The Kourtney and Kim Take Miami regular recently told Us Weekly that he takes the public digs at his bestie personally, especially the most recent one, from Kardashian’s ex Ray J. “When I saw that idiot Ray J make a song about her, you know I held myself back from twittering that Ray J is a real r*t*rd,” he told Us at the Blacks annual gala in Miami on Saturday, April 13. “But you know, I can’t deal with a thousand people twittering back and forth so I let it go. Tahiry Disses Kaylin For Playing ‘Innocent’ Last week, we saw Love & Hip Hop cast members Joe Budden, Tahiry and Kaylin come face to face with each other for the second time during the season while discussing their never-ending love triangle during part 1 of the LHHNY Reunion show. While part 2 of the reunion show doesn’t air until tonight, VH1 caught up with big booty Tahiry backstage just before she took her spot on the couch to get the real deal on her situation with Joe, how she really feels about Kaylin’s position and more. That’s why I acted all emotional the other day and actually instagramed the conversation where he was texting me because he sits around in interviews and he says stuff like, “My relationship is great and this and that and the third;” and behind the scenes it’s something different. One day I just got fed up and was like alright since you wanna act like you guys are all chilling and skipping to the rainbow, this is what’s really happening. I’m tired of looking like im the crazy one, like I am the bully like I am the one running after him. At some point you’re like enough. It’s been eight years of up and down, back and forth, are you ever tired of it? “Of course! I’m human. I’m sure he has been sick of it too. We go back and forth through friendship, we question getting back together a few times. At some point that’s why we stay away if I can’t deal I’ll disappear, I don’t answer his texts, his phone calls, his anything and I’m sure he goes through his couple months then he comes back for another dose. Even in friendship it’s just been really, really hard to figure out.” It seems like you put him before yourself. “I did, I have.” Why? “I can’t explain it. UltraViolet — a women’s rights group 400,000 strong — is incensed the company is not dumping Ross in the wake of his new song, which fantasizes about date rape. The song — “U.O.E.N.O.” — has a line, “Put Molly all in the champagne. She ain’t even know it. I took her home and I enjoy that. She ain’t even know it.” Molly is slang for Ecstasy. The group — along with 150 rape survivors — grouses, “Every single day that Reebok continues rewarding Rick Ross with a lucrative endorsement deal, Reebok is condoning rape.” We reached out to Reebok today, but we got crickets. As for Ross … he issued a lukewarm apology, saying the lyrics were misunderstood and he never used the word rape. It’s finally time for Shaniya Davis’ accused killer to face a judge and jury! Via The Fayetteville Observer : The father of Shaniya Davis says he has forgiven her mother. But Bradley Lockhart said he often finds himself reflecting on what might have been, four years after Shaniya was sexually assaulted and killed in a case that has attracted national attention. Shaniya would have turned 9 on Valentine’s Day. “We were extremely close,” Lockhart said. “Shaniya spent the majority of time with me and her siblings. You miss those days. The first day she got on a bicycle. Her brother pushing her around with training wheels on it. You miss her scratching your car with a scooter. You miss birthdays. You wonder who she would be today. “It’s extremely hard when you see other kids in the neighborhood and watch them grow up. That’s one of my frequent thoughts when I sit on my porch.” The case first captured national attention in November 2009, when the child’s mother, Antoniette Nicole Davis, reported Shaniya missing from a mobile home where they were staying off Murchison Road. The report kicked off a nationwide search involving the FBI and the U.S. Marshal’s Service. Pictures of Shaniya aired on national television shows, and Fayetteville police said they received hundreds of tips. Shaniya’s body was found six days later. Police say Davis fabricated the story about her missing child after selling Shaniya to McNeill, who allegedly assaulted her in a Sanford hotel before killing her and dumping her body along N.C. 87 in Harnett County. Davis, 28, will be tried after McNeill. She faces charges that include first-degree murder, child abuse, sexual servitude, human trafficking and child sex assault. Her trial is expected to last about a month. If convicted, Davis is looking at life in prison without parole. She is accused of handing over the child to McNeill to settle a drug debt. “I don’t know what was going through her mind at that time. I can’t give you an honest answer on that,” Lockhart said. “Would I ever have expected Antoniette to make a decision like this or did she make a decision like this? I would not have expected any mother to make a decision like this with their child. “If I had known she would have made a decision like this, Shaniya would never have been there.” Lockhart said he has not spoken to Davis since her confinement. “Me, personally, I’ve forgiven her,” he said. “I think blame is too direct, as far