Life is all about decisions. Sometimes those decisions are tough and we hope they work out for the best. Unfortunately, that is not always the case. In the case of these actors the decisions they made regarding their careers might have set them back in status and money. No one can totally predict if a film will do well or not, plenty of movies have been made with big name directors and huge budgets that no one ever went to see. We found several examples of these actors/actresses and decided to bring you some of the most incredible. Flip the script to see the list.
Ever since the super-trailer for the second season of Vh1′s “Love & Hip-Hop” was released, people haven’t been talking nonstop about the impending DRAMA! It turns out that besides beating down Juelz Santana’s babymama Kimbella for divulging the details of her past with Fabolous, she was also trying to catch fade with her boo Jim Jones’ manager Yandy Smith, who is also on the show. Our homegirls at Parlour Magazine caught up with Yandy and were kind enough to share a few excerpts from the interview. Check them out below: We heard you and Chrissy came to blows during a taping, what can you tell us? Whenever you’re a woman in the entertainment industry, you’ve got to deal with the wives and girlfriends of your artists. I’m cool with all of my other clients and their ladies but when women have insecurities or feel threatened by your career, they act bad and if they’re a hood chick, they’ll act hood. We love Jim here on Parlour, but sometimes women can be driven to crazy town. Have you ever seen a reason for Chrissy to be insecure, like infidelity? Now you know I can’t answer that question, as much as I would love to, I can’t. [laughs] Seeing that reality shows are a — guilty pleasure and — sometimes violent mess and “Love & Hip-Hop” is a reality show, why join the cast? “Basketball Wives” and “Love & Hip-Hop” show women living glamorous lifestyles they didn’t work to get it, they inherited it. When I joined I was very specific that there would be no shots of my boyfriend, just me as a professional. I wanted to show you don’t have to wait for some athlete or rapper to take you home and that’s how you get it. Unfortunately there was so much drama … Has the violence and high-ratings of “Basketball Wives” made cast members like Chrissy eager to fight this season? Yes, I still don’t know why the fight between Chrissy and Kim happened. It was crazy, like ‘Are you looking for an Evelyn moment right now? Stop.’ You’ve stopped managing Jim because of Chrissy, what made you leave? I care about Jim’s happiness. His mother can make her own decisions with Chrissy because that’s his mom, but he and I choose to work together, we don’t have to. It got to a point where he wouldn’t answer my phone calls if she was in the house and we had business to do. He’s doing himself a disservice. I’m not trying to stop your money because the b***h doesn’t like me. Wow. It looks like Chrissy really met her match this time. We think Yandy made a good point about how most of these ladies “inherited” the glamorous life instead of earning it. We’re interested to watch how she works once the season kicks off. –
BeyBey is singing BFF Kelly Rowland’s praises these days. The superstar mom-to-be brags that her bestest is always looking out for her and her lil hump full of Camel: Kelly Rowland may be busy with her X Factor mentoring duties, but she’s still a loyal and caring friend to Beyoncé Knowles. The Destiny’s Child bandmates are in regular contact – especially since Beyoncé fell pregnant. ‘We speak and text all the time,’ says Beyoncé, 30. ‘With me being pregnant, she is always checking up on me to see how I am doing.’ Kelly, 30, formed a special bond with Beyoncé when she moved into her home after they formed Destiny’s Child at the age of 8. ‘We have known each other for so long, we are like sisters,’ she says. ‘She isn’t just somebody I was in a group with, this girl is my family.’ Aw that’s so precious. It’s nice that folks have let up on comparing the two ladies and are celebrating them being besties again. Congratulations to Kelly who happens to be on the cover of the new Essence Magazine Hot Hair Special Issue… check it out below: Source
Earlier today, certified MILF-y banger Nicole Murphy proudly shared this latest milestone in her baby girl Bria ‘s modeling career. Bria is featured in a new spread for Maxim’s November issue, where they ask her enough questions to show you that there’s more to her than a banging body who will remain just as bangin’ as she grows, if her mother is any indication . But we know it’s too late in the day for you fellas to care about any of that. So here are the pics and nothing but the pics.
