If you didn’t believe us yesterday that Iowa farmer and Bachelorette third-place finisher Chris Soules is The Bachelor , this photo ought to do the job. The telling picture on Chris’ Instagram page shows the Soules Man with Bachelorette buddy Cody Sattler rocking shirts exclaiming “America Needs Farmers.” While clenching a rose in their teeth for good measure. This after The Bachelor spoilers guru Reality Steve leaked the news, or at least that it was official (we’ve all strongly believed it was Chris for awhile). Hard to see this as anything but a subtle confirmation that he’s more than ready to dole out the roses to 25 lucky ladies come January on ABC. That or he and Cody are just really passionate about agriculture and its role in American life. Which is entirely plausible, but still. This is your Bachelor . No, the photo was not captioned “I’m The Bachelor,” and we don’t expect to hear him say it in those words until the end of Bachelor in Paradise . The network is no doubt holding off until that finale for the big “reveal,” even though it will come as a surprise to no one that Chris Soules gets the nod. He’s bringing farmers back, or something. Did they ever leave? Were they ever at the forefront of masculinity and sexiness in the pop cultural sense? We’re not sure. But his selection should play well with Bachelor Nation, which pushed for him to get the nod as soon as Andi Dorfman let him go. Are you excited to watch Chris Soules as The Bachelor? YES! It’s Fantasy Suite time on The Bachelorette and Andi Dorfman is ready to get down to business with her final three guys … possibly in more ways than one. Did Nick Viall, Josh Murray and/or Chris Soules get invited in for an overnight date? What happened behind closed doors? Who said what that surprised her? Most significantly, who advanced to the season finale in two weeks? As always, if you read The Bachelorette spoilers , you know the answer … or at least what we thought was the answer going in. Now, without further ado, on to THG’s The Bachelorette recap! Andi Dorfman is really, really excited to be in the Dominican Republic because it’s just SO romantic. She’s so excited she decided to don a bikini for the first time in her two-season stint on The Bachelor franchise. Nick Viall gets the first date in the Dominican Republic and after making out in a helicopter tour, he and Andi embark on a private island for a day together. They swim, they snack, they snorkel, and Nick TOTALLY BLOWS IT when he tries to tell Andi he loves her. He just can’t bring himself to say it out loud. During their dinner together, Nick brings out a book he wrote for Andi. It’s a fairy tale of their journey together with pages at the end left blank so they can continue the story together. After she invites him to the Fantasy Suite, he tells her he loves her. Andi looks pleased as punch to now have three guys in love with her. For her second date in the DR, Andi and Josh walk around the capitol city where he impresses her with his fluency in Spanish and she treats him to a little league baseball game before telling her he loves her like he’s said it a million times. Unlike Nick. Their dinner date turns a little more serious as Andi and Josh discuss what kind of parents they’ll be and Josh says he can see her as his wife. Hopefully that’s enough seriousness for Andi to know that Josh isn’t just a goofy jock. She invites him to the Fantasy Suite, too, and he accepts. For her third date in the Dominican Republic, Andi Dorfman takes Chris Soules horseback riding through the Dominican Republic where he marvels at their lack of modern farming techniques and reliance on doing everything by hand circa the 1930s. After telling him that his family was so inviting and genuine, they play Ghosts in the Graveyard. Andi isn’t sure that Chris should get an invitation to the Fantasy Suite and is waiting on a sign of some sort to tell her what to do. They talk more about Iowa and how it would be a huge transition for Andi to move there and Chris says that he’s in love with her. She says she’s just not sure she feels the same way, or anywhere close to that. (What is wrong with her?!? IS SHE BLIND?!? Farmer Chris is HOT HOT HOT!) Her head and heart just don’t match up so rather than make him wait for a rose ceremony, Andi’s sending Chris home. He just wins even more points by telling her that she’s doing the right thing if her feelings aren’t there. Before the rose ceremony, Andi sits down with Chris Harrison to talk about how she has two guys in front of her who are both so different but whom she likes equally as well. While the rose ceremony is a formality, it’s one she has to go through because there’s always a chance that these two guys who are IN LOVE WITH HER could say “nah, JK! Don’t want your rose!” Both Nick and Josh accept Andi’s rose and her invitation to meet her family. Her dad’s a tough nut to crack, so that should be interesting! Kaley Cuoco is nothing if not an animal lover. Earlier today, Kaley spoke out against an anti-pitbull article published by Time magazine (Cuoco and her husband Ryan Sweeting are currently three rescue pits). Shortly thereafter, she posted a photo from her Instagram page taken during last night’s Wheels for Seals event, during which Kaley and supporters stationary cycled to raise money for the American Humane Society. Kaley helped plan and promote the fundraiser as part of her effort to help end seal hunting in Northern Canada. Obviously, it was a great event for a great cause…and as an added bonus, Kaley looks great post-workout! The photo above was taken shortly after Kaley and Ryan stepped off their bikes, and even after working up a sweat, they both look ready for their close-ups. In recent interviews, Kaley has stated that she was “born to be a mom,” and said during last night’s event that when she and Sweeting have children they plan to “start at the very beginning” by teaching their offspring how to be kind to animals. Nick Viall may be back in the driver’s seat on The Bachelorette after last night, which saw the self-proclaimed frontrunner smooth things over with Andi Dorfman. Meanwhile, Josh Murray seemed to take a step backward (though he did get a rose) and secret admirer Chris Soules is looking like the season’s dark horse. “Nick brought the passion and made me feel so special,” writes Andi Dorfman on her weekly blog, which is free of The Bachelorette spoilers but still telling. “My favorite kiss of the day was when we were floating underneath the famous Bridge of Sighs [where] you’re supposed to have eternal love.” “I had always felt a mental and physical connection with Nick and today was no different. This was the Nick that I have loved getting to know.” As for how Nick Viall handled his less-than-stellar performance on the previous week’s group date, and the allegations of arrogance by his co-stars? “I had my concerns with Nick from the previous week because he seemed to not be getting along with the guys, which was a major turnoff,” says Andi . “Nick actually owned up to his part of the drama. He explained that he was confident, not arrogant, in the relationship that we had been building.” “As if the night couldn’t have gone any better, Nick got all nervous and started mumbling his words and I knew something big was coming.” “When he finally found his courage, he told me that he was falling in love. I was so happy that Nick was allowing himself to have those feelings for me.” Watch The Bachelorette Season 10 Episode 6 Online Things didn’t go as perfectly for Josh Murray , who was far from pleased about having to take a lie detector test on the group date, even if Andi tore up the results! “There’s a big part of me that understood why he didn’t like the lie detector test but it wasn’t as if I had even read his results,” acknowledges Dorfman. “I wanted it to be fun, but it clearly frustrated Josh, which in turn frustrated me because I had just come off such a great date with him in Marseilles.” “There were some good parts of the conversation that you didn’t get to see, but I still walked away from my conversation with Josh feeling defeated and confused.” As for Chris Soules, who was revealed as Andi’s “secret admirer”? “He kept telling me he had a secret to tell me, and I knew that he was the secret admirer! He was so cute when he finally told me!” Dorfman gushed. “It allowed me to, again, see how romantic, thoughtful and most of all, how attentive he was. He was definitely deserving of the group-date rose! Not so lucky in love last night? Cody Sattler. Despite being “one of the most genuine and grateful guys I have ever met,” Andi was just not feeling it. “I hate hurting anyone’s feelings and that night I knew I was hurting Cody and it was breaking my heart. I can’t say enough kind things about Cody,” she says. “I really had to go with my instincts.
