We’d say Oprah’s having a good year! She made it on the cover of Forbes , her OWN Network has recovered with record-breaking ratings, and she’s in cahoots with HBO for a new drama series. What more could she possibly achieve in 2012?? How about getting her OWN section on The Huffington Post? Oprah’s partnered with the news media monster and today was officially launch day. Here’s a snippet from her first open letter in the publication : It’s Launch Day. The beginning of our brand new special section of OWN, The Oprah Winfrey Network, on one of the most respected, energizing digital platforms worldwide, The Huffington Post. Thank you, Arianna, for allowing us to extend “the conversation” about empowerment and how we can grow and evolve ourselves to the truest expression of who we each are meant to be. This is my calling, my heart’s deepest desire: to fulfill my highest potential and to share what I know to help you do the same. One of my favorite quotes comes from Thought Leader and Wisdom Teacher Pierre Tielhard de Chardin: “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience.” My ultimate intention during the 25 year run of the Oprah show was to offer ways for us to see that we are all connected in our humanity and our desire for something greater… to know the depths of our spiritual selves. Via Hollyscoop reports : For a while now we could say without guessing that Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together on some level, but that “level” never included sucking faces and rubbing uglies on each other—that is…until today. A relationship confirmation comes in the form of some lustful behavior at Rihanna’s Halloween bash at Greystone Manor in West Hollywood on Wednesday, featuring lover stares, lip locks and lap dances. The event was understandably hidden from the press and the public, but an insider tells Hollyscoop exclusively that the RiRi-on-Breezy shenanigans going on inside would shatter the flimsy “just friends” reports like a glass champagne bottle in a NYC club. “Rihanna was all over Chris Brown all night giving him amazing and dirty lap dances,” the source tells Hollyscoop. According to the source, Brown showed up with an entourage of 16 male friends, one of which was comedian and the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards host Kevin Hart. Rihanna was seated with six of her female friends. While they didn’t show up together, their tables were adjacent and it didn’t take long for the ex-couple to have their hands all over each other. The source also adds that the couple was seen making out on several occasions throughout the evening, confirming what some gossip blogs have been stabbing at. Other than the mega-PDA that Brown was happy to entertain, the R&B artist has been on the receiving end of some serious hate for showing up to the party dressed as a member of the Taliban. Here’s the singer and his crew, Taliban style: The 23-year-old and his pals donned beards, turbans and fake guns as they made their way to a TSA Watch List Greystone Manor in West Hollywood. “Ain’t nobody F–king wit my clique!!! #ohb,” Chris tweeted, classily. Chris Brown himself hasn’t commented beyond that, but his mother, Joyce Hawkins, weighed in: “HALLOWEEN IS FOR FUN NOTHING MORE THAN JUST FUN.” “GET A LIFE PLEASE.” Thanks, Joyce. We’ll do that. It’s not like your boy goes out of his way to court controversy. Halloween is the time for shock value, but still. You’d think a convicted woman-beater with obvious rage issues might opt for a costume a little less provocative. You know, like Green Man from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia . Or Karrueche Tran . Karrueche Calls Rihanna A Homewrecker On Facebook Karrueche may have went from a main thang to a mistress literally over night , but she wants the world to know that it wasn’t without a little help from a certain “homewrecker.” While her Breezy-boo made it crystal clear in a public statement that he thought it was best to cut his oochie-coochie Kae loose so he could be free to frolick with Rih-Rih as a “single” man, the former ride-or-die “rice cake” isn’t going down without a fight….a facebook fight, that is. Breezy and Kae were spotted together earlier this week , just days after he was hangin’ with RihRih and friends of hers say it’s all because he had her WORKING FOR HIM! According to HipHollywood reports : Chris Brown was spotted Monday out and about with his recent ex, Karrueche Tran, but it’s not because they are getting back together. Sources tell us Tran was hired to style Chris Brown on a photo spread for XXL magazine this past Friday, where he’ll most likely appear on the cover. Apparently in addition to modeling, she dabbles in styling and was on set to make sure Chris looked fly. According to their source: ”H*ll no, they’re (Chris and Karrueche) not together. He with Rihanna and ain’t creeping with K.T. She needed a favor and he did it for her, plus she needed to be escorted around his house to get the rest of her s**t out his place. Ain’t no funny business between them. He just helped her out one time with something and she needed to get her s**t. No big deal.” The source added, “Chris wasn’t around this weekend (and we know why!!!) to let her get her things, so she did so today. It does hurt her a bit to see him and I’m sure no matter what anyone says there are still feelings on both their parts. But anyway, he’s a dog and hopefully this is her last time around his a**.” Seriously? Well it sounds like her “friend” is far from being a card carrying member of #teambreezy so we’re gonna take this one with a grain of salt.
