Fourth Drake/Chris Brown Brawl Victim Comes Forward

Fourth victim claims she suffered spinal injury during fight and plans to sue Drake. By Gil Kaufman Drake and Chris Brown Photo: We haven’t heard very much from Chris Brown or Drake about what happened at a New York nightclub last week. But we have gotten a string of comments from at least three women
who claim to have been injured by flying bottles
in the melee. The latest alleged victim spoke up on Tuesday, telling TMZ that she thinks Drake is the one to blame for the fight and that she plans to sue him over her injuries. The woman, Vladimira Brace, has hired a lawyer, who is claiming that his client suffered a spinal injury when she was trampled in the chaos that erupted at the SoHo nightclub W.i.P. in the early morning hours of June 14. Attorney Allan Friedman has reportedly sent a letter to Drake’s reps that alleges, “Your client instigated a brawl with Mr. Chris Brown … [Drake’s] actions were reckless and negligent in inflaming a violent mob … My client personally observed several members of [Drake’s] entourage throwing bottles of champagne with reckless and criminal disregard of the well-being of the innocent bystanders.” Drake’s spokespeople have denied his involvement in the fight, saying he exited the club before it began. Quoting unnamed sources close to Drake, TMZ said the rapper’s reps called Friedman’s allegations “laughable,” referring to the attorney’s claims that the Toronto MC has a “well-documented history” of making “vulgar, abusive and profane remarks concerning women.” Drake’s people noted that he was at the club with just a few security guards, unlike Brown and fellow rapper Meek Mill
, who they claim had large entourages with them. And, in light of Brown’s past, which includes a felony assault plea
in connection with his 2009 attack on former girlfriend Rihanna, Drake’s reps said the suggestion that their guy has an abuse history with women is hard to justify. Brace is the fourth woman to come forward with claims that she was injured in the fight. In addition to Brown, who posted a photo of his split chin, as well as the singer’s bodyguard, who sustained a head injury, NBA star Tony Parker and Australian tourist Hollie C., have claimed injuries from the fight. Also, a 21-year-old model, Ingrid Gutierrez, claims to have suffered a blow to the head from a bottle and her lawyer said she may require plastic surgery. Another victim, Lucy Pavlovsky, said she suffered a gash to the arm that required 12 stitches and she too is said to be considering legal action against the responsible parties. Police have not made any arrests over the incident, but they have subpoenaed the security tapes from the club and are reviewing them. Related Artists Drake Chris Brown

Larry Birkhead Continues Rampant Exploitation of Daughter, Death of Anna Nicole Smith

Larry Birkhead appeared on Good Morning America today to answer a couple of burning questions: How has he explained the death of Anna Nicole Smith to the former couple’s five-year old daughter, Dannielynn? Is he truly the most despicable parent on the planet? Based on yet another instance of Birkhead milking Smith’s death for attention and money, it would be hard to answer inquiry number-two in anything but the affirmative (despite the best efforts of Taylor Armstrong ), as Birkhead told viewers how he responded when Dannielynn asks about her mother. “I said, ‘You know, they, doctors couldn’t fix her. But if you’re good … you’ll get to see her someday.’” Smith, a very troubled actress/model, was found dead in a Florida hotel room on February 8, 2007. Birkhead has spent every few months since parading his cute daughter in front of reporters and giving the world updates on a child we all just wish could live a regular life, out of the spotlight. But Larry insists on making Dannielynn a public figure… and then acting shocked when she’s in the news. Such as when he dragged her last month to the Kentucky Derby. “You know, it’s weird when your child is five years old and trending,” the moron told Robin Roberts this morning. “There’s all these big stars that came and the next thing you know Dannielynn’s picture is all over the place.” Overall, Birkhead says “it’s hard to move on.” Why? “Because you have this little 47-pound reminder of her mother walking around. And you have all these images that are still so much very alive that you have to deal with every day. “I want to keep Anna’s image alive in a positive way. She could light up a room. And now her daughter’s taken her place and she’s lighting up every room that she goes into, trust me. I feel it every day.”

