Kudos to the folks over at JET for one of the best cover stories we’ve read in a minute! Don Cheadle is the mag’s front man this time around and he shows his funny side in the feature, probably a good idea since he’s preparing to premiere his new Showtime series “House Of Lies” very soon. He executive produces and stars in the show about a greedy management consultant who has a cross-dressing son and a father who lives with him. Check out a few of our favorite excerpts from the story below: On His Resemblance To Conrade Murray: “(Conrad Murray) is actually my passion project. You hit it! I want to play Conrad Murray, but I want to do him in drag and somewhat mentally disabled because that’s what will get me my Oscar. Oh wait, for Black people you have to be like a prostitute or a gangster. I’ll do him as a prostitute and I’ll definitely get that Oscar!” On His 20 Year Relationship with Bridgid Coulter (the couple has 2 daughters, Ayana, 17 and Imani, 15): “We were married in a pagan ritual,” jokes Cheadle. “No it just wasn’t planned. Our first daughter wasn’t planned and it just happened. So we were like, we’re together. Are we supposed to get married now? After 20 years, I guess we could. It’s just never been a priority.” On Not Being Hollywood: “It’s not me,” says Cheadle. “If I suddenly became ‘that guy,’ it would seem ridiculous. I’ll kill a hooker or something, or get into a bar fight with Jamie Foxx. I dunno!” On Obama: “I think he inherited an impossible situation. I wish he had not been so much of a consensus-seeker. Here he goes again… After already providing his illuminating views on the Kardashian clan and their success, actor Daniel Craig has continued to speak with candor, this time on the subject of politicians. Daniel Craig isn’t one to mince words, and in the latest issue of Men’s Health, he has found his latest target: politicians. “You immediately are aligning yourself with a political party,” Craig told the magazine. “Politicians are sh–heads. That’s how they become politicians, even the good ones. “We’re actors, we’re artists, we’re very nice to each other. They’ll turn around and stab you in the f–king back.” Craig, 43, earlier this year called the Kardashians “f–king idiots” for parading around Hollywood televising their most intimate moments, and his assessment of kowtowing politicians is no less flattering. “Tony Blair started it much more than anybody’s ever done,” he said of politicians who attempt to be on-the-ins with the celebrity crowd. “It becomes ‘Mephisto,’ ” he said, referencing a 1981 film about an actor who aligns with the Nazis in order to climb the social ladder. One man who balances on the line between politicians and celebrity that the “James Bond” actor does respect, however, is George Clooney. “George has his finger on the political pulse, and he’s one of those guys who can get up and talk, and I don’t have that … If someone shoves a microphone in your face and says, ‘Explain yourself,’ you have to have a 100% understanding of why you’re doing it, and unless you’re 100%, don’t f–king do it, leave it alone, let your work speak for itself.” We like this guy, he just tells it like it is. In 2012 Diddy will be attempting to expand his liquor empire by creating his own brand of tequila. “There isn’t one particular tequila that I love and I’ve been spending a lot of time in Mexico,” Combs told me today while promoting his recently released second Rat Pack-inspired commercial for Cîroc vodka. “So in the next year, you will probably see me going toe to toe with John Paul [Jones DeJoria], who owns Patrón,” he added. “I’ll be challenging him to who makes the best, smoothest and most authentic tequila in the world.” Combs is keeping a lid on details, but says he’ll partner with a “true tequila artiste.” The music mogul will still continue to promote his premium brand vodka, Ciroc. In fact, he is actually working with the “Housewives” franchise on Bravo TV in a new ad campaign. He even admits that he has a favorite “homemaker”… In the meantime, he and Cîroc have joined forces with Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise for a holiday campaign to promote responsible drinking and safe driving. “I’m a reality-show junkie,” Combs said. Ninja please!! Maybe Jerry Sandusky’s lawyers should stop talking to the press for a while. Karl Rominger, a Carlisle, Pa., lawyer who recently joined the accused child molester’s defense team, says Sandusky may have showered with boys to teach them “basic hygiene skills.” “Some of these kids don’t have basic hygiene skills,” Rominger told WHTM-TV on Tuesday. “Teaching a person to shower at the age of 12 or 14 sounds strange to some people, but people who work with troubled youth will tell you there are a lot of juvenile