BeyBey is all about love these days! She and her bodyguard boo Julius were spotted escorting her bump around to more NYC offices Thursday while she rocked a Love Potion No. 9 sweater. The singer has been chitchattering away about how much she loves the city of London: The 30-year-old singer – who is expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z – is hoping to return to the U.K. capital with her spouse at the end of the year to support close friend Kelly Rowland at the ‘X Factor’ final as she knows she will have a good time there. She said: “If we can both be there, we will. We both love the U.K., we love London as a city, and we value our British fans. London is so beautiful. Every time we come, we have a lot of fun, so if we can be there then we will be there.” Maybe they should name the baby London — instead of Brooklyn like so many folks have suggested. And Bey also admitted that Kelly has a job she doesn’t want! While Beyonce enjoys watching ‘The X Factor’ she doesn’t think she would be able to be a judge on the show like Kelly, because it takes such a huge commitment and she doesn’t have the time to support the contestants in the way they need. Asked if she would be a judge, she told new! magazine: “It’s a big commitment, it’s not just a show you are doing, it’s about changing people’s lives. I would want to give my acts everything I had, and I don’t think for the next few years that’s going to be possible.” Yeah, cuz you know she is Beyonce and she has way too much on her plate, but uh, Kelly has plenty of time on her hands… SMH Check out more photos from Bey and Julius’ outing on the next page. Hollyweird banger and celebrity seed Rashida Jones did an interview with Playboy where she talks about being a nerd, making her famous parents proud and recounts some funny stories from kicking it with Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra. Check out a few of our favorite moments from the interview below: Rashida talks being a nerd instead of Hollyweird royalty: Q1 PLAYBOY: You star on Parks and Recreation and have roles in three movies this year, including this season’s The Big Year. And didn’t you go to Harvard? We’re all slackers by comparison, you realize. JONES: It’s just who I am, I guess. I came out of the womb reading books and thinking about my next project. I’m a born nerd. There’s also this thing of wanting to make your parents proud. Q2 PLAYBOY: But with parents like Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton, shouldn’t you be lounging around your pool all day? JONES: Look, I have parents who have accomplished so much. I have a father who came from nothing and conquered the world. The last thing I’m going to do is sit here and spend his money and try to look pretty. That’s not interesting to me at all. I’ve been acting professionally for 15 years, and I’ve had to prove myself. Someone may think, Oh, everything was handed to her, but it doesn’t really work that way. The nice thing about comedy in particular is that it’s a meritocracy. Funny people aren’t going to have you around because you know other people. You have to make people laugh. Q10 PLAYBOY: You seem so wholesome. Were you ever really bad? JONES: Well, in high school I never drank, I never smoked, I never smoked weed. I was president of the varsity club and was on the math team and then student government. I was in every activity. I saved all the bad stuff for college. Q11 PLAYBOY: Give us one image, please . JONES: Okay. Picture me with eight gay dudes, all of us wearing matching BVDs and sparkles on our faces, with glow sticks and pacifiers and backpacks and skater jeans, at an all-night rave, out of our minds somewhere in Rhode Island until eight a.m. Mostly, though, college was me trying to look cooler than I was. There were definitely some Carhartt jeans and backward Kangol caps in my repertoire. Carhartt’s and Kangols? And we thought Rashida was out of touch with her black side. We gotta give her props for doing her own thing and not living off Mom and Dad too. Keep reading for Rashida’s answers about her love life and thoughts on marriage.
Kim Kardashian may know how to make money but no one ever said she was the smartest cookie of the bunch. Ryan Seacrest chopped it up with Kim on his radio show about when she and Kris would start making babies. Here’s the flow of convo: Ryan Seacrest:Kris said when you first met, he saw you being the mother of his kids. When will he see that? Kim K: I think we want to figure out where he’s gonna play and where he’s gonna live. Ryan Seacrest: What if he signed with the Oklahoma Thunder? What would you do? Kim K: Is that a real team? Khloe, have you heard of that team?… *crickets* Kim K: I would go to Oklahoma City … we’re not going to live a separate life. SMH… Grant it, Oklahoma is not that big of a deal but Kevin Durant is! At least she would move there… Is Oklahoma exciting?!?

Former Vice-President Dick Cheney and his daughter Liz seem to think so… Former Vice President Dick Cheney praised the Obama administration Sunday for using a drone strike to kill American-born Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, but said President Barack Obama should now reverse past criticism of former President George W. Bush’s actions against suspected terrorists. Al-Awlaki — an American whose fluency in English and technology made him one of the top terrorist recruiters in the world — was killed Friday in Yemen, according to U.S. and Yemeni government officials. The strike also killed Samir Khan, an American of Pakistani origin, and two others who were in the same vehicle as al-Awlaki, said the U.S. official, who was briefed by the CIA. Khan specialized in computer programming for al Qaeda and authored the terror network’s online magazine, Inspire. “I think it was a very good strike. I think it was justified,” Cheney told CNN’s Candy Crowley on “State of the Union.” But “I’m waiting for the administration to go back and correct something they said two years ago when they criticized us for ‘overreacting’ to the events of 9/11.” To further his argument Chaney and his daughter Liz go on to say: The Obama administration has “clearly … moved in the direction of taking robust action when they feel it is justified,” Cheney said. Cheney’s daughter, Liz Cheney, went a step further, saying Obama “in effect said that we had walked away from (America’s) ideals.” “I think he did tremendous damage,” Liz Cheney said. “I think he slandered the nation and I think he owes an apology to the American people.” What say you? Has Barack Obama proved to be a hypocrite? Source