as personally. What are you blaming? The death of Shaniya or (Davis’) actions? It’s too broad. Too opinioned.” Lockhart spoke by phone late last month from his home in Alabama, where he says he had planned to move for a job before his daughter’s death. He works as a regional environmental safety manager for a construction company. Through the years, he has returned to Fayetteville on occasion. He said he plans to be in the courtroom for most of the trials. As far as he knows, Lockhart said, he will not be called as a witness. Following Shaniya’s murder, Lockhart received criticism for allowing his daughter to stay with Davis in Sleepy Hollow Mobile Home Park. Last month, Lockhart said he had no idea that Shaniya and her mother were living at that location with Davis’ sister. “I had given her a deposit to live in her own place. It was downtown,” he said. “I had no knowledge of that. I still don’t know why she was at the other place. Was she evicted? I don’t know.” Damn… We truly feel for this man. The capital murder trial for Mario Andrette McNeill, the man accused of killing Shaniya started today in Cumberland County Superior Court. Sadly it seems that much of mainstream national media has stopped checking for Shaniya’s story… The Observer says the court didn’t receive any requests from national cable media to cover the trial. McNeill’s charges include first-degree murder, child sex assault, kidnapping, child abuse, human trafficking and sexual exploitation of a child and he is facing the death penalty. The trial is expected to last six to eight weeks. In February, McNeill proclaimed his innocence in two handwritten letters he mailed to The Fayetteville Observer from the Cumberland County Detention Center. In one letter, he wrote: “I did not take or kidnap Shaniya Davis. I did not purchase, buy, trade, sell or exchange Shaniya Davis. I did not molest, sexually assault, rape or ravish Shaniya Davis. I did not kill, murder, or take Shaniya Davis’s life, nor did I have any prior or beforehand knowledge as to what was to and/or did occur.” Do you believe he should be put to death?

Grandmother In North Carolina Found Dead In Her Wrecked Car 3 Day After It Was Towed Via ABC The family of a North Carolina grandmother whose body was found inside her wrecked car three days after it was towed said today they believe she would still be alive if a state trooper had noticed her. Carolyn Ann Watkins, 62, was found dead inside her 2000 Pontiac at a towing lot on Monday. “There was not much swelling and stuff like that, so we think she was living in that vehicle,” Patricia Parker, Watkins’ daughter-in-law, told ABCNews.com. State Trooper M.D. Williams found Watkins’ car Friday morning in a ditch near Smithfield, a town 30 miles southeast of Raleigh. Wow… Dustin’s Towing was called to the scene to remove the vehicle from the ditch and keep it for storage. Parker said the family was never notified about the crash and contacted the Smithfield Police Department on Monday when Watkins did not show up for work. Dallas Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban Says He Would Draft Brittney Griner Via ESPN Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban would be willing to give Baylor women’s star Brittney Griner the opportunity to prove she could play in the NBA. Cuban said he would consider selecting Griner, a 6-foot-8 three-time All-American and Big 12 player of the year, in the second round of the NBA draft. If the Mavs don’t draft her, Cuban said he would have “no problem whatsoever” inviting Griner to try out for a spot on Dallas’ summer league team. “If she is the best on the board, I will take her,” Cuban said before the Mavs’ Tuesday night game against the Los Angeles Lakers. “I’ve thought about it. I’ve thought about it already. Would I do it? Right now, I’d lean toward yes, just to see if she can do it. You never know unless you give somebody a chance, and it’s not like the likelihood of any late-50s draft pick has a good chance of making it.” Griner dominated women’s college basketball with her size and athleticism, scoring 3,283 points and blocking 748 shots in her career. She also had 18 dunks, including 11 her senior season. Griner would love the opportunity. “I would hold my own! Lets do it.” she wrote on Twitter on Tuesday night in response to Cuban. A woman trying out for an NBA team is not unprecedented. Former UCLA star Ann Meyers tried out for the Indiana Pacers in 1979. Cuban said it’s difficult to evaluate whether Griner could play in the NBA because of the caliber of her competition, comparing it to scouting players from small schools. However, Cuban said he was absolutely serious about at least extending an invitation for Griner to try out this summer. “She’d still have to make the team,” Cuban said. “I’m not going to carry her just to carry her. I don’t think, anyways. But I certainly wouldn’t be opposed to giving her the opportunity.” Never one to ignore the bottom line of a business venture, when it was mentioned that Brittney’s presence in the league would be very, VERY profitable Cuban added: “It would, wouldn’t it? See how she could do?” Cuban said. “That’d sell out a few games.” Even in a social experiment, money is a still a major issue. Put your money where your mouth is Mark!