Meek Mill Denies Bottle Attack, Beef With Chris Brown

Drake’s homie Meek Mill says he didn’t throw any bottles during the W.i.P. club brawl that got the venue shut down and injured Chris Brown last week. Meek says Chris didn’t throw any either, and denies there is any lingering beef with the R&B singer or his camp. Mill told XXL (dot) com the following: “Chris and Drake, them two was there, but it’s other people that be around that take sh!t to the next level … Things just happen in the club.” “I seen girls in there throwing bottles, all types of sh!t. All types of people. I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle and I was there.” Asked if he threw a bottle at Brown, Meek replied, “F*%k no.” Mill, who was hanging at Drake’s table during the June 13 incident, was rumored to be an instigator in the fight (and to have banged Rihanna ). Meek claims, at least, that he spoke with Chris Brown on the phone after the brawl and both sides agreed they had no problem with the other.

Drake Sort of Speaks on Chris Brown Brawl in Concert

With some cryptic remarks at his concert Saturday night, Drake broke his silence about his alleged involvement in a violent bar brawl with Chris Brown last week. Days after the brawl left several people injured, caused massive property damage and got W.i.P. nightclub shut down , many unanswered questions remain. Drake cleared up none of them at Jones Beach in Long Island, N.Y., but he did appear to allude to the bottle-bashing melee between his crew and Brown’s. According to the N.Y. Daily News , Drake told the crowd : “When I woke up this morning, I had to think about a lot of things. But the only thing I gave a f–k about was that I was in New York City tonight.” Later during the show, he said, “It’s last call and you’re really too drunk to give a f–k … A n—a in the corner is standing there looking at you funny.” “You bump elbows with him on the way to the bathroom, but really there’s only one n—a that you got to think about.” So, yeah. There you go. Read into that however you like! Until this, the rapper has remained largely silent, issuing a statement through his rep last week that denied any involvement in the fracas. The club was shut down by law enforcement officials, who cited a litany of previous violations that culminated in Thursday’s notorious brawl. Chris Brown was hurt in the brawl, which also injured NBA star Tony Parker, model Lucy Pavlovsky , Chris’ bodyguard Big Pat and numerous others. [Photo: WENN.com]

Chris Brown/ Drake Bar Brawl: Meek Mill Speaks Out

‘I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle, and I was there,’ MMG rapper tells XXL of last week’s club fight. By Nadeska Alexis Meek Mill Photo: Chris Brown’s and Drake’s reps have issued statements about the NYC brawl between their entourages last week, but so far, the only direct words from the artists themselves have been via Twitter. Brown and MMG rapper Meek Mill have both tweeted about the incident in the past few days, but now Meek is finally speaking up about what he saw in the club that night as he stood next to Drake. In an interview with XXL, Meek was asked if he threw a bottle during the melee, which left Chris Brown, his bodyguard and several club patrons wounded. “F— no,” the Philly rapper responded, adding that Drake and Brown didn’t either. “Chris and Drake, them two was there, but it’s other people that be around that take sh– to the next level,” he said. “Things just happen in the club. I seen girls in there throwing bottles, all types of sh–. All types of people. I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle, and I was there.” In the hours following the brawl, Meek’s brief tweets didn’t add any clarity to the situation. He began with the coy line, “It wasn’t me…. (shaggy voice) lol,” and later responded to messages from Roscoe Dash, who blasted him along with Drake and Brown for fighting. Meek snapped back, “You gotta chill b4 you b tweeting my name in some sh– i wasn’t even really in! Stay in ya lane!” Later in the day, Brown — who had already deleted his initial tweets and the photo of his injury, which he posted right after the brawl — sent a follow up message, writing, “Me and @MeekMill ain’t on that bullsh–. Real respect Real….” Although the statement seemed odd, right after reports that Meek had played a role in instigating the fight, Meek confirmed to XXL that things were all good between him and Brown. “What [Brown] tweeted was just that me and Meek Mill ain’t got no problem,” he said. “I talked to him immediately after that, on the phone afterwards, like immediately. There’s nothing there, this-that-and-the-third. Chris Brown be in clubs. He be around situations like this. Things get out of hand. That don’t mean it’s out of hand with me and him or whoever, not even him and Drake.” Drake made his first public appearance since the brawl at his Club Paradise Tour stop in New York on Saturday night, bringing Meek along with him, but he made no real statement on what went down last week. Instead, he told fans that he’d had a rough couple of days but was in a much better mood by the time he hit the stage. Details from that night are still being revealed. The nightclub where the incident took place was shuttered this weekend, and clubgoers present at the time are reporting injuries from the brawl . Related Artists Meek Mill Chris Brown Drake

