Young Carter joins the family business…. Lil Wayne’s Daughter Regina Sings To His Record Label YMCMB bossman Lil Wayne is keeping his eldest child and only daughter where he can see her as she ventures into teen territory. Weezy recently revealed that his 14-year-old first born Reginae will officially be joining the Young Money family. via MTV News Young Money is keeping it all in the family, quite literally. The label’s newest signee is none other than Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter. In an interview with Rap-Up TV, YMCMB honcho Mack Maine explained, “Wayne’s daughter, Reginae, is actually signed to Young Money now.” He further added about the new generation of Young Money “youngins”, “You can expect big things from Young Money’s youngest signee. “Just expect greatness. She’s Toya [Wright’s] daughter and Wayne’s daughter, so that’s a great combination. She’s a megastar.” It was heavily speculated that Weezy was the one who pulled the plug on Reginae’s short stint with the OMG Girlz back when Tiny & Toya had their own reality show, but we never quite got to see what it was that she actually did in the group. Is this really how Chris Dorner died? Chris Dorner Autopsy Report Confirms Cause Of Death The San Bernardino Police Department has announced the results of deceased ex-LAPD officer-turned-fugitive Chris Dorner’s autopsy report.  Dorner died during a police stand off earlier this week and it is being reporting that the cause of death was suicide. via ABC News Christopher Dorner, the former Los Angeles police officer who went on killing rampage appeared to have killed himself, authorities said. The autopsy showed that Dorner’s cause of death was a single gunshot to the head. “The information that we have right now seems to indicate that the wound that took Dorner’s life was self inflicted,” said Capt. Kevin Lacy of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department in a press conference Friday. Dorner, 33, was found dead after a standoff with police. The cabin where Dorner barricaded himself in went up in flames on Feb. 12. Authorities said police made “numerous PA announcements identifying [Dorner] by name, asking him to surrender,” before firing pyrotechnic tear gas inside the cabin Dorner had holed up in, causing the building to go up in flames. “We did not intentionally burn down that cabin to get Mr. Dorner out,” San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon told reporters on Feb. 13. Not too many can argue with autopsy reports….that is, if you believe that the police department is giving us the full run down. However, the fact still remains that there are more than a few unanswered questions surrounding this shoot out and eventual death of Chris Dorner that the officers involved have yet to address, like these . Makes you wonder what there is to hide, riiiiiight?

Rihanna’s lovey-dovey reunion with Chris Brown at the Grammys sparked debate among viewers, with a lot of peeps offering support and many others critical. Some fellow stars aren’t fans of the romance being back on either. Case in point: Katy Perry, who has been close friends with Rihanna for years now. Perry “doesn’t approve” of Rihanna and Chris Brown dating again, according to Us Weekly , and as a result, their friendship has reportedly suffered. “They aren’t tight anymore because Katy doesn’t approve of Rihanna dating Chris Brown,” an insider said of the sexy songbirds’ strained relationship. You know what was tight? Katy Perry’s Grammys dress . Whoa. The tension is not lost on Rihanna, who’s made clear that she expected and can take the backlash, even if it means alienating fans or those close to her. If it’s a mistake, she told Rolling Stone , then it’s her mistake . She owns it, for sure, and the Grammys served as a coming out party of sorts for the duo, who were seen smiling, very affectionate and posing for cameras. Sinead O’Connor on Pope Benedict XVI Resignation: Good Riddance!

With Pope Benedict XVI resigning effective at the end of this month, Sinead O’Connor would like to send a message to the soon-to-be departing pontiff. SEE YA! The eccentric singer, who has been a long-time critic of this pope and the Catholic Church in general, posted a message to her official website today soon after learning of the news. It reads: I would like to congratulate Pope Benedict on his wise decision to retire before the very worst of what has been going on is discovered. I appreciate his alluding to some of it in his statement and assure him The Most High forgives those who can faithfully say they did wrong. The church had been brought into dreadful disrepute by lies and blasphemies against The Holy Spirit. Benedict’s greatest achievement is this act of retiring. There is a chance now for the church to be re-built and made fit to house The Holy Spirit. Pope Benedict XVI, of course, has come under major fire over the years for the hundreds of sex scandals facing priests across the globe. What is your reaction to his leaving the post?

Mountain Dew Breakfast Drink: Actually Coming Soon!