delinquents and people who are dependent who have to be taught basic life skills like how to put soap on their body.” Sandusky, Penn State football coach Joe Paterno’s longtime defensive coordinator, has been charged with 52 counts of sexual abuse. He is accused of molesting 10 boys he met through The Second Mile, a charity he founded for underprivileged kids. A grand jury report released last month says Mike McQueary, now Penn State’s receivers coach, saw Sandusky rape a boy in a campus shower. In interviews with NBC’s Bob Costas and The New York Times Sandusky admitted showering and engaging in horseplay with boys in Penn State locker rooms, but said nothing sexual had occurred. Over the weekend, Kelly Rowland explained why she didn’t end her X-Factor UK run by falling into some man’s arms somewhere: it’s because she doesn’t have a man of her own. And she knows exactly why. “The desire to be in control and decide everything myself as much as possible gets in the way,” says Kelly.”The fact that I can act a little bossy has ruined quite a few dates. I choose the restaurant, I open the door myself, sometimes I’ll even pay the bill. I really have to learn to let a man be a gentleman. “That’s probably one of the reasons why I’m single. I get in the way of myself when it comes to men.” Luckily, Kelly – who has previously been linked to manager tim Weatherspoon – is pretty happy being single. Here are some more excerpts from MJB’s interview with Piers Morgan …this time she discusses how she wish she grew up like Beyonce: Mary J. Blige wishes she had Beyonce’s stable upbringing, insisting her life and career would have been less rocky if her parents had stayed together. The Crazy In Love hitmaker is famously close to her parents, Mathew and Tina Knowles, who helped manage her career from her early days in Destiny’s Child. Blige, whose father left her mother when she was four, admits she envies the singer’s happy childhood as her own was so drastically different, and she believes she would have thrived if her parents had not divorced. Blige tells Cnn’s Piers Morgan, “You gotta look at a life like that (Beyonce’s), with a mother and a father and a child and they’re raising and they’re in the music business with her where there is just so many vultures and people who don’t ever tell you the truth… and to look at her life, and to look at how graceful and beautiful and what a lady she is, it just inspired me. “It made me a little sad because I wish I had that growing up, I wish my mom and dad had been together and I wish that they could have saw (sic) me through the music business and managed me and who knows how much further I would be and how much hell I wouldn’t have gone through.” Beyonce’s parents split in 2009 following allegations that Mathew Knowles fathered a love child with another woman. The bandleader who chose to play Fishbone’s “Lyin’ Ass B—-” as Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachman took the stage on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” last week says the joke wasn’t worth all the backlash. The musician says he’s received a slew of hate messages and racial epithets from Bachmann supporters and Tea Party members since leading house band The Roots to play the snarky song that introduced the Minnesota Congresswoman onto the show. “I’ve seen some really colorful epithets in the past four days,” he told Pitchfork. “Blocking 3,500 tea party extremists in a three day period is no fun, especially when you’re a drummer dangerously close to carpal tunnel,” he went on. “In the end, was it worth it? Absolutely not.” Questlove said he never thought the song would cause so much reaction. “It wasn’t like a chess move where you have to think 12 steps ahead,” he said. “You’re just, like, ‘F—, all right, I’m gonna do it,’ in a kamikaze-type way. And I really didn’t think about how it could be perceived as a misogynist swipe – it didn’t hit me until my [Twitter] timeline started showing up that it was seen that way.” The afro’ed drummer went on to say: “It deeply offended a lot of women’s groups and non-Bachmann supporters, and for that I’m deeply sorry,” he told Pitchfork. “I’m not parading like I’m the poster boy for the feminist movement, but those who truly know me know that that’s not me. Too bad those K-cakes didn’t work for Kimmy on DWTS: Rob Kardashian took the floor Monday night for DWTS’ semi-final round and quickly showed off his sultry samba moves, aided, of course, by a few strategically placed booty shakes. Striving to compete with front-runner J.R. Martinez — who struggled with an ankle injury this week — Kardashian went into the routine confident that luck was on his side. “In the past, I’ve gotten points off for sticking my butt out, but in the samba, it’s a lot of hip action and booty shaking,” he reasoned before hitting the floor with pro Cheryl Burke. “Apparently, my butt is my secret weapon in the samba. Emily B. Says Since She Let Fab Go “A Whole New World Opened Up” For Her