Drake Wants To ‘Bring People Together’ With Third Album

Toronto rapper tells MTV News he wants to have ‘a real impact on the world’ with his follow-up to Take Care. By Nadeska Alexis, with reporting by Sway Calloway Drake Photo: Every once in a while, Drake will remind us that he “got rich off a mixtape,” but now that the YMCMB rapper is coming up on his third album, he’s focused on sharing his evolution as an artist. Some of that change is a result of his experiences over the past couple of years, and his headline-making club brawl with Chris Brown this week should certainly factor in. The two entertainers clashed in a messy fight at a New York City nightclub on Wednesday after exchanging heated words. It seems fair to say that Drake, who tends to address the ups-and-downs of fame in his music, will have plenty of new material when he starts recording this third album. “I feel like with every project we do there’s growth and with every project I do, I become more comfortable with the artist I am,” Drake told MTV News’ Sway Calloway backstage at a recent stop on his Club Paradise tour . ” Take Care solidified a lot of things for me. [It’s] a list of things that would probably be too immense to go through, but it solidified a lot of things and let me know what I want to do, and who I want to be.” The Toronto rapper, who has clearly reflected on the scope of his music, added that he’s pushed boundaries way past the standards. “The music that I make is bigger than the box people try and put rappers [in],” he said. “People always try to draw me back to just rap. And — nah, I’m good. I like what I do. Period. That’s how I feel. Nobody can really do what I do or what we do, including 40 and all the producers that I’ve worked with.” Drake has already revealed that his third album will be very much influenced by recent events in his life, including his move to Los Angeles, but he also hopes it will have a lasting effect on people. “[It’s interesting] to see artists that have a real impact on the world,” he said. “We live in a generation where there is nothing necessarily to fight for politically, whereas in the Marley documentary [for example] he was fighting for peace in Jamaica. [There’s] nothing necessarily for me to step up and say I want to fight for, but there is a way for me to give moments to the world, and to bear my emotions and hope that I’m remembered as that guy who was able to bring people together. I want to be that guy. I want to bring people together.”

Lucy Pavlovsky, Model Injured in Drake-Chris Brown Skirmish, Plans to Sue

A model who claims she required 12 stitches after she was caught up in last week’s Chris Brown-Drake fight plans to sue … possibly both of the musicians. Javier Solano, a lawyer representing Lucy Pavlovsky, says the model was in the VIP section at W.i.P. Nightclub when the violent fight went down. He says Lucy ducked down when bottles started flying and didn’t notice her arm was gushing blood until she was making her way out of the club. Solano says Lucy took a cab to the nearest hospital, and got a total of 12 stitches to close up two cuts on her arm, along with a tetanus shot. According to Solano, Lucy Pavlovsky was interviewed by NYPD officers on Friday. She is “gathering evidence” for a possible criminal complaint. Solano says Lucy’s lawsuit would be against the club, which was shut down for various violations, but hinted Drake and/or Brown could be included. “At this moment we are exploring all options,” he said. “I can assure you that regardless of fame, money or stature, the people responsible will be held accountable.” Also injured in the fight, allegedly over Rihanna : Chris Brown himself; his chin was gashed . Chris’ bodyguard Big Pat, whose head was bashed. San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker, whose eye was cut. Ingrid Gutierrez, a 21-year-old model who was at Brown’s table and suffered “bruises, stitches and trauma to her face,” according to reports. Whose side are you on?
