If you’re one of those people who thinks that Spongebob occasionally goes too far, then you might not want to watch this clip from Bacillakuten, a Swedish cartoon designed to teach young children about the human body: Swedish Penis and Vagina Cartoon Yes, that’s a cartoon penis and vagina bouncing around like something from Miley Cyrus’ Instagram page come to life. The clip has racked up nearly 3 million views on YouTube, making “Willie” and “Snippan” the Internet stars of the moment. (We’re guessing Willie is the penis?) Unfortunately, not everyone who’s watched the video sees the humor or educational value in it. “You’ve gone too far!” wrote one user, adding that her children her no longer be permitted to watch the Bacillakuten YouTube channel. Others have shot back, noting that the show is designed to teach kids about their bodies and, well…genitals are part of the body: “Shame on you!” wrote one irate parent. “What do you say to your kids when they ask about sex!” Kasja Peters, the show’s director issued a statement saying that the content for the show is based on questions that producers receive from children. She added, “When there is so much discussion and debate, maybe that means it’s something that society needs.” We agree. They must be doing something right. After all, this is the most attention paid to a dong since Ben Affleck got naked in Gone Girl . #FreeWillie