Emily Bustamante aka Emily B. aka Fab’s “Baby Mama” aka the chick he wouldn’t claim after 8 years together spent most of the first season of “Love & Hip-Hop” in tears over his a$$. The new season of “Love & Hip-Hop” kicks off tonight and we’re hopeful she’s got drier eyes this time around. In the meantime, Crème Magazine has relaunched a new section called THE VIP LIST where celebrities, icons and personalities share their world in their own words. Contributors like Danny Simmons, CNN Correspondent Ryan Mack, Mike B and many others will be joined by a few ladies from Love & Hip Hop. Over the course of season 2 they have a few surprise contributors from the show. First up, is Emily Bustamante who opens up about Faboluous and her healing: On Healing, One Step At A Time I always say that I’m not the best person for advice. Don’t ask me! [laughs] It really feels good to have women come up to me and say, “I watch your story, and I could relate to you so much. I was going through the same thing.” And these are regular women and their men have regular jobs. They weren’t even in this world of hip hop. And that was so powerful to me, because I was like wow, my story is actually impacting other people’s lives. My thing is, if I can do it, anybody can do it. Because I just thought that my life couldn’t exist without him. He was my everything. And I realized that once I let him go, you know, so many other things– great things– came to me. A whole new world opened up for me. And both of us changed from it. So sometimes you have to make some changes in your life. To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did. And that’s what I had to do, and it was for the better. My life is so different now, and I’m happy. It’s just been a great journey, and hopefully someone else can learn from my mistakes. I have my moments. And I can sit here and say, I do still love him. My love for him didn’t change. But I love me more. And I love my children more. And I know that I have to focus on that. Love doesn’t go away, but sometimes you just have to let it go. And it just made a lot of things around me much stronger. I focused on my career. When you’re in a relationship sometimes and you’re going through it, you kind of forget about everything else that needs to happen in your life. I just focused on my clothing line. And that’s my man [laughs]. You know, that’s my baby. And I put all my energy into that. And really, just having a goal, or maybe a hobby, or just focusing on something else, really helped me. My clothing line is definitely something that keeps me busy, and it keeps my thoughts on that. Because [healing] is definitely a long process, and it takes a lot of work. And if your mind ain’t right, there’s no way in the world that you can accomplish something like that. So, I had to get my mind right. Writing is another passion of mine. I empty my thoughts in my writing, and it’s usually about love [laughs]. Sounds like a whole lot of truth there. Change is hard but some changes are necessary in order to grow. It seems like Emily B. has grown a whole lot, but at the end of the day only time will tell if this change is permanent or just temporary. Cuz we all know how open she is off that guy riiiiight? Herman Cain’s wife Gloria finally got her closeup, and it sounds like she used most of it to help her husband’s credibility. Herman Cain’s wife says the claims of sex harassment against the GOP presidential candidate don’t ring true because he “totally respects women.” Gloria Cain told Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren: “I’m thinking he would have to have a split personality to do the things that were said.” In an interview to be aired Monday during the show “On the Record,” Gloria Cain said she can’t believe the claims he harassed women when he led the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s. “You hear the graphic allegations and we know that would have been something that’s totally disrespectful of her as a woman,” she said. “And I know the type of person he is. He totally respects women.” Excerpts of the interview were released Sunday. Four women have now accused Herman Cain of sexually harassing them when he led the National Restaurant Association. He has denied wrongdoing and has been trying to move forward in his presidential campaign. Cain’s wife of 43 years is often described as “gentle” and “the nicest woman you’ll ever meet.” The two were married in 1968, have two adult children — a daughter, Melanie, and a son, Vincent — and grandchildren.
