Nicki Minaj Reveals Childhood Crush On Bruce Willis

Young Money diva gushes over her ‘Your Love’ shout-out to MTV News at Teen Choice Awards. By Mawuse Ziegbe, with reporting by Kara Warner Nicki Minaj attends the 2010 Teen Choice Awards Photo: MTV News Nicki Minaj ‘s “Your Love” has been a breakout summer smash, so, music fans are familiar with the line “For your lovin’, I’mma Die Hard like Bruce Willis.” Since the song has topped the charts, it was only a matter of time before Willis got wind of the shout-out. “I can’t get enough songs on the radio that have my name in it,” Willis told MTV News in July. “It’s always an honor. I love that song. I don’t understand it, but I can understand my name.”

Selena Gomez, Lucy Hale Are Fashion Winners At Teen Choice Awards

Neutral hues dominate the blue carpet at awards show, which airs Monday night on Fox. By Amy Wilkinson Selena Gomez at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards Photo: Jason Merritt/ Getty Images Fans curious about which stars took home surfboards from the Teen Choice Awards will have to wait until Monday (August 9), when the event is broadcast on Fox. But we’ve already selected the winners and losers from the show’s blue carpet, where the night’s invited guests parade their fashion choices for the evening. For the ladies, the evening’s preferred color palette was anything neutral, including midnight blacks and pearly whites. “Ramona and Beezus” star Selena Gomez was among the style standouts, wearing a white dress with flowy sleeves that were complemented by soft waves in her hair. “Eclipse” star Ashley Greene also shifted into neutral for the evening, wearing a light pink dress that had lace detailing. (There was also a ring on her left ring finger — wonder what that’s all about?) Also putting a spin on the trend was “Pretty Little Liars” actress Lucy Hale, whose little black dress was accented by a sparkly blue mosaic on the bust and gold buckles on the straps and at the waist. Though many fashion experts would argue that you can’t go wrong with an LBD, a couple of actresses’ outfits provided a counterpoint to that theory. “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” star Shailene Woodley looked downright dowdy in her shredded-sleeve black dress and upswept bun; the button-festooned black frock worn by Katerina Graham from “The Vampire Diaries” was also a head-scratcher. The starlets who did eschew the night’s black and white theme opted for rich, jewel-toned hues. “Victorious” actress Victoria Justice matched the blue carpet in her cute strapless dress. Fivel Stewart, the sister of “Eclipse” actor Booboo Stewart, sported a sheer-sleeved frock with a colorful, doily-type embroidery around the neckline. Several “Glee” gals were harmonious in their choice for rich shades; Amber Riley grabbed attention in a belted fuchsia number, while Lea Michele opted for a sparkly ensemble in forest green and nude. Green wasn’t such a friend to Emma Roberts, however, as she looked rather washed out in her strapless olive-colored mini dress. For the guys, it was all about channeling James Dean, with many sporting variations on the theme of leather jackets and slicked-back ‘dos. “The Vampire Diaries” star Ian Somerhalder smoldered in his leather (though he sadly kept his hair covered with a fedora), while “Glee” actor Kevin McHale complemented his hair-raising style with a striped purple shirt and black tie. Though many men chose to keep it casual in button-downs and V-neck tees, a few of the men took advantage of below-average temperatores in Los Angeles and classed it up with variations on the suit. “Glee” star Cory Monteith’s black suit and tie were given an extra edge by a pair of black sneaks, while “Fringe” star Joshua Jackson looked quite dapper in his blue suit jacket, which he paired with skinny jeans. Vanessa Hudgens’ Sexy Little Combinations

I haven’t got a clue what these pictures of Vanessa Hudgens are for, they could be K Mart catalogue shots for all know, but she’s kind of cute and I’m sure there are some teenagers out there extremely interested in everything she does. I like the thigh high boots and short shorts combination, I can think of a few women closer to my age who should probably try this look out. Like the girl who works at the at the wine store around the corner… You know who you are.

See Sandra Bullock Make Surprise Appearance At Nashville Rising Benefit

Bullock attempts ‘Smoke on the Water,’ introduces Faith Hill. By Jocelyn Vena Sandra Bullock presents at Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery Photo: MTV News Sandra Bullock has had several high profile appearances this month. She appeared at Spike’s Guys Choice Awards and at the MTV Movie Awards earlier this month, and on Tuesday night, Bullock was one of the many stars doing her part to help raise funds of Nashville at the Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Strumming an acoustic guitar and wearing a black dress, Bullock hit the stage to play a quick rendition of “Smoke On The Water’ before addressing the crowd and sharing kind words for Faith Hill, who organized and hosted the event with husband Tim McGraw. “OK, who am I kidding? I can’t play for crap!” Bullock joked about her musical abilities. “But ladies and gentlemen, I would like to introduce an amazing woman, an extraordinarily talented woman, a disgustingly beautiful woman, and the woman that is one half of who made tonight possible. Ladies and gentlemen, the extraordinary Faith Hill.” With the crowd cheering, Bullock left the stage smiling. Bullock was one of many celebrities who pitched in to help raise money for Nashville, which was devastated by floods earlier this spring. The other stars at the event included Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. “As soon as I even heard that they’re putting something together, I just volunteered,” Swift said of being involved. “And I said I want to do this and I want to help out. It’s really wonderful that Tim and Faith stepped to action so quickly. I’m just really happy to be a part of it.” See the Nashville Rising website to learn more about what you can do to help with flood relief.

Sylvester Stallone Is ’99 Percent’ Sure ‘Rambo’ Franchise Is Done

‘That really was the legitimate finale,’ star says of 2008’s ‘Rambo.’ By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Sylvester Stallone Photo: Getty Images John Rambo has escaped death too many times to count. He’s survived bloody assaults from Vietnamese, Russian and Burmese soldiers, plus all manner of aggression from nefarious local law enforcement. Shoot, the guy healed his own bullet wound with nothing but a knife, a flame and some booze. So who’s to say that after four movies Rambo is done, never to return to the big screen with a truck-mounted .50-caliber machine gun blazing? Well, Sylvester Stallone, who burst our pie-in-the-spy “Rambo” dreams at the Spike Guys Choice Awards this past weekend. “I think so,” he said when MTV News asked if we’d seen the last of “Rambo.” That means the rumored plans for “Rambo V: The Savage Hunt” will likely never become a reality. Word was that the film would feature Rambo battling human traffickers and drug lords to save a girl kidnapped near the U.S.-Mexico border. Stallone was said to be gearing up both to direct and star in the flick, which would begin production in this spring. But by May, Stallone started backpedaling from not only that timeline but the stance that another “Rambo” was even necessary. Thus it seems like the conclusion of 2008’s “Rambo” — when the headband-wearing badass leaves Southeast Asia and is seen presumably returning to his family home in the U.S. — probably represents the final image in Rambo’s theatrical arc. And Sly is fine with that. “When he walked home, looked down the road, then looked straight ahead at the ranch, that really was the legitimate finale,” Stallone said. Yet he was reluctant to completely seal Rambo’s big-screen coffin. “Could anything happen?” Stallone said. “I’m 99 percent sure no. But …” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Related Artists Sylvester Stallone