Are you ready to do the Dew… immediately after waking up? PepsiCo Inc. announced today that it will soon come out with a beverage called Kickstart, a replacement for coffee that contains Mountain Dew flavor along with extra caffeine, juice and Vitamins B and C. Kickstart will hit shelves with such flavors as “energizing orange citrus” and “energizing fruit punch,” although the company is quick to say this is NOT an energy drink. It is not comprised of the mysterious ingredients that have landed Red Bull and Monster in  a bit of trouble. John Sicher, publisher of the trade journal Beverage Digest, compares this Mountain Dew drink to Starbucks’ Refreshers and labels it an “interesting experiment.” But will it be a successful one? Kickstart will be available later this month and be served in 16-ounce cans.

Rihanna and Chris Brown celebrated their buzzed-about Grammy PDA-fest by hitting up a Hollywood club last night, and apparently smoking up a storm! The obviously-fully-reconciled-and-dating-duo dropped by Supperclub for a private party … one in which the entire place was filled with pot smoke. We don’t know what they were smoking, of course, but both have made their fondness for marijuana clear … and there’s no way that club allows cigarettes. They were then driving away from the club with Rihanna in the passenger seat at around 3:20 a.m. No paparazzi-related car crash reported this time. Rihanna and Chris Brown Cozy Up at Grammys, Blow Up Twitter, Polarize Fans

Chris Brown and Rihanna didn’t perform together at the 2013 Grammys last night. Nor did they walk the red carpet as a couple, each arriving separately. Yet the R&B stars may have been the night’s top story. The singers spent the entire night cozying up to each other in the audience, as CBS cameras frequently went to the controversial couple for reaction shots. It was a very public display of affection and a signal to the world that Chris Brown and Rihanna are back together, no matter what you might think of it. As expected, viewer reactions were mixed, and heated. On the eve of the ’09 Grammys, Brown shocked the industry and world when he assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna, whose bruised face became a tabloid fixture. Four years is a long time, but it was still amazing to see Rihanna, decked out in a red dress and smiling ear to ear, photographed leaning her head on Brown. All night long. Think she’s trying to make a point or something? This actually wasn’t their most shocking appearance in tandem this month. Rihanna stuck by her man and showed up in court with him last week. Brown is accused of violating his probation by submitting false community service records … in connection with his sentence for assaulting Rihanna. Yet there she was in court, by his side. In a recent interview, Rihanna said dating Brown makes her happy and “if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake .” Think we’re getting the picture, even if it’s a very polarizing one. Chris Brown Attorney Defends Singer, Fires Back at D.A., Alleges Huge Conspiracy

Chris Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos is far from pleased with the L.A. County District Attorney’s allegation that the star lied about doing community service . In his official response to the D.A.’s scathing motion, Geragos hits back hard , claiming that prosecutors omitted key facts and implying they are out to get Chris. Brown is accused of falsifying reports , but Geragos refutes claims that “no human being ever witnessed” Chris performing the required community service. On the contrary, Geragos claims the deputy police chief in Richmond, Va., personally “observed Brown working very hard at cleaning the brush at the [police] stables.” Geragos’ filing also includes invoices and checks indicating that Chris Brown paid $31,534.70 to the Richmond PD for providing security during his labor details. Richmond PD’s counsel also sent the D.A. documents showing Chris did some of his required hours of service – back in 2009-2010 – at various police precincts. However, nowhere does Geragos refer to the Tappahannock (Va.) Children’s Center, where Chris says he performed odd jobs and where his mom was once director. The D.A. has questioned the validity of Chris’ hours there because Joyce Hawkins filled out his paperwork and no one else appears to have seen him working there. Geragos says he’s just begun, however, and that “what we’ve uncovered so far should shock the conscience of the court. And this is only the tip of the iceberg.” Richard Marx had no immediate comment.

Chris Brown in Court: WITH RIHANNA!

Chris Brown was dragged into court in L.A. today to answer to accusations from the D.A.’s office that he submitted bogus community service records . Trying to dupe authorities in such fashion – which he denies – could mean a violation of Chris’ probation, which he’s still on for his 2009 assault on Rihanna. What did Brown, his attorney and a judge have to say about it? Chris Brown in Court Not a lot. The judge wants to hear more evidence and scheduled the next hearing for April 5. But most notably, Chris showed up for court WITH RIHANNA! Chris Brown’s girlfriend sat quietly in the gallery with his mom as Brown and his lawyer Mark Geragos told the judge the singer did nothing wrong. The judge said he needed more time to review all of the evidence presented by the D.A., alleging that Brown’s service record was false or incomplete. Brown was also ordered to meet with his probation officer within 48 hours to discuss the situation, and to return for court for a new hearing April 5. That’s it. Chris Brown and Rihanna left the courtroom arm-in-arm; she smiled at the R&B singer and tried to cheer him up as they left the building. Brown, who unleashed an Instagram rant about the situation the night before, was all smiles as he was driven away from court, so we guess it worked. You gotta stand by your man, right?
