scared and angry and there are sound bites being fed to us that seem fueled by judgement, fear and even hatred. “Jo and I refuse to be baited into using our influence in a way that will further harm an already hurting world, this is our home. We are not about to get in the nasty business of throwing stones at each other, don’t ask us to cause we won’t play that way. In 2017: We have decided to change the conversation . You wanna talk about how to build bridges between people that disagree? We want to be a part of that conversation. Do you want to talk about healing and compassion and kindness and restoration? We’re in the restoration business, we can for sure make time for that…. Jo and I feel called to be bridge builders. We want to help initiate conversations between people that don’t think alike. Listen to me, we do not all have to agree with each other. Disagreement is not the same thing as hate, don’t believe that lie….Our family wants to fight for a world that knows how to lovingly disagree. We believe it starts when we operate from a position of love in all things. If your position only extends love to the people who agree with you, we want to respectfully challenge that position. We propose operating with a love so real and true that you are willing to roll up your sleeves and work alongside the very people that are most unlike you. Fear dissolves in close proximity. Our stereotypes and vain imaginations fall away when we labor side by side. This is how a house gets unified.
